    I have spent hours watching YT videos on various aspects of the Turks head and handle wrap. Your production is one of the best. Simple, Sweet and Clear. Great Job!

    After 4 hours of watching videos and reading diagrams and being totally frustrated trying to make a Turks head knot, I found this video. Amazing!!!! Got it made first try. Thank you!!!!!!

    Fantastic, simple, useful video. Did three sticks with this and it's fast to do and strong. The turk's head finishes it nicely. Thanks!

    Thank you for the excellent tutorial! Used it to add a useful paracord handle to my search and rescue walking stick. I was able to do the wrap on the first attempt due to this excellent video, with only a few mistakes I had to redo.

    Just did my walking stick, both the upper and lower grips. Thank you so much. This tutorial made it so easy. Subed. Can't wait to make some more things you have on your channel.

    Thank you so much for this video. I used 300 ft of 1/4" rope and covered a support post in my basement. It looks beautiful!

    Thank you for this tutorial. I was able to wrap the tiller handle of my sailboat's rudder. Looks great. Turks head knots are the bane of my existence though. Took probably eight tries on each end before I got it where I wanted it.

    When wrapping for a handle have you had any issues with the wrap coming loose or twisting on the pole?
    If so how have you dealt with that problem?
    I’m using natural cordage (various) and am wary of the handle wrap coming loose so I’m trying to find the best ways to stop that.
    Also (not to make it too tricky) but ideally I’m looking for a natural/ free way to do this, I.e like a pine resin glue underneath if needed.
    Any advice you could give would be hugely appreciated, thank you so much for the videos you create!

    Nice... I did this to wrap the handle of a cane for a blind friend. The grip is solid and tactile. It adds interest to an otherwise utilitarian piece. Thanks for sharing.

    The link to your store does not work. Is there any other way to purchase printable instructions for this project? It's very hard to do this from a video.

    How do I calculate how much cord per inch of handle to wrap???

    • @akajd5907
      @akajd5907 3 роки тому

      I would think it depends on the dimensions of your handle ie.... diameter or circumference etc.

      Do a test wrap on whatever you want to wrap. Wrap one or two inches, mark the ends, then unwrap and measure the paracord or rope. Measure how much of the object you want to wrap and calculate from there.
      i.e. 3ft paracord per inch wrapping 12 inches is 36ft....

    Real talk; do you really need "2" lacing needles? It looks like you only used 1. Just wondering. :^)

    • @johnmichaels4330
      @johnmichaels4330 3 роки тому +2

      You dont even need a needle, just do it loose and tighten up, but a needle sure help, no matter what size.

      @@johnmichaels4330 Even though I’ve made this handle 3 times on 3 different flashlights since posting my question (and using only one needle for the Turks head knots), it’s great to have your opinion. I hope your paracord journey is going well!

    Can you tell me the width of the Turks Head and the width of the overall wrap?
    Thanks

    • @kenaten9692
      @kenaten9692 7 років тому

      Patrick C it depends on how many strands you make it and what type of cord is used.
