I pulled this in a game of skate and the dude was like what? O.o
I can do this but i can't ollie.
That’s the whole point
I can ollie, will learn this trick tomorrow
@@jokeologist not really, this came first
@@🈸🈚 me too my body just nopes out on concrete
MENACEWAVE 444 same too scary
That looks at least 2x more cooler then a modern kickflip
@Ben McInnes your opinion doesnt count you have no pfp
@Ben McInnes modern kickflips are overrated, kickflips are better while riding onto stuff or riding off of stuff, otherwise it's overrated
@Ben McInnes wrong?😂 do you realise the amount of skill it took to bust one of these on an old skateboard? Modern kickflips, on a modern board are easy by comparison. I mean, try one of these whilst riding man... It does look so much better
are u still alive
This is how to win against the good guys at the skatepark in a game of skate
The song sounds like it was made from garage band
sweeetcheeba a bit harsh maybe?
That insult wasn't even good
Harsh but like legit the sound samples r from garage band
It was i think 😂
The only garbage here is you lol
So many people are going to land primo trying this trick
Yup
Yeah I've landed primo a lot trying this trick I finally landed one yesterday
Eric Evans too bad my DVS broke, now i have terrible thin Supras
Exzavior Williams yeah supras are thin as fuck but I'm skating vans skate hi's which are pretty thin too but there swede so they work pretty well
i really like DC and DVS but DVS break easy and i had some Vans LXVI and i would get blisters and bruises every time i skated they are the lightest shoe in the WORLD it seems like
This was SUPER helpful. I tried doing this trick before but I wasn't turning when I was jumping and my footing was awkward. I'm skating an old school style 10 inch board and finally landed it. Now it's just a matter of getting it consistent and doing it while rolling!
NOW DO IT DOWN EL TORO
lmao i came from that to
you can only do old school tre flips to send it down things
I'm goofy and I feel way more comfortable doing this with my right foot...
Hobbit98LP but then it would be a heelflip, not a kickflip
Me to
Same!
+Kaique Santos just called it switch
Marshall_MfH me too
I like the trick but lol I thought this was a kyro vid
I wonder why Aaron Kyro never does this trick
He's not oldschool enough lol.
He’s to terrified so he hired this kid to teach us
he actually learned it in a vid with mike
god!this trick is fucking coooool
:D
***** Can you please make a How to catch a Kickflip the easiest way, i can fully flip it and even flick a double flip but i CANNOT land it, i always land right off the board or on the tail or toe draging and i REALLY want to learn it
Exzavior Williams i guess you just have to overcome your fear
+xysong i know right
I love kickflips, they look so cool, I can't wait to learn to kickflip and learn varial kickflips, and etc, heelflips look cool as well.
i'm goofy and I do it with my right foot.. so this way I wont land in fakie. so you can do it with whatever foot feels comfortable for you
I do it the same way bro. It’s funny, I ride goofy but I do all my tricks with my right foot if possible
You still start in fakie that way. Technically you don't have to do the body varial to be able to land the trick, it's just with the motion you're already making it is easier to complete the body rotation you were already going for.
YES!!! I've been dying to learn this
That end though... god damn.
i can see it as a longboard kickflip too so i'm excited to learn it cuz i started out longboarding ive only been skating since christmas which isnt much cuz of the cold.
this is a really easy trick to learn and you will catch a lot of people off gaurd in games of skate.
switch is when is riding in a different foot (from goofy to regular or regular to goofy), fakie is when you move backwards on the same stance
Cool thing about skate is that you can do everything you want, you don't need to know how to kickflip to make a sick line, you just need creativity
I keep landing on the bottom (trucks up) side of my board. Can’t get the full spin in. Any tips?
UPDATE: LANDED A SHITLOAD OF TIMES. It’s all about turning your entire body to full goofy or regular stance to force the flip to happen
@Bloo You can turn back to your natural stance before landing. It's just harder than turning 180 and landing it fakie. Also, jetbot33 talked about the board rotation, not the body varial.
Skateboarding isn't a job or sport, its an art. Its about self expression. Some people are daredevils and like to do super gnarly stuff and others like to keep its clean and simple. Its about what you choose to learn, not doing it right or doing what everyone else is doing.
This is so awesome! Thank you so much. I'm new to skateboarding and this really helped.
Whenever I try to do this trick I look like a fool...
Why
@@basedstuff7437 you really expect to get an answer from a 7 year old comment
@@adaddylicious1748 haha i didn't look at that
I was expecting: hello im Aaron kyro a sponsored skater from the San Francisco bay area
Reality: Hi im a normal skater
But good tutorial...i will try this
Who dislikes this ? It was a good video . Most skateboarders I know respect where skateboarding came from , just because it's a beginner trick is no reason to say it's lame, that's like saying a foot plant sucks. By the way I was doing this in the 80's and it's still fun to watch
Prerequisite for the kickflip.
Braille, love your videos, love your group. Im doing this on a 36" longboard, and i have the flipping, and flip while jumping onto the board...but it's that final "put it all together" part that messes me up. i get only get it to flip half way. how do i get more "air". also how do i get my foot to "get under" the board, that's super weird for me. this is like the only trick im learning cuz my longboard doesnt have a kick tail. last, can you guys try to make a video about tricks that doesn't need ollie's, like a boneless and this trick. Thanks, i know its a lot of info to process.
I love old skool
oh my i just got back from a flight from geneva yesterday from the airport there and i also saw that skate park by the under the bridge near i think coop or migros don't rember to well such a quiescence
I love old school tricks and am definitely going to give it a try.
This kid is amazing if you haven't seen the vid that Brett Novac did for him LOOK IT UP this kid has talent
I saw a video of a skateboarding competition from 1976 and back then they called this the "flipkick"
i like this because it will not tear your shoes
True
Depends if the game of skate allows old school really. Berrics rules probably wouldn't allow it even though it technically isnt feed on the ground.
This trick is so hard!!! It took me a whole 15 minutes to land it semi-consistently.
that guy's got some nice skills! manual flip manual flip manual doble flip out?
old school for life...
Please make video how to old school heelflip...
he is out casually olling the grand cannon
can you make a video about like 5 or 10 easiest skateboard tricks without needing ollie? thanks for everything
Very cool trick great video awesome instructions
I’m left handed but I use my skate with the right foot because most people use it that way but I kinda want to skate with both feet
This is cool , I'm learning this for sure
This helped a lot, thank u
if you skate long enough you can do any trick no joke thats what happened to me and i'm almost 20, just believe hard enough really and remember to aim and land on the back trucks first cus thats what matters other than nose grinds
Back when they played absolute bangers on braille
my dad does it old school but i think you know why he was skating in the 80 90 and so on
I like 360 flip or 360 inward heelflip
Omg thank you I literally did it now I can do this an Ollie and backside 180
looks dope. very thorough, thank you.
you make it look so easy
Gonna try to have this on lock so i can do it in lines!
Thnx man going to go and try it now like if you're a skateboarder
Very good explaining!
I'm also from Switserland (Arzier, just above Nyon.)
seems we may need a GvR competition soom
cool trick!
Good tutorial I'll give it a shot
Thanks
I don’t think what foot you use and your stance really matters I’m goofy but my right foot is dominant so I use it lol
Hi I’m Alexander radamaker im a skateboarder from Geneva Switzerland hi Alex my name is Arron Kyro I’m a pro skateboarder from the San Francisco Bay Area
Yo im gonna type that tommarow and if i get it ill tell more people about the video.
Thanks helped a lot
Thx soooooo mutch
wait the ending clip with the manuals was normal kickflips and not this right?
🎅🎅🎅Christmas in to days
Where is aaron kyro?
That manual at the end mad me wet XD it was so sweet
Bro, can u demonstrate for goofy too?
Can we do this trick in gaps.
I think stairs would be better
Bart flip- Spencer Nuzzi
I really hope that name catches on
Thanks bruh
I do something similar to this. I call it a kickflop.
This kickflip is not as high as the kickflip skaters do nowadays, but still its awsome :)
"Your an idiot."
Ironic!
never thought of that
how long do you need for this
We don't need concave on skate to this trick, right?
I think an argument could be made its harder than a modern. It takes skill for sure.
Thanks really helps
Is this Aaron Kyro
this trick seems like a fun thing to do just to mess with someone in a game of S.K.8 haha. thanks man :D
would this count as a creative trick? or a normal flip trick
Whats the difference between switch and fakie?
Can we get a new version of this tutorial with better footage (e.g. talking about shoulders and actually showing the shoulders instead of just feet? and explanation of starting and ending stances
yup
Awesome!!!
I'm regular Evry time I do it I land underneath my board plz help
im both
First of all. I'm goofy and if you are too just try which way is more comfortable. Ok?
+Finn jettison but you wouldnt land fakie
you should make a video when you start fackie and do an old school kick flip into regular
I learned this to win games of SKATE
i fucking love doing this trick. first one i learned ever.
Still a cool trick to this day. Didn't Russ Howell or Rodney Mullen invent it?
idk but i know rodney invented the normal kickflip
probably earlier than mullen since it doesn't require an ollie...still mullen pioneered flatground so might still be him
No Mullen didn’t invent this one, this trick is actually the reason that he invented the modern kickflip. This was the only way people knew how to kickflip and it was so limiting to lines and building more advanced tricks off of it that Mullen invented a way to do it without totally changing your feet position and completely opened up new ways to skate.
A guy name Curt Lindgren. I think did this flip. Rodney Mullen was just playing around with it when he was learning it and accidently did it
i just got a new tony hawk skater board and can now jump a crack
oh this is a how to? for a second i thought a kid on one the skate supports went with a parody opening.
Thx
I think its because its FUN
That's awesome
