I have a very similar body to hers, and I've always been extreamly insecure about my hips. But when I saw her, and saw the comments of people saying how beautiful she is, I became extreamly happy! She is so pretty!
Your message made me so happy as well! This is so awesome that you could relate! Pear shapes are beautiful, feminine and there are so many ways to look flattering! Hope so much more women to see that too! It is all about what you choose to see and how you choose to carry yourself!
Omg same I struggle a lot with my wide hips and I always wear long cardigans or just something to hide it but now I’m slowly just starting to accept myself i dont know it’s nice to read your message and relate to you.
I agree! Pear styles always tell you to wear flowy skirts and dresses and dark bottoms. Those look matronly to me. My style is more colorful and tighter tops.
The model is beautiful! I would also recommend wide waist belts, about 3" wide. They do WONDERS. They can be leather or something in a more stretchy, comfortable material. I'm not exactly thin but no one ever thinks I'm not thanks to waist belts 😂
Great video. What made it good is that you kept some of the pieces that weren’t working and improved them instead of just giving her completely new outfits to make her look more flattering. This method makes it easy for us watching, to do the same thing with our existing clothes. 👏
That red dress at the end looks amazing on her!! I'm a pear-shape as well & I like how much you changed her appearance by making tiny changes in the 4th outfit :)
She looks lovely in both the before and after. It is when they are both side by side I really notice the difference - magically looks a size smaller in the after.
I think that because the pear shape is the “in” body type right now (think Kim K, Rihanna) this advice is sort of outdated. Accentuating the width of your hips with respect to your slimmer waist instead of hiding it is the trend nowadays.
I believe you're totally right. As a pear shaped person myself, I searched for some dressing tips and most of them are about how to hide those hips. And I've worked so hard on building them (weight lifting and all) and I think they are quite an asset. I don't see why I'd want to hide them.
I really like how they use the model's own closet, and never change anything too drastically. It never really "changes their personal style" so to say.
The video has the tips displayed on screen and that is simply great! Earlier, I always wondered what you were trying to show. A personal request - please do a video showing how to dress an apple-shape. I have a big stomach. My profile from behind doesn't look fat. Would love some help. Thank you.
So it seems to me that your videos are either a hit or a miss. And they are either a SERIOUS hit or miss. This one was most definitely a hit!! All of your outfits were cute and stylish, yet still hit the motherly aesthetic! You genuinely got a like from me!
I wear skinny jeans and over-sized tops which they kinda tell you not to do but I think it looks flattering on me. I'm sick of seeing us being told we should try to hide our hips and thighs like a lot of us are insecure about those areas because the "ideal" says it not attractive. I don't like tight tops or wide trousers but I have found good ways to balance out different silhouettes and emphasis areas. I personally love showing off my legs and butt.
oh thank you so much for the video! my body type doesn't fit my sense of style though :( for instance I love baggy shirts & skirts & knee highs but since my body is pearl shaped, I probably make myself look much bigger ahh
Not long before I found your blog, i watched your every video and I love your every video... You make everything easy and simple 😘 please keep blogging. You are really pretty
That's crazzzzy why wouldn't she want to show her shape?! LADIES I LOVE THE HOW THE PEARS ARE BIGGER DOWN THE BOTTOM AND SMALLER AT THR TOP!!! GOD'S DESIGNS NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME!!
So basically.... 1. 0:35 if you want to show off your hips and thighs, wear lighter colored pants than the tops 2. 0:57 do the opposite for a modest formal look 3. Emphasize the waist, cuz it's our best assets. 4. Avoid anything baggy and fluffy on the narrow waist, emphasize its narrowness with belts and rolled up sleeves. 5. A-line skirt and dresses are our friends. 6. V shaped collar and high waisted jeans are the most flattering 7. 3:13 that pose you need to learn What about the shoulders?
I normally hate these kinds of videos. They are usually clones of each other and the styles way too trendy and limited. THIS video I love. This is one of the very few that I can relate to and actually see myself wearing some of these outfits. Well done!
Great video! Would also love to see tips on how to balance a top-heavy inverted triangle with overly large bust. It is hard when you are a modest person to find clothing to fit large gymnast/swimmer shoulders with short neck plus large bust - and then have to balance against no curves from the waist down. :| Love all your videos - have learned a lot! Kudos to you and your site :)
My measurements are 36-26-40 and I'm SHORT so I have such a hard time finding clothes that look right, especially for professional office settings. Thanks for the video!
I like A line cut dresses and skirts as when I wear pencil skirt I wear shirt with some ruffles on it to balance the look of my hip Skinny jeans is my favorite and I always accessorize it with scarf 🧣 and nice short jacket
DHARMIBEN RADHANPURA theoretically we should wear cigarette jeans or, even better, jeans that starts getting wider under the knees... for me cigarette jeans are okay, but hard to find. that's why I usually go for the skinny ones, which make my tights look ginormous, but at least I try going for darker colors, in order to draw the attention away from my legs a bit
These styles can work sometimes, a lot depends on the color, shape, and fabric texture. Plain black with strong sturdy fabric works best on me. =) Boyfriend jeans can look nice rolled up a tad to show off the ankle.
I think she looked better in her jeans than in the dark bottom outfits, these made her 5 years older. Also, Im not sure dressing a pear in skinny jeans is the best idea (Im somewhat of a pear myself). 🍐🍐🍐
I know this is to improve how clothes look on a pear figure, but she looks beautiful either way... kinda shows that we are insecure when really everyone see's you as lovely lol
What if I like to showcase my massive hips tho👀 I highkey like wearing tight coloured pants. With boots. But I do like my jackets. One of my fav styles is a tucked in white top with coloured pants. And boots.
As a pear shape I love my thicker bottom. I don't like the idea of concealing with dark colors the already eye catching parts of our body (the bum, hips and thighs. I think it should be backwards. Keep the waist looking small with dark colors and bold prints but keeping the bottom the best focal point with light bottoms.
I am 19 and have pear shaped body.. Below the waist, I am really heavy like above the waist is one person and bottom is another... Thigh, butt, calves everything is heavy and also have ugly knee.. Your suggested outfit is really nice but I wanted to dress like my age.. Cute, pretty and comfortable with confidence... Please help me with this 😓... Please please please. Please suggest some ideas.. Look forward to your positive response... 🙌
Try pin up ,vintage or rockabilly(if you are more daring) these style are feminine yet you will feel like a women and go well with pear and hourglass bodyshape (the others too can pull it off ,very well even plus size). You can check on youtube cherry dollface ,PinupDollAshleyMarie,The Pinup Companion and Lily Jarlsson these women have their own cute style or check pinterest for ideas (i think these style will boost your confidence) ;)
how about pear shape front and back aswell, my problem is my belly sticks out one way and my bum sticks out the other, I always look pregnant, i'm a pear shape all round with a small chest, my belly is bigger than my chest so I can't go by chest size Ihave to go by waist size or hip size.
Im Asian pear shape and very short. I dont like black. I live in tropical where its summer all the year. 6month of rainy summer and the rest is dry summer. That's why i dont find this tips helpful even if its good tips. Would u do bright color summer petite pear shape tips?
She is so pretty even the "wrong" outfits she still looks amazing!
I have a very similar body to hers, and I've always been extreamly insecure about my hips. But when I saw her, and saw the comments of people saying how beautiful she is, I became extreamly happy!

Me too!
Sarah Hansen It's those fault who creat you those insecurities!! Wear what you want!! Body shaming is the WORST
Omg same I struggle a lot with my wide hips and I always wear long cardigans or just something to hide it but now I’m slowly just starting to accept myself i dont know it’s nice to read your message and relate to you.
I love big hips ...and you look better with a guy besides you cutie..I love big hips and nice legs and feet
She's beautiful. Thank you for a 'real video' with real people and their own closet!
I think she looked wonderful in the before and after! So pretty
Here’s my problem as a pear: I don’t like the feminine shapes that best suit me, that’s not my style.
Cosigning for me most of the time. ( I feel femme about 20% of the time.)
Angela Dorau What suits is what you are comfortable in!!
Nadiya Nanoha oh everyone's comfortable in a pyjama.. be chill and try something new
nachaphuma Wow, I don't even have a pajama:))) I have different clothes that I chose based on my opinion, not someone's insecurities.
I agree! Pear styles always tell you to wear flowy skirts and dresses and dark bottoms. Those look matronly to me. My style is more colorful and tighter tops.
The way you presented was really excellent! Less talk but full of visuals! Great work!
I really like her "before" outfits, actually!
I personally preferred the “before” outfits.
just like me
😂😂😂same sis
i think style and body shape are a different thing, i liked the style in the first ones more sometimes, but her body looks better in the after ones
She looks good in everything she wears 💕
The model is beautiful! I would also recommend wide waist belts, about 3" wide. They do WONDERS. They can be leather or something in a more stretchy, comfortable material. I'm not exactly thin but no one ever thinks I'm not thanks to waist belts 😂
BUt they go right up under my BIG BOOBS which I do not want to empathize.
@@donnaleeah5075 so you should use the thinner one then😊😊
This one was really good. I've looked at pear information many times and no one has ever mentioned the sleeve length. Great point.
Thank you, thank you!! Finally a real pear model... kinda like myself!Good tips and wearable outfits👍👍👍
Happy New Year🐶
i love the before and after together, it lets us see the differences. Visual is always the best way to learn. Great video - thank you x

Victoria has her model pose down! Looks wonderful and she has confidence!

Beverlee Ann Desylva Check out Justine Leconte's channel. She has some fab tips for all body types, including apple-shaped bodies.
Am totally into the pear-shaped bod, and as such- you look like you are put together really well in the diff outfits.
Thanks for the great ideas. I now have an idea of the styles I should be shopping for.
I loved these outfits. They were actually modest ones I would wear!
She looked much thinner in "after" outfits. Since I'm a pear-shaped woman, I will try some of these styling hacks. Thanks!
So it seems to me that your videos are either a hit or a miss. And they are either a SERIOUS hit or miss. This one was most definitely a hit!! All of your outfits were cute and stylish, yet still hit the motherly aesthetic! You genuinely got a like from me!
Thank goodness...a naturally shaped model! Thanks so much!
As a pear I only wear tight clothing...never have i worn baggy top or a line skirts...im super pround of my body 33- 26- 38,5
Ok I'm jealous with your measurements and proportion. Mine is smaller but not in a good proportion 😥😥😥
Omg..i have the same measurement!! D:)

wear whatever you want because you’re beautiful!
Your videos are amazing:) There is loads of fashion youtubers out there but you seem the most cheerful and kind one:) Keep doing what you're doing:)
It's always dark colours of clothes and shoes. I want color and flowers!
Then wear them on your top half and keep the plainer dark colours at the bottom half. It will balance your shape.
Fantastic channel! So informative. I learned a lot on how I should be wearing clothes.
Do a video for short women+pear shaped body. Height range 5.0-5.3?
yes please
oh thank you so much for the video!
my body type doesn't fit my sense of style though :( for instance I love baggy shirts & skirts & knee highs but since my body is pearl shaped, I probably make myself look much bigger ahh

Yeah I really liked the outfit after , they really supported her body.

they're both so pretty!!! Also, being a mother makes her even more beautiful :)
Great tips :) And the model is beautiful!!!!
Ive never been really into the horizontal lines much.. but it’s a good thing! Pears rock
Great tips for pear shaped women.
I love you Giadre! Your videos are very precise!
Dark bottoms. Monochromatic also good (Casual look). Got it.
I’m so happy I find your channel
Happy to hear that! :)
Great video, Giedre! I know similar rules apply to an hourglass figure, but would love to see your take on it, sometime!
Hi, can you do some for inverted triangle?
I'm a pear so absolutely loved this!! 👍
Plus i've subscrbed!
Make a vedio for curvy body
Will you please make a video with strawberry shaped body???
Tbh, she looked beautiful in all of them..
I like A line cut dresses and skirts as when I wear pencil skirt I wear shirt with some ruffles on it to balance the look of my hip
Skinny jeans is my favorite and I always accessorize it with scarf 🧣 and nice short jacket
Thank you for the tips Giedre! Your videos are definitely different and fun :)
Love this show!
She looks great in all of them! :o
Where do I buy these cute outfits?
Hey..can you please do a video on..How to find a perfect pair of jeans for pear body shape....can we go with boyfriend jeans and skinny jeans?
DHARMIBEN RADHANPURA Perfect jeans - those you like. There are no rules!!
DHARMIBEN RADHANPURA theoretically we should wear cigarette jeans or, even better, jeans that starts getting wider under the knees... for me cigarette jeans are okay, but hard to find. that's why I usually go for the skinny ones, which make my tights look ginormous, but at least I try going for darker colors, in order to draw the attention away from my legs a bit
bootcut jeans for pear shape
I'm a pear shape, I cut off my (tapered leg) jeans to turn into capris they look far better
These styles can work sometimes, a lot depends on the color, shape, and fabric texture. Plain black with strong sturdy fabric works best on me. =) Boyfriend jeans can look nice rolled up a tad to show off the ankle.
Why are the before outfits so much better? I'm lost is it opposite day
Could you tell me where your black top with the shoulder detail is from? I just love it.. And I love your bubbly personality :-)
And great tips of course!
It's still beautiful :-) And so are you. Thanks for answering!
So much better the before one
Found this extremely helpful!

high waisted jeans are the best for our morphology guys!!!!
Can you do a video on an apple shaped model please
I know this is to improve how clothes look on a pear figure, but she looks beautiful either way... kinda shows that we are insecure when really everyone see's you as lovely lol

Sad to see how most of the clothes gets replaced by darker or black clothes. It would be nice to see more colour among the samples.
greá tips ry clearly demonstrated. THanks!
hello I like your channel, you have many ideas
You should mention wide legs trousers with high waist.
thankyou so much..bless you... we need more videos for pear shaped body. and u are so sweet and beautiful. all videos 💓
The third "before" outfit is literally the first "after" outfit, without the jacket on.
Very useful video. Now I know why my closet doesn’t really suitable for me 😂
I have a pear shaped frame so a lot of the “don’ts” in here , I already don’t - l love the dresses in this vid 😁❤️❤️

I want video of Punjabi suit
I have a hard time tucking in my shirts and blouses because my torso isn't quite as long as my legs.. and I'm also a pear shape. The struggles..
