- This video is answering how to look taller and improve your look while flattering feminine body shape.
I'm using clothes from Inga's wardrobe to show the ways how to look taller, pretty and feminine. Please note, that Inga is a petit lady and she prefers wearing high heels, therefore you will see them a lot in this video.
I hope you can adopt favourite tips to yourself!

Thank you! I'd love to watch one about how to style with flats. Although heels elongate the legs, not everyone can wear them :)
erika lazo one thing I would say is if you want to wear flats with a dress or skirt then the hem should be mini skirt length (half way up calf) to best balance out the body and not cut it in half. If wanting to do it with trousers always opt for high waisted, and never skinnier than straight cut. As a short person with sore feet I find these make me look taller but it's worth just experimenting as your body shape also impacts how your clothes show shortness.
Your videos are very helpful! I love that you showcases "ordinary people" like the rest of us so we can all relate and learn some tips and tricks suited to our body types.
You're doing awesome!! Love you channel 👍👍👍
O
please do more videos on feminine bodytypes!
your modell here, she is very pretty :)
Loved the new text on why you are changing the outfit, this is way better than guessing. I would love a video on clothes for vacation or trip away day to night.
Thoroughly enjoy your videos on looking taller/slimmer. Love the before and after being side by side so the improvement stands out and you can see the 'mistakes' better. Very helpful.
Love your videos with real models! Great tips!
You two look like you are having so much fun!
Oh lovely! Could you do one for someone who has to do work outdoors or has a more active lifestyle? What kind of skirts to wear when you have a toddler or how to look like a stunnah even when you live on a farm. Absolutely great tips!
I understand the principles, but the problem is that not everyone can wear pumps or heels for a variety of reasons. I'm sure she could wear a knee-length dress and skirt and rock flat or ballerina shoes.
it not a problem at all. you can use only a few of the tips... i hate high heels, so you'll take the other ideias and use it with my normal shoes..:)
these are just suggestions. They are supposed to inspire you, create your own look. Replace the heels if you can't wear them.
Thank you for your amazing videos!)
I love your videos! I've noticed that most of the time you add pumps or another high heeled shoe. It's sadly not possible for me to wear those. Do you think you could do a video about how to style flats so that they look good?
Giedre, you are doing a great job with these videos. Something's I'd like to see is the back view of these outfits and how to make the back view in general look nice too. I just found your channel and look forward to viewing more of your videos.
looking good in all the outfits! great tips Giedre
its crazy how such small change make a huuuge difference! Love your videos and simplicity.
I discovered your channel today - what a treasure! You give simple tips everybody can use. Thank you for using "everyday" women that we can relate to. They all look simply fabulous!
Appreciate your message a lot! ♥
very helpful with good samples, thank you
Inga looks beautiful in everything!
When does she get to wear her loafers...or are low shoes unflattering.... Please do video for dressing in low shoes but looking taller
she just did :D
ashu eposi I was gonna say the same! I don’t like wearing high heels everyday but I still wanna look good
Shorten the skirt for one.
@@riechanster I just watched this video and the model was changed into high heels every single time.
@ashu eposi and others- a "low vamp" makes a lot of difference, not only on flat shoes but heels as well. If the shoe covers most of the foot ("high vamp"), it shortens the leg visually and looks unflattering. If the shoe is cut so you can see a good part of the top of the foot, it looks more graceful and flattering. :-)
As I can no longer wear heals I would love to see you make a video with flats.
your videos are great! It's the first time that I really learned something about how to dress better! I always try to figure out what to change on the person's clothes before you do it, it's like a game "guess what needs to be fixed"- and I'm getting better! ^^*
XYuneeX99 I play the same game!
Love these videos
these tips are lovely. you really are a stylist.
Great ideas.
trully helpful!
As short girl these kind of videos help me a lot! Thank you! ❣💓
Your videos inspire me to work with what I have already, you have a wonderful talent, thank you ..
You are so welcome!❤
How about if person is short and can't wear heals ?
Great Video! I can Not wear high heals thou they surely Look Good! Could you give some tips for flat shoes?👍🏻
I really love your vidéos, they are super helpfull. I’m curry type, and « petite », but I feel heel unconfortable. Can you make a video on flat shoes (basket / sneakers / ballerina / ...) ? :)
I'd love to see things for HOT weather for full figured women over 50. You can't add jackets when it's 98 degrees out. :) And also flats/sandals/no leggings. You get the idea - super HOT and Humid for 8 months out of the year.
Dear Giedre I had to stop the video to read the sentences describing the styling ....could you keep it a bit longer time please ? Kisses .....you are always amazing !
Very good stylist!
I could watch you all day long. Music is upbeat too.
fabulous, you are very good at how to dress to flatter body figure. However, i was wondering if the black floral shirt to open 2 buttons from the top to look slimmer on the chests when she without wearing the jacket? and add a scarf on the khaki to look more stylish
Thank you! 😊👍
Awsome!!!!!!!
hi, great video. could you tell me where did she get her "bottines" first boots please there are so beautiful ! plz
I love watching your videos and have learned a lot. I am short (5’2”), plump 😉 and live in a very rural area. I do not work any longer and so I need ideas for a casual look (jeans and comfy shoes), something to fit my retired and more relaxed lifestyle. Can you do a video along those lines? Thanks
Nice video but the hills I can’t wear hills I’m 5’2 any tips pls
Do you have a video on how to roll up sleeves without stretching them, and tucking in tops without making the trousers look all puffed up? :)
Also I have trouble wearing heels, even short ones for too long as I have arthritis, is there a way to look taller without wearing them?
I love the shoes Inga is wearing in her second outfit! I need a pair like that! What "type" or "style" would you describe that as being? i.e. what "filters" should I add to get comfortable, flat shoes (with style) AND don't aggravate my bunions and plantar fascia pain?
Hi Giedre,
Really nice work, I think your youtube channel is heading in the right direction, these styling videos with the 'unconventional model' bodies are fantastic! (tall skinny models look good in most things...) I think everyone agrees, us 'normal' people (non-models type bodies) want to know some tips and tricks too! I see that you have now added some notes on your video, because someone commented. Believe me, we want to see more from you and watch you succeed! it is great that you are taking feedback:)
To all the people who keep saying they don't outfits with heels, I have the same issue with most people, I don't like to/ can't wear heels, so it would be great if you could incorporate some styling tips without heels.
In saying that, guys, this is a video on how to look TALLER, of course the best trick to use is to literally add some height! it is probably the one feature that makes creates the biggest impact so of course, she will add heels to each outfit to make the model appear taller!
love it love it love it :)
What is that first skirt with the slit in front?! Where is it from? I must have it!!!!
How about going to picnic what outfit should be wear im small I don’t want to wear sneaker
wow!
WOW!!
cool video! what about making voiceovers instead of text to explain? youre voice is pretty :)
Love your videos, but I don't always want to wear heels.
Holding up shoulders and standing straight always makes a big difference on anyone.
I love the looks but dont like how she has to wear heels in every outfit. Can you show more ideas for petite women with flat shoes or loafers?
Hey! she does not, please read the description :)
take away seems to be : add heels to look taller. Brilliant.
Hi, i like your videos soo much and learnt many things from u 😘 i want to ask you that i have not straight legs how should i wear? Please help me about that because i don't want to wear skirt or dress because of my legs and i feel really ugly 😥 please answer me💖
Dilara Turunç - I just want to say that you are beautiful, truly! Focus on what you *do* feel good about and remember that most people will notice the best part first and may never think that anything is wrong with your legs. We are usually so much more critical of ourselves than anyone else will be! And if you have a “friend” that does pick out a flaw of yours and makes you feel uncomfortable about it, that person is not a real friend and is probably trying to make you feel bad about yourself in order to boost their own low self esteem.
These videos are great, thank you. You are very sweet too.
Very useful as usual, but...you add heels in every outfit. What if someone cannot or doesn’t want to wear heels? At 1m60 / 5’4, I look taller too when I slip into my stilettos 😆
first of all, i really do like your approach. it's helping me think about my own fashion. 1:39 you kind of changed the whole look. she was going for something kind of breezy and urban but then it was changed to something more formal and tight; it is an overall improvement but i would've liked to have seen you keep the same theme but just tighten it up a little. maybe pants on bottom? idk, but it could've been played with for sure.
3:37 that's really neat. i was thinking waistbelt as well. something so simple can change the entire outfit. again, you really like black. more black shoes..bust profile is a little extreme, but given the shirt prob no other way to make it work; maybe she could wear it open with a cool tank underneath? dunno..
6:18 you could prob have just tucked her shirt in and left it at that right? why the giant sweater? always same solution: waist belt or high waist, roll up sleeves, add black pumps; must be more ways to complement a shorter bustier frame.
Style me next! I volunteer! 😄
My problem is my feet. I can only wear flat flat shoes and usually ugly so I’m dressed from there up but ruin every outfit with the shoes.
It's obvious that pumps flatter everyone's looks, but I can't wear them for over 2 hours.
But... petit can't wear sport shoes???
Would love to see more for women 50+. Dressing for the mature lady is hard. Thank You
Hi you look amazing. How and what did you do? You look so skinny.
Love your videos.
Always with high heels 👠
I think the high waisted skirt showed off her tummy. A v-neck blouse is most elongating.
I wish you could dress me so much :'(. Just stalked you, you live in Copenhagen and I live in Stockholm. Can i be your model once :')).
Kisses from Russia!
Am i the only one teenager don't know how to dress? Haha
In other words, those black loafers do NOTHING for any of the outfits--always use a slimmer shoe/boot/pump.
Сплошные лодочки, как будто другой обуви не существует
I don't agree
Befores: free girl with a swag
Afters: uptight school teacher
Nothing wrong with being yourself petite, fat, skinny...wear what you like
Love your videos tho
New Life - I agree. I do follow some of these tips, but years of wearing heels has ruined my feet - not worth it! I am 4’11” and I own it! It’s part of who I am. 😎 Let’s face it: if I wear 4” heels, I’ll still be short! 😂 I love wearing cute outfits, but I just have to make them work with flats and that’s OK. Better than getting foot surgery!
