Thank you Nicole, she really is, isn't she? I'm so excited to get started now, ideas are brewing and evolving - once I'm back in my craft room, I'll be on it! :)
She has indeed Liz, so inspiring, I'm itching to get started on mine now, but will have to wait until I'm back home at the weekend - watch this space! :)
Thank you Annie for your video and sharing this beautiful doll that Bea made with us. She is absolutely beautiful ,really well done Bea and she is definitely made for you Annie, I thought that when you gave us a sneaky peek at the waffle afternoon. She is Annie !!.
Wow she is beautiful. I don’t feel sooo bad about wining Gaby’s Victoria now. A fab creation Bea 👏👏👏. It’s so exciting to see you opening your mail / swaps 👏😎💜
Isn't she?! What an inspiring start to this project isn't it? I am a bit daunted at the thought of making a doll for Gaby, but she's such a sweetie she'll be lovely about it and appreciate my efforts no matter how it turns out! :)
@ I think like all of us that she will be pleased to be a swapster and your doll will be made with the same amount of joy and love. I think you could go a little bit crazy for Gaby (Steam Punk springs to mind - pardon the pun 😆) 😎💜
Where are you based Maggie? If you're in the UK maybe you could join us next time, or if not, you could start something similar where you are - let me know, maybe I could help to get you started via the FB group or Discord :)
Isn't she just?! I'm gong to scan the pattern when I get home and put it in Discord for people to download, would love to see a whole tribe of little dolls appearing :)
Well, amazing. Bea has done a grand job and those colours are fabulous. I look forward to seeing how you get on with making yours. I think I could cope with the body, arms and legs, but I know I’d end up with a floppy head!!! A few tips would be great.
Didn't she?! I have a couple of tips, two different ways to do the head that would help to stop it flopping, I'm going to show the making of both, but of course the video won't go out until Gaby has received the doll, so it may be a while :)
Ah funny enough we were just saying the other day that we both have an Oo-er Box that we never used and I have another ready for Johnny to take when we meet up in a few days - so watch this space and Johnny's channel to see how that goes :)
Wow such a lovely doll! Bea has outdone herself and hippy chick looks amazing. Any chance of getting a copy of the doll pattern ? Yes I am being cheeky.
She's amazing isn't she, what a fab start to this new adventure! When I get home at the weekend, I'm going to scan the pattern pieces and I'll put it in Discord so you can download it xo
oh my goodness!! She's brilliant!! I'm rather envious. Are you going to take this swap wider into the discord community? I would love to particpate in such a swap!
Isn't she just! yes I was thinking we could definitely do this again and give more people a chance to participate, once we've tried it out this first time - mind you, I think it needs to be a small group each time, and really between members of the community who know and trust each other, perhaps have swapped stitcheries before or whatever, as obviously this is a lot more than sending a square or tag to someone. Another consideration is the cost of postage, which is why we kept this to UK only. Possibly we could come up with a doll or other little make that would go in a "large letter" box ( like the ScrawlrBox one for example, which would make it more affordable. I'll put my thinking cap on and see what we learn through the course of doing this first project and we'll see what we can come up with for the new year. Meanwhile, of course you are more than welcome to make contact with other community members yourself and arrange something similar, no reason why not - I just would advise keep it manageable and stick to people you know and trust for a project like this. If you have any ideas or want to discuss, please do pm me in Discord Carrie xo
She's absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to see what you create too, Annie.
Thank you Nicole, she really is, isn't she? I'm so excited to get started now, ideas are brewing and evolving - once I'm back in my craft room, I'll be on it! :)

Ah funny enough we were just saying the other day that we both have an Oo-er Box that we never used and I have another ready for Johnny to take when we meet up in a few days - so watch this space and Johnny's channel to see how that goes :)
