Oh good! A big fabric project with all of these cool techniques. I have done some of them at one time or another. I am anxious to follow this. Good luck!
Hi Suzie sounds like a great project 😀 as a quilter I’d add the seam allowance to each square/ rectangle you make so your overall wall hanging would be as per your plan .
What an interesting technique Sue, thanks for sharing your inspiration, I will look foward to seeing how this project progresses, I always love your artsy stitchy pieces :)
Wow some thing completely new to me I can't wait to see them stitched I love the elephant. I won't be able to join in with this project but trust me I will be watching to see your creations ✨
Hi Suzie. Never heard of Angelina fibres before, but on UA-cam everyday's a school day! I'm interested to see how your wall hanging comes together. Hadn't come across the Susan Stein book, but I'm always treating myself to books from WOB, so will look out for that. Those silk leaves look good too. You see, I watch these videos, then think 'I need to buy that', 'I need some of those' ... 🤦 Val
Hold on! Your 12x12" will be 12.5"x12.5" when you make them. Your 6" squares will be 6.5" squares when you make them. I sure hope you haven't cut your squares already (havent watched thr video yet) or your hanging will be smaller than you want. Well hell! I just got rid of all my Angelina fibers a couple years back.😢
Hi Marei, yes they will shrink by 1/2 an inch which is fine as it's going to be big enough I think, I may need the help of a quilter when it comes to putting it all together so don't leave me 😳 sorry about the Angelina 😉
@suzieqmakes not to beat a dead horse, but you should cut your 12" squares down and your 12x18" pieces down or they won't fit together. 2 of your 6" blocks will only be 11.5"...not 12 when sewn together, and 3 of the 6" blocks will be 17"...not 18.
@mareimontalvo2725 ooh blooming heck! See, I knew a quilter was needed 😕 OK so should I make sure the designs don't go to the edge so I can adjust when it comes time to stitch together?
interesting new project, can't wait to see how it goes
Always learn something new when I watch you.❤
So nice of you Rhonda, Im glad you did 😀
Very interesting. I think it is going to be a great project. I look forward to watching it unfold.
You and me both Connie, long way to go yet 😉
This sounds like a very interesting project. I look forward to to following your progress.❤❤
Awesome! Thank you Julie, praying it all fits together in the end 🙏😂
Looks interesting sue ❤
Always love your wall hangings ...Thank you🌻💕
Thank you Chris! 😊❤️
Hi Sue, this looks like it's gonna be a really fun project! TFS 😊

What a wonderful project Suzie and I love it so far. I didn’t know how to use Angelina fibres so thank you for the demo.💕
You are so welcome Elizabeth, I was amazed I remembered how to use them 😁

I'm hoping it will be a lovely finished hanging, it will take a few months but like I said, no rush 😊

Thanks for the tip Nicola! I'm actually not that fussed about how big it turns out, just going to enjoy the making 😉

Brilliant, so glad to have you follow along ❤️
Brilliant! I’m digging out my Angelina fibres now :) xx
I keep forgetting how much fun they are Tori!
Love the Angelina pieces. I would love to see how that stitches.
It's very easy to stitch Sue, it doesn't set solid so the needle glides through

Thank you Lyn! 🤗
And today's rabbit hole is .....
Thank you Sue. Loving your new project. Now what on earth did I do with my Angelina fibres and rubber stamps?
You made me laugh with that comment Sue 😂 go on, get those fibres out!
@@suzieqmakes I can't find them. I know I have loads somewhere 🤣
@suebartlett1509 they are at the back of the drawer you havnt been into for 6 months! Guaranteed 😂
Thats amazing!! Hugs ❤
Thank you! 😊
Hold on!

@suzieqmakes yes. Keep your designs away from the edges on the squares just to be sure. And I meant 11.5" not 11" (the 2 squares sewn together)
@mareimontalvo2725 right, ok, be on standby when the construction stage starts 🚧 😭 😁
