Gktech Z33 350z Rear Subframe Slip In Collars - Install

- The GKTECH Z33 350z/G35 rear subframe collars are used to eliminate axle tramp and to also tighten up the rear end giving more precise control of the vehicle under harsh driving conditions. The OEM bushes are designed more for comfort than performance and by filling the voids within the factory subframe bushes it makes the subframe much more "as one" with the car. Noise isn't drastically effected compared to going to solid subframe bushes and these inserts are far easier to install than going to a solid subframe bush.

The bottom rear bushings on my g35 did not want to slip right in. A lot of lubrication and and impact gun helped a lot to get them to seat into position. It seemed like only one side of the bushing insert was having clearance issues but using the factory washer to tighten them into place did the trick. Don't forget to lube those thangs. I'm happy with the results and ease of install! Great product.
Thank you for the feedback!
I had the same problem. I think the rubber bushings break down over time and the inner part of the bushing shifts to one side. I was able to get it in by hitting it in part way with a deadblow, then torquing it down with the black part. No need to impact, it went in easily.
I'm already on solid diff bushings and I do notice a bit increase in noise, but I also installed coilovers so not sure how much these contributed.
love video and product did mine 48hrs before video posted but thanks.
I still do not own any vehicles you make products for but the entertainment is wonderful
You’ll need mm sizes 12, 14, and 19. That is all :)
I am wondering if these would work if my bushings are worn out and possibly damaged would this stiffin them up? Or do I need all new bushings?
Very helpful for worn bushings, does wonders to be honest.
@@gktech awesome thank you!
Do these work for aftermarket bushings?
They are only designed to be used with the OEM rubber bushings.
How do these compare to metal collars?
We have found near-identical results, with a little less vibration!
Do you guys make these for the 370z?
They are on their way, feel free to send us an email to get on the waiting list!
Damn, ya'll straight up ripped off Z1
Hey there, whilst multiple brands share the same concept ours is definitely not the same. For starters, we provide an 8pc kit which ensures's minimal movement in the OEM bushings and we've made them from 90sHA polyurethane so that there is no increase to NVH.
@@gktech the Z1 kit is also 8 pieces...and looks identical. Come on, just admit you knocked it off.
@@drizzetsrevenge so what? They took the same design and made it even more better without introducing NVH. It is like saying other companies make air intakes similar to Z1. It can look exactly the same but material is always different. Why reinvent the wheel when it is already done.
I have both kits, The Z1 is aluminum & Gktech are made out of polyurethane. Both unique in their own righteousness. Competition on similar products breeds better products dumbass
you should want competition in any market
