G35 OWNERS & DRIFTERS The differential bushing on my g35 was easily removed using this gk tech special tool, but using the same tool to install the solid bushing wasn't as easy as this video portrays. It's still possible but you have to install the bushing the opposite way that the video shows as there is no room for the bushing to go in on the outside of the subframe due to the spare tire carrier. Use a huge washer(on the outside of the subframe) to pull the bushing in using the same method but instead of pulling the bushing in, you'll push it in from the diff side, make sure it lines up square and follow all of the other directions in this video - lubing and sanding!!!
Hey, due to the indent on the install tool, the solid bushing doesn't end up flush with the end of the bore. Is this intended? can the diff cover mate with the bushing this way?
Sorry, it looks we missed adding this reference into the video, you do need to flip the tool and pull it in that bit more to sit flush, we will make a note on our assembly guide moving forward, sorry guys!!

Hi mate, if you email sales@gktech.com.au they will show you how to use the tool correctly. It is designed so that the bushing will sit flush.
