Gktech Z33 350z V35 G35 VQ35DE Intake Manifold Spacer - Install

- An easy way to add more torque and HP to your mighty VQ35DE is to get more air into it. For years intake manifold spacers were an easy way to do this but we were never really happy with what was available on the market. We've designed a tapered spacer to allow more air to the front cylinders which results in an improvement in both mid range torque and in top end power.
A common issue when using a spacer like this is that the center bolts can either leak or crack the OEM manifold. We've included custom spacers to combat this and with this manifold you'll find a brand new lower and upper gasket to suit.
- CNC Machined 6061-T6 aluminium spacer
- Includes all bolts, washers, spacers and gaskets required for easy installation
Vehicle Compatibility:
- Nissan Z33 350z
- Nissan V35 Skyline
NOTE: Only fits the VQ35DE motors. Will not fit the VQ35HR found in late model 350z's/V35's

“Why did you get an intake spacer!?”
“Idk, i just really liked the narration for the how-to video!”
It puts me off buying
This kit looks more complete than the Z1 kit. sheesh good job guys.
I had a “professional” install The super lock lower arms and the upper control arms. He fucked it up something fierce, and I find myself installing everything myself after a complete tear down. For anybody who’s listening if you’re gonna pay someone to do it make sure they know what’s up. On a positive note, I installed GKtech subframe collars today 🤙
ProTip:
Take painters tape, and put a strip on each bolt you take out with the number of that bolt that is found on the FSM or their instructions. It makes it easier if you ever have to put the stock bolts back in, or if you are just removing the manifold for maintenance reasons.
Also:
If you disconnect the TB, make sure to do the throttle body relearn procedure or take off the battery for a couple hours so the ECU can relearn. :D
Probably the best demonstration video I’ve seen of all time
Thank you! We try!
much want. center risers are a dope addition and i really like that y'all provide ALL the bolts/studs
I was in the fence on this so thanks for helping out my decision
YES!!!!! Been hoping you guys would make a plenum spacer!! Next on the order list for Project Zulu for SURE!
You caught the rubber oil fill piece in between the two halves of the plenum. Common mistake.
awesome product, I've been waiting for u guys to make one of these:)
I’ve never laughed so hard for an install video
I've got the liquid type gasket in a squeeze tube..
It might not be able to do what your rubber seals can do..
but that's all i have to work with right now,
I might get back to you on that...
yet another day that I comment on a video for a part to a car I don’t have till gktech blocks me
@Romulus III We appreciate you guys nonetheless. MVP's regardless!
holy fuck this video is amazing lmao even has an installation guide in detail!
The strut bar install is different on the g35
I’m screaming at the s13 comment 🤣
@4:10 what kind of socket is needed to remove the studs?
at 4:11 what size did you use to remove studs
You should try putting 3 onion rings on
What a crack up.. 📺 👀 🤣
I’ve heard ppl say the spacer on the rev up is a loss in power? Anyone else hear this? I’ve heard unless you are adding the mrev2 with it it’s useless… I have a spacer… do I just not put it on?? Getting dyno tuned for bolt ons soon.. so I Wana make the best of it
no power gains from this mod.
@@tomr1107 it increases the volume of the plenum… if the computer compensates properly then yes there has to be power gains… look at my videos.. natural aspirated vq before the tune making 295wheel hp.. bet now that I’m tuned and have more mods I’ll hit 330wheel
@@Turtlefarm 35 whp from just a plenum spacer is impossible. You will see 10hp at the peak of the power curve around 4.5k-6.5k rpm. You need to remove the cats and get a tune for noticeable gains.
