It amazes me how many people don't think this way. You need to always have your head on a swivel. A threat may not always present itself to you but you better believe it's around you all the time.
Hi Tim, I ❤ this & I will tell you why: First off thank you for contributing to my freedom, secondly I grew up with my Family in NYC (est. 1990) when 911 happened it drastically changed the entirety of the 5 Boroughs in NYC & the place I had always felt comfortable in was now a major terror target.....to say I was not bothered by that would be untrue. Well I moved out of NYC much later (2017) but let me tell you that I personally & I only speak for myself that hypervigilance kept me alive & thats all I will say about that but it had become a very potentially Dangerous city/urban environment. I Think it's cool you are schooling these people on basics of being aware & keeping safe, I believe most people have no idea what safety or threats even look like and that example you gave about the Sikh people being misidentified well.......I can tell you I've actually witnessed something exactly like that in real life except under more severe scenario. I Think physical safety is just the tip of the iceberg if people want to understand how to carry themselves better when it comes to staying safe but if you ask me cultural awareness, self defense, observational skills, threat identification, having an escape plan & more are those other things that will keep you alive as well. I Watched this video twice now and I really liked it. 👍
Also avoid parking close to vans, if possible. But if a van is parked near u, pay close attention to it, incl. its occupants. Vans, esp. older model vans, are the most common used vehicles in abductions and kidnappings.
My default frame of mind when I'm outside my house is akin to being in a western movie with a splash of medieval dark age. In alot of ways the world hasn't changed much at all. Growing up in the hood sure did help to reinforce this mindset. Be polite to everyone, but maintain your vigilance.
Be polite to everyone, but maintain your violence. That's how my mind read that before I finished reading it lol. But that way is true too. Civilize the Mind, make Savage the Body.
I have always had social awareness ( where people's hands are, physical details, assumptions, etc), but I have never gone into this much detail. I might only spend a minute or two at observing them ( or a couple times, over the course of an hour or two), but it is primarily just because I am interested in who they are. I'm not doing it because I feel threatened. I think I will take these tips and wisdom with me and put it towards what I am already doing; observation. If I need it to prevent an act, I'll use it then too. Thanks for the video.

I have a family member who had to teach people in the psychiatric medical world(sorry to be vague)about the Car thing, it's something they have always done, but was highlighted by a patient doing what Tim was speaking about and finding out a LOT about one of the Docs he fixated upon, the scary thing in that particular case is that this VERY Charismatic and forceful, INCREDIBLY dangerous Person, then convinced their family members, young and old to follow this Doc's Car a LITTLE bit further every Day, then eventually found out where they lived, luckily their room was searched and the DETAILED, EXTREMELY disturbing plan they had for that Doc was discovered before they could sic their family member(who was totally under their control) on the Doc. People tightened up how much their vehicles gave away about them...for a while. Now we (they) randomly walk into Doc's offices etc and tell them what they've picked up about them that morning in the parking area...that keeps people keen!. Thanks Tim, and thank you for all the amazing things you've done and continue to do!.
Absolutely impressive stuff. I mean, a person with a modicum of smarts will (or should) know all this. But, as a person who doesn't have to think about this all day, everyday, (and that's the most of us) this is important. I certainly appreciate it being said or read, much like the person who says "be safe" instead of "see ya". It's amazing to me how the average American is the furthest away from this kind of mindset. And to that I say, thank you to all those who allow us to have such a lax mindset. Sincerely. Don't go looking for trouble, yes. But to think that trouble couldn't come to you is just naivete. That's where I say, onus is on you to be ready for when that time comes. I would add that, training in this kind of mindset also helps you to not stand out as a person who has this kind of mindset. Fortune favors the prepared mind.
Really great information. I'm sharing this video with all my friends. One thing about stickers on the windshields for gated entry, those are not read by cameras. These are RFID tags read by long range access control radio frequency readers such as those made by HID. Other than that, your video has some excellent advice and information!
One thing that I do quite often is actually scan while thinking like a criminal so I can spot the threats early. That said, there have been two times in my life where I was completely off guard in places where I should have been armed and on high alert aaaaand I got jumped. The first time I managed to run away after taking some hits and the second time I managed to talk my way out while giving up my phone and money.

Jogging with headphones...🙄
CyBerserk good one, I see that All the time. They have zero chance to prevent an attack
The phones are a problem for people walking and driving.
@@SteviePaints I always found people walking and driving being a problem while I drive and check my phone.
I like to pretend rob these people to teach them a lesson. I get off on it and they learn something, win win.
I just wanted to say that these are the most realistic and educational videos I have ever seen on UA-cam. I use your drills at home and try to educate and train as much as possible using your channel.
You guys are awesome.
mate......u made my day by knowing the difference between a Sikh n a Muslim (not to say there is anything wrong being one) ...... even though the world's connections have improved with social media.... there are still n will always be many ignorant idiots who think that all turban wearing ppl are "bad" ...... love learning about Situational Awareness n keep sharing that with my family...... u have for yrself a new subscriber.....Cheers all the way from "OzTralia"
Great video.
I get your concerns that our Founders did not intend the 2A to be used by many people that abuse it today but hope you understand that it should not affect the rest of us who are part of the legacy of Patriotism and common sense.
Getting bullied and picked on growing up helped me develop a bit of situational awareness.
These videos will save my life , thank you so much! 🙏
This dude saw the show approaching car out of the corner of his eye at 4:45, and was all over it. Incredible.
Always "FIT" in.. and Be average and Do not get noticed but know your are the badass in the entire world.
This gives really good insight in the type of soldier and mentality that the green berets are and have. Warrior/spy/phsycologist/fill in the gap.
Also avoid parking close to vans, if possible. But if a van is parked near u, pay close attention to it, incl. its occupants. Vans, esp. older model vans, are the most common used vehicles in abductions and kidnappings.
Veteran detectives are incredibly well versed in this
I just completed Sheepdog Response: Protector 1. It changed everything.
I always enjoy learning from you I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Christopher Flaherty how hopeless lol
Thank you for this information 😎🤙
Good explanation Tim. To an unaware and untrained civilian some even in my own family, I’m a paranoid, crazy, and a control freak...
True that
Wow Thank You Tim!
My default frame of mind when I'm outside my house is akin to being in a western movie with a splash of medieval dark age. In alot of ways the world hasn't changed much at all. Growing up in the hood sure did help to reinforce this mindset.

@@deputydang8291 I was going to say exactly this haha.
@@StoneColt45 Its a great quote
Be polite to everyone, but maintain your violence. That's how my mind read that before I finished reading it lol. But that way is true too. Civilize the Mind, make Savage the Body.

Profiling and good judgment is the fundamental element for our survival
I have always had social awareness ( where people's hands are, physical details, assumptions, etc), but I have never gone into this much detail. I might only spend a minute or two at observing them ( or a couple times, over the course of an hour or two), but it is primarily just because I am interested in who they are. I'm not doing it because I feel threatened. I think I will take these tips and wisdom with me and put it towards what I am already doing; observation. If I need it to prevent an act, I'll use it then too. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the great work Tim.
I’ve worked in LE but now work in healthcare. I do this all the time and try to figure out what’s going on where I am. I’ve gotten pretty decent at it.
Who cares
How long were you in LE? What do you do now in healthcare?
Thank you.
Damn, you know he practices what he preach when he immediately turns his head on that yellow Camaro that came in frame at the 4:47 mark.
If you have followed him in the past, you would have him talked about how he and all his special forces brothers are always on situational awareness after exterminating terrorist and such over the years. He has stated that he and others are always at risk to hits here in the U.S.. There is a security back behind the SUV watching their 6., He sees a car coming in that has blacked out windows- of course he threat assessment antenna is up. Note the guy standing to Tim's left sees Tim focusing on something, then this guy starts paying attention. The yellow car is a 4-door sedan
That’s a Dodge Charger dude
TIM KENNEDY SPEAKING FACTS 💪👍👌

Do they know each other? yes. Are they possible lovers? yes.
@Star Lord best friends with benefits
Thank you!!!
He is so right, I thought it was my anxiety for looking at people and thinking things but he said what I can't but really want to, I notice extremely when someone just stands out.
Great information. I make it a game throughout the day!!!
At 3:50 a dude that pulled up was looking like he was up to no good in the backround...Thought for sure it was a test to see if anyone from the group caught on..
Most excellent trainer I’ve come across
Awesome!!!.... anyone else notice the guy in the white polo?
The guy who walked behind the van earlier in the video? Yup!
having situational awareness as parents and especially for men are really important
Fitting they're in a Walmart parking lot.
That's where I got that same t-shirt he's wearing.
Probably not....it's probably a ranger up or grunt style shirt
He definitely got that at target
That’s from target
I got a black nasa shirt from walmart idk if they have the grey and blue
Definitely from target
Women getting out of or in their car would be a dangerous situation in an unfamiliar and poorly lit surroundings!!!!Tim is very good at his job!!!! His videos are so informative and helpful!!!
"the citizens enjoy the party because they believe the walls keep them safe. The soldiers watch the walls because they know it's not the walls that keep them safe."
I so very much appreciate you!
Very well put!
As a Sikh I can tell you that you are spot on brother. Thanks for the educating your viewers. Much love! ~ Sikh & Destroy
"This is a pretty lit parking lot" Yeah, kinda groovy.
Brilliant on the database part!
"Left of Bang" is a great book on this topic.
Yes, yes, yes.... 100% agree... had my wife read it too.
Thanks!
Great information. I just found your channel and will be following and learning from your experiences. Thank you so much!
It ain't paranoia... it's just good training 😸
Avoiding dangerous places is the best policy
Really great information. I'm sharing this video with all my friends. One thing about stickers on the windshields for gated entry, those are not read by cameras. These are RFID tags read by long range access control radio frequency readers such as those made by HID. Other than that, your video has some excellent advice and information!
Tim 2020. THIS man needs to run this country.
4:46 mid sentence, still scanning the area like a boss
Ive been preaching this to everyone i care about.
Great stuff as usual Ted. Thanks for doing what you do bro.
Imagine looking out your window to see Tim Kennedy walking around your car.
I’ve Been this way of thinking my WHOLE LIFE ….. Great Video …..
*Pulls into Walmart*
"Hmm. Where am I gonna park?"
"WHERE AM I GONNA FIND A GUN!!?"
"Hmm. I wonder what's on sale."
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks!
So basically he’s teaching them how to profile without calling it profiling. Profiling is smart, affective and generally reliable.
If you didn't have Cops looking out for us then you your mom or loved ones could be dead
@@dondon98 did the cops stop 9/11, the boston bombing, or the ohio fbi bombing? What about the mass shootings in Las Vegas, Columbine, Pulse night club, Santa Fe walmart, Charlottesville, Emanuel African Methodist, Aurora movie theater, ...Wait, they didnt?

*I'd love to see a collab video with Tim Kennedy and Clint Emerson. That would be amazing!*
I relly like this video because profiling and situation awareness is an art. It gets me thinking in a different mind set. Krav maga is an Israeli defense that is big on awareness. Israeli solders are amazing. Like an off duty Brazilian cop.
