Bro! I watched it after your comment and yeah that's rare to see someone being honest regardless hyping everything that comes to them. I myself came across bp via rose song gone and I actually liked it. Then love to hate me made me interested in them. It was around 2 years ago I was just preparing for medical entrance back then. Initially I was just grooving with the melody of their songs without paying much attention. But when I started to know bts more I and grew up more I realized what I was even doing.
Being a med student now and looking back, I wish to never look into them. I regret giving them my views honestly. My life being a medico is so hectic already. I need some sort of music to calm me down, relieve my stress, make me cheer up and feel good in myself. That's everything bts already has.
Blackpink songs are adding no value to my life. I stopped seeing their any content after born pink. I just shut it down totally. After long hours of classes, practicals, hectic exams and other things I don't want to listen to something like I'm a bitch boss, I'm rich, I got fame and all that illogical and meaningless crap!

Boracity clocked you for the creative, authentic reactor you are, proud of the tribe!
She has a lot of good videos explaining a lot of the bullshit BTS has gone through with the industry, gives a lot of context to why Army are so protective of BTS and why we all work so hard to support them. She genuinely does such fantastic research and reports on both the ways the industry sabotages BTS and uses them for their own benefit, really puts the facts out there.
But she also has a really interesting perspective, another one of her recent videos was explaining why BTS appeals so much to rock fans despite only using elements of the music genre occasionally. She’s really cool.
Even if you don’t decide to react to her videos, they’re worth watching on your own to understand the context of what’s going on in with both the western and KPop industries. I really think more Army need to see her channel

Some things you've done that've helped me realize you're not like other reactors and you're sincere:
    1) You weren't senselessly fawning over J-Hope at first.
As BoraCity said, a lot of reactors will only focus on the positives or compliment the guys a lot because they want the fandom to support their channel. I remember when you first reacted to Airplane, you were saying how you weren't into people who only rap/sing about material things, wealth, etc. and is this all he does? I really perked up cause I thought: (A) you're actually paying attention (B) this man appreciates quality!!. When you listened to the rest of your album, you even commented about how your opinion on Airplane changed cause you realized he has substance so the meaning of that song was less frivolous, more about appreciating what you have, sometimes it's good to treat yourself, etc.
    2) You gave your honest opinion about BP and even gave them a second chance
See above about needing quality. Thank you.
    3) How you chose to approach getting to know BTS
The fact that you cared about quality (in the content you consume) enough to get to know each member to see what they're bringing to the table as individuals is something I've never seen before. When you said you wouldn't be able to provide an immediate opinion on an album after just an initial listen was also HUGE. It showed me you weren't just trying to churn out videos; you needed to properly listen to the music more than once, sit in your feelings, let thoughts come, research references, etc. And then the actual reviews really convinced me that you're a man of substance. That's a side of you I really appreciate. (:
    4) The range in your reactions
Not everything is OMG SO GREAT WOW! Sometimes you rewind (another indicator that you aren't just about churning stuff out, cause rewinding adds to viewing + editing time), laugh, cry, get quiet, share what's coming to mind, GO GET SHOJU LOL, etc. This tells me your reactions are genuine, not cookie cutter. I will admit that in your latest video of OT7 doing Daechwita when you said Jin really killed his rap I was like "._. oh no is he starting to get on the 'EVERYTHING BTS DOES IS AMAZING' train" cause I didn't think it was THAT good and no shade to him, he's my bias LOL so I'll admit I gave you a bit of a side eye but I figure that's okay, maybe you were just grading on a bell curb. But believe me, I would so much rather hear your honest opinions including things that weren't your favourite, because it only reinforces the fact that you're leading with honesty, dignity, and respect. It means that when you say you like something, you really mean it.
Not every song is the best, not every RUN episode is amazing, not every performance is 100% praiseworthy. I've disliked some of their songs but then they get stuck in my head and they become favourites. LOL Evolving opinions are great too! Okay now I'm rambling lol I'll leave
*** One thing I wish you did in your reactions was make it more obvious which compilation you're viewing and who it was made by (video title + creator). It's kind of obvious with SugArmy, but it can be borderline impossible to tell which video it is. Ditto with other compilations except it isn't shown who the creator is either. These fan videos take a lot of time to assemble and I think they deserve some credit. (:
Still, I love your channel and always look forward to your videos, even when they aren't about BTS. (That North Korea series was great!) I still remember when you had 2K subscribers, I hope you keep the same level of sincerity because it'll really take you far. (:

oh shit one more thing that made me realize your channel was different: the fact that you keep liking + commenting on SugArmy's channel. I know it's part of an ongoing joke to get them to acknowledge you, but it shows that you're an upstanding person who is actively supporting other good channels in this way. Every creator wants people to interact with their videos can it boosts their stats, but I never see them actually doing it with other channels.

I acknowledge they have talent, they work hard and they do quality work but it’s the music for me. If I don’t like like your songs or I think they all sound the same...I will move on! • @Garnishes
      @Garnishes 11 місяців тому +8

i agree especially with looking out for actual detailed commentary (which shows a reactor listens) that's not just the cookie cutter "so awesome!" commentary. hahaha the sowoozoo reaction about how seokjin's rap is so good -- i get ur initial worry too! though i suspect his praise of jin's rap stems from him not expecting jin to actually rap and also due to him becoming a new ARMY-- esp as a new ARMY we tend to be super positive with praises as a way to express our love (rather than as a reactor critiquing something).
But I get what u mean bcos at the start I had ago i had a similar thought about very often hearing reactions that "this song is so good!". was a lil' worried Loui might feel a subconscious need to withhold variations in reactions or express opinions when something isn't as much of his personal cup of tea while still appreciating the artistry from an objective POV (i don't mean being inauthentic, but more of a subconscious reflex to sound as feel-good as possible) so I left a youtube comment to say "don't be afraid to express different levels of how u feel -- perhaps something is more ur cup of tea or u thought a song was only 'not bad' or 'pretty good' (it's normal that not every song lands the same way or that you like every song equally becos we all have different tastes!), or that u prefer Song A over Song B in terms of personal tastes" because such commentary expresses true genuineness. :)
< Btw Loui, if u're reading this, hi!! haha, i think alot of us can see so far u're really genuine! hope u'll always be unafraid to show the nuances of ur reaction to diff songs or content by BTS -- for example if Song A is more ur vibe vs Song B, etc (it doesn't even need to be any critique) -- it could be something like e. g. which songs are ur fave (there cannot logically be ALL faves! ) or which piece of artistry speaks to u the most... or which one wasn't so much of ur personal style yet the reasons u appreciate it objectively etc - it just illustrates the honest reactions even better, and makes it even more satisfying to watch! u're doing great btw!!>
Also, one thing I appreciate about Loui's Jimin 'Set Me Free Pt2' reaction was that he wasn't that much into the autotune used on 1st listen (which shows he isn't afraid to express his genuine thoughts) but he conveys it in a way that's respectful and also not close-minded or jumping into premature conclusions. Just more like a 'ehhhh -- why is there this autotune hmmmm' -- and then when he learnt it was an artistic decision to portray a different 'role/energy' in the song, he mentioned in the next jimin reaction video that he got what its purpose was!
And also i like that Loui doesn't bend over backwards at every single comment or request or 'correction' by viewers
sorry this was a whole disorganised comment hahahaha, i don't have too much energy to edit or make my words sound more cohesive or comprehensible 😅 just wanted to say that i agree what all ur points! glad u worded them out
      😆

your face when she kinda called out reaction channels that aren't genuine by simply showing them not even a minute in is priceless.
we ALL know what we were like when we got into the bts rabbit hole, so real army knows who's genuine and who isn't just by comparison and kinda feeling nostalgic by watching others getting into it too and liking it.
if that feeling isn't there, it's not genuine. simple as that.
you're interested in the lyrics and their meaning, in all the respective members and their individual contributions.
    you're good man.
what she meant by saying they won't post it if they think it's not good quality is, that if they think it's not useful enough for THEM in their eyes, they won't post it even though we're actually just interested in a genuine reaction, not there for any scripted comedy.
in a way she's calling out reacters who pretend to react for the first time but in reality it's all scripted.
then there are the people who, like she said, pretend to go on a journey but all they say is everythings awesome.
why is it awesome!? if you really like something, you should be able to tell someone else about what you like in detail.
there is almost never an indicator that marks a certain spot where they decide to fully embark onto the journey.
they just keep watching videos, bopping their heads and lamely say " cool", " awesome". yeah no.
also fishy, people who immediately lock their videos behind a paid patreon.

There have been many since, including finally having someone fun to watch Run BTS episodes with, and I really lol to those. You are easily one of the most creative and fun to watch of the reactors out there, including your background jazz music and visuals during your talk portions. And what other reactor has danced all the way through an album?
You have nothing to worry about. You keep on keeping on. I’m here for it.

You’re one of my favorite reactors to come out of the Hobi-Jcole collab (and I only have 2 😅). At first I was like, hmm you could get more SEO if your titles had “reaction” in it. But I realized that I really enjoy the way you choose to title, edit, and the content you react. It’s like watching content I would watch anyway, but watching it with a friend (especially the run BTS episodes and the crime stuff). I also really appreciate how you’ve deep dived into BTS as a group and individuals, I’m definitely on the journey with you, and its really heartwarming to see you inspired by the boys and put out more of your own artwork. (I noticed the frequency of your short set pieces increases as you watched and we’re inspired by BTS individuals). Keep at it - sticking with the tribe!

Your channel is the most genuine I've seen. And very organised. I don't think I've seen a reaction channel that does it like you do. Usually, channels would react to like one song per video and not even dive into the lyrics or the meanings of the songs. I was honestly surprised that you would react to songs and videos in one video and not one video each.

  • @stephernoodle
    @stephernoodle 11 місяців тому +2

I’m super wary about reactors after watching all of them follow the “pipeline”- YT to Patreon (“I left my job to watch BTS, please support me 🥺”) and then to Twitch (“I need to get around copyright… and also it will help me put out 20 vids a day with no effort by reacting live!”). I got close to one reactor and was on the highest tier of her Patreon for a year bc I believed she was legitimately army, and then watched her abandon BTS for another fandom once she reached a huge audience and was making tons of money. And another reactor, who I think genuinely truly enjoyed BTS, started accepting money from a K-pop company to react to random new groups, and now his channel is just, “Wow I love this!!” to everything 🥴 it’s frustrating. Even more frustrating is that you see the same armys on all the clout-chasing reactor channels hyping them up. Anyway, you seem legit and I’m enjoying your content, so thank you.

  • @karolinahajduk6892

What makes me enjoy your videos is that you not only react to the music but also want to understand it and encourage the tribe to discuss it with you (as much as YT can allow us to communicate with you). You brainstorm. Talk about lyrics and their meaning, and ask questions in a way that makes me think you look for answers to them in the comment section. The "deep dive" is what makes your channel interesting - because you know that hearing a song is one thing, but to understand it you have to - at least a little - understand the artist that is creating it. How much more it means to listen to D-DAY when you learn about Yoongi as a person. How much more it weight to check mono and indigo when you learn about RM as a leader of BTS? How much harder it hits to listen to JK "Begin" when you understand his bond with his hyungs? Etc. And, to be honest, I planned to re-watch some old BTS content before their reunion in 2025, and joining you on your journey to discover BTS is my way to do it. And is so much fun because I can look at BTS from a different perspective.

The difference between those channels and you, is huge. Since the first reaction to hobi (I didn't know about the astronaut reaction but I did saw that after you mention that 😂) is that you were so funny, very open minded and also very fresh. I have been watching reaction channels for a long time so I KNOW. The majority of those channels who only care about views always try to make it seems that they love everything but they dont try to understand the lyrics, or try to deep dive into their discography, and most of them after a few videos starts a patreon just to get money. They barely talk and they are so boring. I do know that when you do only youtube you need to make some money, in this world, we need money. But what I dont like is that most of those people don't care about bts, some of them watch bts from years and STILL DON'T KNOW THEM AS PEOPLE OR ARTIST, HOW? doesn't make sense at all to me, and most of them take advantage of the "kpop wave" and start to react to 100 of groups without even knowing the members name 💀💀and for me, if you like bts, YOU CAN'T LIKE EVERY KPOP GROUP, its impossible

When I first joined the fandom, i spent first month being a baby UA-cam army, it was easy to slide down the reactors rabbit hole as it made me happy to see people like what I have come to love as well. Didn't take much time to see the pattern though. Reactors don't do stuff anymore that interest them - they do it to cater to a specific audience as they know what words will please them. the bts good to kpop good pipeline became SOOOO common it was crazy. I would see a new reaction channel and i could almost predict what's gonna happen to it - months later, i stand true. The only reactor i have subscribed to after years is you cuz I personally saw genuine interest in you, as i said earlier, you reminded me of myself in my baby army days , spending days going thru lyric videos (i wasn't aware about the downside of lyric videos back then). Thankfully a month later i joined Twitter. And that emoji thing came forward when we were experimenting with a lot of things in 2018 to make sure we stream most effectively for boys on yt (this app has ALWAYS been a hater) so people still think it's real. We've come where we are right now through several trials and errors and coming to a solution just to make sure our boys get everything they want in the world. We do it as a payback for giving us comfort from their art, always thinking of us and they genuinely deserve it. Once something works kpop twt just steals it for their own faves lol. There are a lot of things we're cautious about in army twt - as it hasn't been easy to be where we are rn , we've seen a lot, been through a lot along with the boys and giving someone who doesn't appreciate them genuinely a second of my day ain't it. Boracitymag is very good, you should watch more of their videos if you want to.

Tribe loui is one of the few reaction channels I actually like and respect because you keep it 100 and you’re honest about everything, these days people react to bts for the views/to milk bts and armys with the goal of getting more money and clout. I’ve seen UA-camrs give fake reaction with the hopes of gaining support from armys and then making a patreon just to gain more money while providing little or fake commentary. Also I don’t think armys should be quick to defend a reactor just because they react to bts, the situation with ameere/the Andrew rate supporter is a great example of this, yes that guy reacts to bts but you will never see me defend a reactor that has the opposite views as bts and likes a misogynistic and problematic man like Andrew tate.

I really appreciate how you make your patreon free. It is crazy to me how some reactors who are not fans will ask armys for 20 dollars a month to react to content BTS release for FREE?! It is even worse when they react to documentaries I have already paid to see myself, but now I have to pay someone else to see their reaction if I want to talk to them about it? I do not mind supporting genuine creators on patreon if the tiers are 1-3 dollars because youtube can suck, but any higher than that is ridiculous.

What I like about your channel is that it really feels like a community. Your personality really shines through all your videos and you’re a really creative person, which makes your content even more enjoyable.
Honestly I think you’re setting the bar high in terms of reaction channels, and after following you for a few months I now understand why some people can have bad opinions about some other reaction channels, because those people can’t build a community and their followers aren’t there for them but for the people they react to. I'd say depending on the comment section you can actually see how good a reaction channel is.
If the majority only writes "react to xyz" or "xyz is cute" and nothing else you know that the channel is not worthy to watch.
On the other hand I think that comment sections with longer, more informative comments about ALL of the members and those where army interacts and talks with each other here and there are channels that you can give a try.
Ofc it's always a bit hard to tell in the beginning because there are armys who might still give them a try but after a while you can't really see good comments anymore if they're not a also a good channel. Best example are the channels of these four guys. I've never seen such a comment section full of solos, shippers and boring/cringe comments it's fascinating 😅

i really do appreciate the vibe and space you've made on this channel. it's all fun and there are so many discussions and sometimes even recs i see in your videos and the comments and i love that. i'd recommend watching more of her but ofc only if you want to. no pressure at all. what i love about her is that she analyses and give all the receipts and speaks about every viewpoint. a lot of discussions can be biased or single-minded, so it's good to listen to a commentary that's trying to be as clear and levelled as possible.. i know that stuff too, have been sitting here and stare helplessly while billboard and spotify etc try to just straight kick bts out, but if i was asked to explain it, i would fumble badly (and get a bit angry too lol) TT so she is pretty good at providing a place for discussions. also don't worry when she called out reaction channels, it was the ones who don't care about the art. all bts want is for their art to be appreciated and max of reactors don't care. but you actually do care about the art, the lyrics, you even go out of your way to find good sources so you can understand the nuances and really that genuineness is what we lovw. so dw lmao, we love you (your face was so funny as soon as she mentioned reaction channels thoughjsdh) and your content is great. discover everything as you go hehe and i wish you good luck for your art and your journey

Misogynistic monkey is kinda crazy 😭🥴 had to be a twt stan that said that, but nah frfr your channel is great vibes and hilarious. Idk the way you just marinate in the music and take in everything from its production to the lyrics is intriguing. You don’t just listen and move on. You let it speak to you and genuinely cherish the artistry. You’re great bro mad authentic and chill.

I've been watching you for a couple months now, and I must say that you've been a reactor who I genuinely feel adds quality to the video with your reactions.

Bro yo your videos are actually insightful, you put authenticity and character in your videos, i don't even categorize you as a reaction channel. Its like we are spending time with someone throughout the day, its fun. Continue bro your doing great
If you want to branch out I'd suggest videos like making a topline out of a bts beat, and sending it to their account lmao. With a similar format to a youtuber named max fosh, where he hired an investigator to stalk him for a month. Tho the title seems like a simple idea, if you carry it out with A1 W Rizz, ppl will continue to watch not bc of bts or what your reacting at, but bc of you. Content that would allow your character to be put out there is the goal.👌
