Yoongi’s intro hits really different for me now that i’ve graduated from my master’s degree with no job lined up… “scared idiot”, “others are running ahead, why am i still here?” Boyz with fun and converse high both make me laugh everytime, I love how they find that balance in their albums. You probably made the connection already, but Yoongi’s story about his “first move” being his birth ties directly to Amygdala. By singing about their own doubts and the questions they had about what it is like to be a young individual in this world, they translate into music some of our own thoughts and sometimes even give us answers.
