Our searchlight in the darkness. The conscience of the pure of heart. Neil Young still sings the truth while the flower children abandoned the cause.Thank you for this poignant song about what really went down in Ohio.
Unfortunately, Neil's classic wail of anguish is still relevant. So many people who don't deserve it are still dying at the hands of Authority. The picture of the young lady screaming over her dead friend amid the smoke and blood of Kent State in 1970 is burned into my head forever. I was in high school at the time, and we saw it on the news in Denver. How could this happen in America? And it keeps happening.
Neil still sounds just as good if not better than he did when this song was recorded what 30+ yrs ago? I know what happened at Kent State was FKN horrible!!! Ive listened to Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young for as long as I can remember & I was born in 86' I know I had all their CDs by age 8! There's another awesome solo song by Stephen Stills called "Treetop Flyer" about a Vietnam pilot running drugs when he returns from the war!
Neil is as vital now as he was 40 years ago. Thanks for everything, Neil.
The drummer singing along when he’s not even mic’d up is what the kids call a “big mood”
that just made my day
Didn't know that.
Neil..from Canada, but for all of humanity.
I never heard a sound like this, From Brazil.
Sounds great Neil .Thanks for all your music over the years. And love what you stand for in this world. Peace .
The greatest antiwar song of all time. The anthem of my generation who opposed Vietnam conflict as told by the master, Neil Young
Mach bitte noch lange weiter, Neil!
Ich kann mir eine Welt ohne dich nicht vorstellen.
Thank You - OHIO is a Timeless Song , I live and was born in OHIO and a county away from Kent State University - The Students were MURDERED !
53 years ago - may they never be forgotten.
my favorite singer since 1972. Still great!
Lukas is dead-on true to the original with the voice-over vocals at the end, "Four? How many more?!".
Neil + POTR sounded really good at Farm Aid. Liked hearing the White Falcon bass along with Neil's stereo Falcon on "Ohio". Nice.
Amazing. THATS what I'm talkin' about!
I am almost as old as Neil all time Great, but this band is the true wonder need more please these guys are fantastic
Promise of the real with Neil is so cool!💥💥💥💥🎸🎸✌🏼✌🏼👏👏❤️🎤👌
Stark, Stunning and Humbling, this many years later.

I have lived in ohio my whole life 66 years.
When i hear this song. I feel ashamed.
I know this song since thirty years, and I think its one of the best versions I know. Thank you Neil and Promise of the real
I love you Neil.
Promise of the real has real promise!
REAL, HEART-FELT MUSIC!!
This is one of my favorite performances for this song. Definitely sounds a faster drive like the early CSNY days vs Neil doing it slow and solo.

The drummin’ continues.....
Unfortunately, not much has changed in the almost 50 years time since this song was written.

time flies...it's been 50 years since the killings and soon after CSNY did OHIO. Still my favorite of CSNY!!!
Farm Aid you have the footage and the audio and the iconic now fire the editor please. Dizziness should not be part of our Farm Aid experience.
This band sounds great. Drums are a bit punk ass but it adds to it at points.
Percussionist is playing the amp head xD
👆😀😄
Oho
Makes me sad to know that people idolize people like Cardi B, Adam Levine, Megan the stallion etc…when there is music like this out there
The worst sound in Neil's history. unprofessional band, unprofessional sound of instruments. sounds bad together
