I'm 39. I was poor so library gave me Harvest. I was 14. Two times i have seen NY live. 2008, 2013 with CH. When Ramada Inn went by, my dear friend found me. We played 7,5 years together... He saw my hand when I was taking pictures.. He came, I had sunglasses and I was in tears beside my woman...

My observe' is that the new or next gen' performers in music don't have the lyrical impact in their "music" to still be significantly and meaningful +50 years on. In a few months their topics will have flamed out into gutter fodder. NY fan here till I'm planted though OH so very glad Neil is still playing for us today.
Yes Neil is one of the best song writers of all time. He's wrote some great music & some not . But I love his old school songs and lyrics. For now and as long as we're both on this earth. I play his music and he's inspired me to become a better guitar player by not giving up music. Love you Neil young keep on rockin' in the free world.

Thank you Neil and thank you Thrasher and Thrashette for your wonderful blog. I read it daily since I found it a couple of years ago. It has been a tremendous source of knowledge and insight into Neil and his work. And also, a place where I can feel camaraderie.

Wonderful! I 've seen Paradox two times till now and the second one I enjoyed it even more. It's a fest for the eyes and the ears, an impressionistic and sureal poem at the same time, a glimpse into Neil's universe.
And I loved all these beautiful critters and the tenderness in the way they were filmed. They stood there as spectators in the same way they were the audience in the Earth album.
And in my head now plays "Forever", Neil's quasi utopia, a song that I think as parallel to Paradox.

NY has always twisted and turned in my mind on almost every album he has made .Amazingly can,t think of any album that he has put out that ain’t,t to everybody’s taste but always has an ace tune . Another great album “Peace Trail” is a stand out tune in my mind .You know that treasure takes its time .
