I've watched all the electrical videos and for each thing you talk about it's awesome explanation. I think the only parts that are confusing me and people. In the switch on top, the power wire goes directly under the black wire, and do the neutrals get tied together, or does it hook to the other pole under the existing neutral?
That’s awesome ! What do I need and how do I install a outdoor power for an RV hookup outside of the house ? I know homeowners are renting out their driveways to RV owners who tour the US a new trend ! I also am thinking about buying a trailer and follow what u do and rent it out to people who can’t afford to buy a food trailer - I tow it to the spot they sell their food

Can I leave that on and then wire in the same type of speed control in the truck so that I can control the speed as needed? Thank you in advance!
Hey Frank, is there a minimum cfm that should be used on a hood system or is it based on the size of the hood? I have the chance to get a really good deal on a 10ft hood & need to know.
No idea. I buy mine as a kit comes together with hood, maybe if you check hoodmarts website it will show what they use on a 10 footer. That's a big hood

Hi Frank ,a question for you . is it ok to run romex into conduit . I thought you had to strip the casing off when running into conduit .
You can, nothing wrong with that. Typically you run one or the other
If you don’t mind, how did you size the proper CFM fan to your duct size and cook top size?
Thanks

I'd have to see a picture of it to get a visual. Send it to rollingburritosfoodtruck@gmail.com
You never showed us the final on the roof
can we use the same breaker with another plug or it has to be separate
The breaker for the fan with another outlet is that what the question was?
What’s the best exhaust motor to use on that food truck that you have there
Where is the best place to pick up the exhaust fan motor what’s the RPM on that motor
It's the one that comes with the hood from Hoodmart. Never bought one separately
Did your fan come from hoodmart as well?
Yes all included
Hey! How did you go about installing the suppression system, or is this something to have someone else install?
Good morning, that's something you have to have someone do, because the system needs to be tagged to pass inspection

Frank can i have wood or insulation above my hood vent? Is it a hazard? My ceiling was already done
What wire and breaker do I use for hooking up my exhaust fan and what switch can I get to turn on the fan my hood vent didn’t come with one thank you

And what amp breaker would I get for the exhaust fan

If it rains can water get inside ?
Not if you seal up all the spots where the bolts come thru the roof. You should be good.

On my truck I used 14 gauge wire but for more amps I would use 12 gauge
Hey Frank! Thanks for the great videos man. The ground wire thats hanging from the variable speed switch... does that need to get tied in as well? Does the exhaust fan itself have a ground wire?
The fan has a ground screw on the switch. It doesn't have to be tied in but it is recommended
how do you know how big of a exhaust fan that you need ? where did you get yours ?
They are standard size I believe I just ask for the length and they always give me the same fan. HOOD Mart
150 cfm per foot of hood. 4' hood = 600cfm . 8' hood = 1200 cfm

My fan doesn’t come on, can show more on the top switch ?
Is the switch turned to on up top?
