Hello, my artist friend, what is the cloth you use to dye? Cotton? Glasses cleaning cloth? Thank you, greetings and good work.

Hello! I primarily use cotton fabric sourced from old clothes and pillowcases for my projects. The key is to ensure the fabric is flat and smooth for the best results.

Hello!, lovely video and bag. I have a couple of questions if you have the time to answer.
    1. the 'wings' on the bottom of the pouch, can they be just cut from the same piece of leather without doing the stitching? As in can the brown (dyed I know) leather just be cut as one piece without the rectangles being cut separately then stitched on?
    2. is there a good way to add a drawstring to the pouch to better tighten up the top sides of the pouch?
    3. do you think that vinyl or fabric would work where the grey leather is?
    4. have you thought about lining the inside, and if so, any tips or tutorials on doing such a thing?
    5. lastly, in your area, what are you able to sell these for, and how is your profit margin (so long as that isn't to forward of me to ask)
Thank you for the great videos!

      1. Yes, of course, they can be made from a single piece of leather to minimize excess stitching. However, this approach can be somewhat wasteful since it results in leftover leather pieces with irregular shapes, which might be challenging to utilize in future projects. Conversely, my method generates scrap leather that can be more easily repurposed later on
      2. Consider making eight evenly spaced holes around the upper edge of the soft leather and threading two drawstrings through them - one on the left side and one on the right.
      3. I usually work with leather, so I can't say for sure how well vinyl or fabric would work in place of the grey leather. It might be worth doing some test runs to see how they hold up. Just remember, these materials might need slightly different techniques. It's all about finding what works best for you and your style.
      4. Bag patterns are made with linings that fit their specific shape. Watching a random bag tutorial might not show you the right lining for this pouch. Personally, I usually don't use linings in my leather items. I think it's not always necessary. But if you want to add one to this pouch, just cut a piece of lining material to match the soft leather part, and another piece of leather that match the bottom shape. Sew them together, then attach the lining to the pouch.
      5. Pricing can vary depending on factors like materials used, time invested, and your location. As for profit margin, it's important to factor in the cost of materials, any tools or equipment used, and your time. This helps ensure you're covering your expenses and making a reasonable profit.
Thank you so much for your support!
