It's really interesting with this completely new platform of gaming, the standards haven't been set and that's what i love! For both computer and console gaming we have standards of how you play, controller/mouse + keyboard and also all genres often have very similar ways to play and controls. Almost all VR games handle differently, some games try Uis, some try having a backpack you grab behind your back, some try teleporting, etc. It's going to be really interesting to see how the VR platform developes in the future
Well vr has has it's time a long time ago but then it was just a screen inside a pair of goggles, so basically no immersive experience. Now that we have more advanced technology you can move and look around, which is what makes vr entertaining. Being able to move around in a virtual world is what has been the goal always and now it's become reality, and it works really well. I would recommend to take a look at Microsoft's project where they merge reality and virtuality into one
Yes, and I agree that the Oculus is iconic for that reason, but that shouldn't justify you to but the Rift. My brother found a Virtual Boy ( VR headset made by Nintendo in the *EARLY 90's* ) and I was able to try it out yesterday. You can't turn your head around, it's pretty hard to explain how it handles, but it was 3d, and this is talking about back in time before even the snes! It's fun to use, but it never caught on and now it's a rare system...Anyways, before I keep rambling, let me tell you that although the Oculus started the trend for VR, it was Nintendo that prepared for it's future, although it was a failure. The Oculus shouldn't be praised higher than the vive for it's history, but instead just enjoyed for advancing VR technology to date.

I just bought an HTC Vive and am loving it. Glad to hear Oculus is finally getting some love with the new touch controllers. The more VR adoption rate there is the more VR will become a standard and that means we all win for more VR games and items.
Nobody wants a big heavy cable pulling on the back of their head, also the HTC isn't a comfortable headset. It's Bulky and the images aren't crisp.. the HTC isn't the benchmark headset people should want.
While there's no debate the Vive FOV is pretty much better.. I'd make a bet that the VIVE feels more immersive purely because the screen is a lot brighter. Personally I don't think any VR headset is room scale ready-enough. On the other hand tho even though I think the Rift is the better headset they've got a steep uphill battle to get people to want to use their platform.
yeah to be honest i use vive but i'll probably be doing a lot more rift now that its available for me to use with controller.s its soo much more comfy.
I still believe that the ideal of VR should be [ headset = monitor + sensor array, not platform ] and [ controller = keyboard or gamepad, independent from platform ] and I should be able to use an Oculus controller on a Vive or even OSVR.

lmao According to most reviewer comparisons now, The Rift + Touch is coming out on top. As someone who's been a PC gamer for decades, I'm glad I picked the Rift, Touch is freaking amazing. You're missing out. ;P
To anyone watching now, you can get Touch controllers (with the extra camera) plus Rift for only 400$. As far as I know Vive is still around twice as much.
@@MemeLair no it wasnt lmao the only thing that was heavily implied was that its a complete matter of opinion based on the positives and negatives of both and tbh the only benefit he stated about the rift to the vive was the controllers which doesnt even matter anymore cuz u can buy valve index controllers for your vive now. Plus vive has better tracking, longer cables, better graphics, fov, etc. and you can buy a wireless adapter for it too!
@@volty313 He said he preferred the ergonomics of the Oculus rift, he prefers the lower weight, the included headphones, the controllers. The price etc. And at the time of the posted video it's clear he prefers the Rift and the index controllers didn't exist.
get a psvr its the best headset for the price right now (400 bucks is okay) and it has some real games (Robinson the Journey, Rigs, Resident Evil 7, Driveclub VR, Gran Turismo Sport, BatmanVR, Star Wars Xwing VR, Ace Combat 7, Starblood Arena, Far Point and much more)
coolertuep I agree, for the affordable buck the PSVR is bang on, obviously at the cost slight lower resolution , I gambled on the psvr but luckily it paid off as I love the thing , don't get me wrong I will eventually upgrade but not for at least 2 years. I'm mega happy with my headset . I'm starting at VHS then will eventually go HD 👍
@Martin Roberts The screen is very very similar to rift and vive. Rift and vive have 20% higher resolution but uses a Pentile matrix (50% less subpixels) then the PSVR which uses a full RGB matrix. SO in the end, the image quality is almost the same on all 3
Dmitri Tousaint Its pretty fun Dmitri. You cant beat the price at all. I mostly use mine for VR sim racing- but the games with the touch controllers are a lot of fun as well. Very fluid movements. Its a step above the Gear VR and Track IR if you've ever used those. I probably wouldn't be too happy if I'd of paid 800 dollars, but for 400 its more than worth it.
I just got one, and I love it for Subnautica and Elite: Dangerous. That said, I find the sensors cables are way too short for setting up a play space; I could barely snake them around the confines of my large computer desk. Also, when arranged at my PC in this fashion, the setup would not proceed because the sensors are too close. All in all definitely not a good set up experience, not to mention the technical troubles I've experienced with installing it. (USB devices like webcam and Xbox controller malfunction, PC crashes when I reboot [memory exception errors]) Still, after the things I've played in VR, I won't take it back. Spent another $150.00 on cables and an extra sensor to set up a play space, and hopefully it goes off without a hitch.
***** I dont have anywhere near 800 dollars. I can wait because I am forced to. If you feel like you cant wait at all. Then get the oculus, if you want a higher quality version, and can wait, be patient.
I just got a vive last week. Don't wait or you will always be missing out on having one for the "next big thing". I don't regret my purchase at all and am having a great time with friends.
I think it's cause the hype is dead, people thought VR was going to be a sudden revolution and were disappointed. I think it'll be a slow burn but eventually as it gets more affordable I think it'll be a new console like industry.
its better this way because you're usually holding something in vr and the controller makes it feel more realistic. With a glove it would be odd. The oculus controllers are near perfect for vr.
I remember seeing the oculus rift when it first came out everything was so amazing and I wanted one badly a few years later and i now own a quest 2, dream come true
I greatly enjoyed the vertagear ad, it was hilarious seing colton just do random stuff. As a sidenote, the focus on the "FRONT ^"-sticker did not go unnoticed, shots fired yo :')
ThierryTheuns i would like to see someone do that. Only thing i dont like about the rift controller is that it uses AA batteries. Why cant they be rechargeable
ThierryTheuns i would if i had a set of Rift controllers and a Vive. Sadly i have neither of those things and i don't plan on buying a vr headset anytime soon
AA batteries can be rechargeable. They're also better than having an integral battery - you can swap the batteries out for freshly charged ones in a few seconds, thanks to the fantastic magnetic battery compartment cover. If the battery was internal and your Touch controllers ran flat, you'd have to wait for them to recharge. I far prefer having removable batteries.
Misael Cifuentes its a really bad deal if you have to buy the controllers separately for $200 (last time i checked) and another camera to move around in your room for $80 more totaling to $880 which is $80 more than the vive. I got the vive $100 off so it makes it an even better deal.
I would like to just sit back and appreciate how completely objective this video it. Usually, I see videos praising one system and trashing the other to get people to validate their own choices, but this provided information on the aspect being discussed while also adding relevant information about the other system and drew a conclusion based on the information provided. You my good sir, are excellent at objective comparisons.
My main reason for going for Rift was one simple reason. You can play any game on both the Oculus store AND the steam store (including many games that say they are Vive Only such as accounting etc)
VR is some really exciting shit, man. I feel like a kid again when using it and even just talking about it. I love how there is this little console war between the Rift and the Vive, it brings me back to old the days of Sega vs Nintendo. Today, the PS4 and the Xbox One just feel too damn similar, you could hardly even call it a console war.
Why doesn't anyone bring up in these reviews that you have to ally with Innovative Online Industries (Facebook), and they will own all your games and your soul in their little walled garden of shifty ethics, if you buy the Rift and games on Oculus Home? What happens when nVidia or AMD produces the next great VR HMD? Nothing if you own a Vive, as HTC isn't your life partner, and you can just jump ship. But if you own a Rift, well, you're at their mercy if they will continue to allow Steam to wrap their SDK, or whatever little spats and tantrums they feel like throwing. They already love exclusives ...who knows what else is in store? Would you buy a Dell Monitor (at price equal to it's competitors, no less), if Dell wanted you to buy all your PC software from Dell too to use on that monitor in perpetuity, and threaten to not allow that software to run on any other monitor?
I recently Bought Oculus Rift because it is on sale for $400s. I don't think Rift is doing bad, I do believe the sale is being done to make up for lost time since they didn't have touch controls on release. They lost a lot of ground with not having them on release. I do know A lot of people have bought the rift now because of the sale. Let's be honest here, 800 dollars is too much for new tech in my opinion. Now I haven't personally tried Vive but I don't think I will since all my friends just bought the Oculus because of the sale.
I'm probably going with the Oculus Rift since right now it's far more affordable, and frankly the recommended specs match my PC exactly, with the one exception being the CPU. I plan to upgrade to an RTX 2080, so the lower cost of the Rift will definitely allow me to have more money left over after the upgrade.
Umm, you didn't really go very deep into what the pros and cons of each actually are, you just sort of mentioned it over and over again that there are reasons to go with both but then never really get into what those things are. Kind of the point of a Vs. video, right?
Since our Government in the UK is apparently going to soon be snooping on what we're doing online, I've actually gone and downloaded TunnelBear. Thanks LTT!
oculus is almost half price, comes with 3 sensors instead of 2, comes with wireless xbox controller, better looking everything, better hand controllers, only 1 cable from pc to headset, built in headphones and microphone, it's made of fabric instead of plastic so you don't get warm, it's half the weight and it has better game support. I really don't see why anyone would buy the Vive after the hand controllers came out for the oculus
1 month later and everything you said is pretty much now false. The Vive's currently $600 and the Rift's $400. Yes, the Vive only comes with 2x sensors cause that's all you need. The Rift comes with 2x sensors as well but a 3rd is highly recommended for room scale. The Touch Controllers are better ergonomically but require batteries. Valve has their "Touch" controllers in the works known as "Knuckles". They too have sensors but theirs track individual finger placement. Both the Vive and Rift have 1x cable that runs from the headset to the PC, as well as a built-in mic and included headphones/earphones. The Rift is no longer lighter than the Vive as they both weigh a little over 1lb (1.036lbs / 16.576 ounces to be exact). "has better game support" where'd you get that from? Both platforms have their "exclusives" but both can be played on either platform with the help of software such as Revive and Steam (Steam supports the Rift). Personally, If I were on a budget, I'd buy a Rift, it's a no-brainer. But, for someone who plans on going mobile/moving their setup around a lot (Taking it to parties, showing it off to friends/family), the Vive's tracking system (2x sensors that only require a single outlet for each) is far less of a hassle than buying USB & HDMI cable extensions for the Rift. Semi-Permanent Setup = Rift (3x Sensors) Less Setup Time = Vive = (2x Sensors) Now, if the Oculus came out with a Rift 1.1 that had "wireless" tracking similar to the Vive's tracking, for the same price ($400). Then, I'd have a very hard time justifying the purchase of a Vive. But you also gotta take future peripherals into account....that's a whole nother topic though.
And you got that information from where? How do you figure people are using the *current* Knuckles? "The Knuckle controllers will work with all existing hardware. Like the original wands, Knuckle controllers are compatible with any revision of the HTC Vive headset and use the same base stations for tracking. If you have your hands on a pair of these new controllers, all you have to do to pair them is run through the normal Pair Controller setup in the Devices menu of SteamVR."
I've owned DK1 and DK2 and can tell you that we're years away from having high enough resolution screens to make things playable. 4k per eye will probably still suck. I'm not spending another cent on VR for a long time. It super cool, don't get me wrong, but the res makes it sooo fucking horrible.
GaLoS the resolution is much higher on vive and cv1 than dk2. Ad supersampling to that and games are more than playable. I use my vive almost every day and many games look amazing
No. Those two can run their own channel. I don't really wanna see them end up at LTT. LTT only cares about sponsored advertising and will put two ads on a 4 minute video.
Where'd you see that at? You think that deal will be back next summer? Thinking about picking one of these up but don't think $800 for a rift is worth it. $400 sounds reasonable though
G Reod it was on Amazon during prime day. Still $400 on Newegg but no gift card. As for next summer who knows. By then I imagine the next Gen from oculus and HTC may be out or close to release
I read somewhere that there won't be an oculus 2 or vive 2. I don't know. Wouldn't they have announced during e3? Maybe next year if the rumors you listed are correct? I don't know. How is the oculus? Do you own one?
Two notes. First, MOST SteamVR games work flawlessly with the Touch now--Valve-made content actually shows the Touch model instead of a Vive wand model. Second, given that, I've been playing plenty of experiences where I turn around, and use my hands. So long as you have your cameras wide apart and facing well into each others' view, you can track yourself almost all the time. I OCCASIONALLY lose a hand when facing away, but it's rare. More often I lose a hand when it's near the ground.
The Touch controllers meant I can easily do 2hr sessions in the Rift now. They're just that good. Something about having your hands to ground you a bit means I don't get queasy any more. Playing Arizona Sunshine with a buddy is an insane experience.
will wait for a hack that will allow the use of oculus controllers on the vive..... somebody out there who is smart has probably already figured it out.
Completely different systems. You would need both types of "sensor" for it to work. The Vive is like the Wii. That "sensor bar" the Wii had was just two LEDs. All the sensors were on the controller that looked for the IR lights. Rift is like the PS move. The camera watches you and the controller just has pretty lights on it.
it's not even difficult to do. unreal engine 4 for example just calls them both "motion controllers' and you map them out the same way. Gunna be honest though, the tracking for the oculus controllers is wonky and not comfortable to develop around. I personally want tracking points on more than just the controllers now. I want bands for arms legs and clips for shoes. I could do so much with that....

VR started existing a few years ago, but it did not become so much of a thing until this year
it´s been like for 20 years, but abandoned cause the lack of tech and support...
Chill the fuck out, man. Damn!
Nautricity I've tried all 3 psvr is a huge downgrade.
Not only do I have to watch an ad before the video starts, but I also have to watch his own ads IN the video. LOVE it.
To anyone watching now, you can get Touch controllers (with the extra camera) plus Rift for only 400$. As far as I know Vive is still around twice as much.
Now it's $350. I love that Oculus is becoming more accessible to consumers.
its weird looking at the Index Knuckels early prototypes. we've come a long way.
The HTC Base Station still have the best tracking in the market.
There isn't an 'final answer' so technically this is clickbait.
BTW I'm a big LTT fan, no hate here.
The Rift was heavily implied as the winner.
Please review the PS VR already. Taking way too long to review it...
+AllOutNoobHater our review went up weeks ago
LinusTechTips lol

Absolutely fucking destroyed.
So.... what's the FINAL ANSWER?
get a psvr its the best headset for the price right now (400 bucks is okay) and it has some real games (Robinson the Journey, Rigs, Resident Evil 7, Driveclub VR, Gran Turismo Sport, BatmanVR, Star Wars Xwing VR, Ace Combat 7, Starblood Arena, Far Point and much more)
Neonal, its the virtual boy ;)
coolertuep I agree, for the affordable buck the PSVR is bang on, obviously at the cost slight lower resolution , I gambled on the psvr but luckily it paid off as I love the thing , don't get me wrong I will eventually upgrade but not for at least 2 years. I'm mega happy with my headset . I'm starting at VHS then will eventually go HD 👍
@Martin Roberts
The screen is very very similar to rift and vive. Rift and vive have 20% higher resolution but uses a Pentile matrix (50% less subpixels) then the PSVR which uses a full RGB matrix.
SO in the end, the image quality is almost the same on all 3
Vive
Ah the good old days of tunnel bear sponsoring LTT videos. The good old times
I miss those days
399 summer sale? Just bought the Rift!
summer sale?
Yep.
ME 2
I just got one, and I love it for Subnautica and Elite: Dangerous.
I will just wait for the new vive.
T_alsomeGames yup my thoughts exactly
New vive? is it already announced?
Marco ACS There are prototypes.
Whats with all this VR is dead shit? We are in VR every night and it is awesome? Ya all trippin.
Fred Smith I mean it’s a step forward in technology lmao
Perkurius I think you're right.
I think it's cause the hype is dead, people thought VR was going to be a sudden revolution and were disappointed. I think it'll be a slow burn but eventually as it gets more affordable I think it'll be a new console like industry.
You mean a new accessory?
LEEMT1993 I'm not sure how to describe it. It's an accessory that's also a platform
Sometimes I question why I'm subscribed to this channel, then I watch Luke's content and remember why lol
Why didn’t they make gloves instead, it would be much more immersive to actually grab stuff instead of pushing buttons
AlexStealsMemes I was thinking about that.
Making a fist to grab stuff? I don’t think that’s very immersive
Who said that?
its better this way because you're usually holding something in vr and the controller makes it feel more realistic. With a glove it would be odd. The oculus controllers are near perfect for vr.
wouldn't really feel like you'd be holding a gun and firing though
you made me watch the whole ad by that looping the footage. congratulations :D
Yea I will probably get a pack of 48 batteries when I get the rift.
I remember seeing the oculus rift when it first came out everything was so amazing and I wanted one badly a few years later and i now own a quest 2, dream come true
me too, got my quest 2 today and it is awesome!
I greatly enjoyed the vertagear ad, it was hilarious seing colton just do random stuff. As a sidenote, the focus on the "FRONT ^"-sticker did not go unnoticed, shots fired yo :')
So could someone just program the Rift controllers to work with the Vive?
ThierryTheuns i would like to see someone do that. Only thing i dont like about the rift controller is that it uses AA batteries. Why cant they be rechargeable
TheDuckLord22 Probably, in a few months, they'll release a rechargeable battery pack, just like Microsoft does for their XBOX controllers.
ThierryTheuns i would if i had a set of Rift controllers and a Vive. Sadly i have neither of those things and i don't plan on buying a vr headset anytime soon
Sebastián Mestre Too bad. The devices are way too expensive right now. I'm waiting for the next generation so prices will go down.
I far prefer having removable batteries.
im never buying anything owned by fuckbook. Ill stick to HTC
Misael Cifuentes fuckbook sounds like one of those cheap dating sites who put their ads on pornhub
that's because... it is.
Misael Cifuentes glad i have an htc
Marley holy crap it does exist..
I can't wait for Huawei/chinese company to produce dirt cheap VR headset/gadget.
For now, I'm not interested in either both
Google VR. Probably similar experience...
chronousnemesis man its gotta be sad to be that poor lmfao . Feel sorry for people who cant afford a few hundred dollars
Please can you tell us distances in meters additionally to feet? Thanks!
Baptiste DL just search meters to feet
Baptiste DL Divide by 3 dude... It isn't that hard.
Vive w/ 360 tracking - $800
Oculus w/ 360 tracking - $880
Oculus w/ good tracking - $960
Getting my Vive on christmas. Super excited.
Haha you knew you were getting a vive 12 months before christmas, and it'll most likely be obsolete by hen
Yeah dude you wasted money lmao
Looks of PSVR, Controller of Oculus, Display of Vive, Price of Cardboard = Best Impossible VR
My main reason for going for Rift was one simple reason.
You can play any game on both the Oculus store AND the steam store (including many games that say they are Vive Only such as accounting etc)
winner is virtual boy
Nope!
I like Rift better than Whiterun.
you're wrong, dawngard is the real experience.
Uh, i prefer to have my arrows taken to the knee in Riften good sirs...
I prefer the Reach, but that's a pretty rare preference. You might even say niche!
Skyrim belongs to the Nords!
Some call it junk... Me? I call it treasure
We got our touch controllers in the office today. Fucking amazing, I can't believe they actually sold the rift without them.
So which ones better?
7:47 I would never sit in a chair made by Abstergo ;)
VR is some really exciting shit, man. I feel like a kid again when using it and even just talking about it. I love how there is this little console war between the Rift and the Vive, it brings me back to old the days of Sega vs Nintendo. Today, the PS4 and the Xbox One just feel too damn similar, you could hardly even call it a console war.
hit me up when full dive VR becomes a thing like in SAO! Then im in!
you die in the game you die in real life
Yes
Unfortunately that will never happen
:(
WTF is this? Said "Final Answer" in title but actually it's a "Final Review" vid for the Rift. Where's the VS part?
I've had a Rift for a year now. Just ordered the touch controllers to complete the experience :)
Ok.. so what's the final decision ? this just covers the differences.. misleading title.. what's your answer!!!!!?????
kRo0kEdTV the rift won
Rift is overall a better product.
@@kowhaifan1249 No
yes
I personally find the Oculus to be better since it's more reasonably priced than the Vive. Plus, I find it's controllers to be top notch.
30 hour challenge? It's on!
30 hours latter *takes off vr headset* *falls down*
I'm still team Vive as it seems more... all in one, you still have to buy the touch controllers, the sensors and the headset separate for the Oculus.
Silver Shot you should have waited 4 months and you could got it for 350 with touch controllers and sensors
People pay 800+ for the newest iphone pretty much every year, it's where your priorities sit.
I'm getting oculus rift+touch controls+ 3sensors+ 1hdmi cable+1 Xbox controller for 479.99$😂
And here in Australia it's $680... Almost should just go with the Vive, only $200 more!
nobody has made a controller better than the original oculus rift except maybe valve i havent tried the index controllers
What about now that oculus is 399 with touch controllers?
and vive for 599
Oculus is the better choice now
Gabe12822 its 350 now with touch controllers
Vibe is still 599 oculus is 350 with touch controllers and sensors
I'm here because Oculus just dropped their package to £399
jepemil 200

For some reason it's 445 euro in the Netherlands...
£398 dumbfuck
@@a-surfin-bird8182 397 PUNK ASS
Just bought a Rift today after years of keeping up with VR, cant wait!
and now for the summer the rift plus controllers are 399. so is this a OMFG STFU AND JUST BUY ?
Koffee yup
Just picked one up on Prime Day for $400 US and a $100 gift card!
I'm probably going with the Oculus Rift since right now it's far more affordable, and frankly the recommended specs match my PC exactly, with the one exception being the CPU. I plan to upgrade to an RTX 2080, so the lower cost of the Rift will definitely allow me to have more money left over after the upgrade.
vr is the future..
Erwin Estrada-jr VR is the past. It’s only improved. Improved VR is the future.
KingGeorgeGopro Incorrect.
@@mrcodyjmiller rethink your comment. What the fuck is that supposed to mean?
Semi-Permanent Setup = Rift (3x Sensors)
Less Setup Time = Vive = (2x Sensors)
Now, if the Oculus came out with a Rift 1.1 that had "wireless" tracking similar to the Vive's tracking, for the same price ($400).

This looks so dumb compared to oculus vs htc vive now
why do I get the feeling after "ready player one" comes out, vr will go nuts
I REALLY FUCKIN WANT VR!!!
Rhode u shuld get the vive. Its amazing :-)
Christer Sjöberg i dont have a vr computer
aha ok. well i hope u get it some day :-)
I've owned DK1 and DK2 and can tell you that we're years away from having high enough resolution screens to make things playable.
Guys...... I saw RGB on the Valve version...... Shit.... Hold on to your wallets people Gaben is out for you........
No one:
Luke: final answer
Also Luke: the choice is yours
I want VR gloves
Criminals vr gloves are coming. There are even prototypes that makes u feel the object u are holding in vr in real life :-)
That'll probably be something for Gen 2 VR.
Criminals yea Imagine if they release man hunt 3 vr. where you actually use your hands to violently kill some one. Rockstar do this
KAI AND LOK ARE JOBLESS pls hear this, lmg team
I am slightly concerned that I know both who they are, and that they left their jobs. I might be spending too much time on youtube.
No. Those two can run their own channel. I don't really wanna see them end up at LTT. LTT only cares about sponsored advertising and will put two ads on a 4 minute video.
digitalrevtips ;) Imagine linus with english accent
Gear VR with the note 7 inches from your face. "WOW! That explosion was so real!" says one costumer.
The rift is a $400 with a $100 gift card. Insane
Do you own one?
so its basically Wii nunchucks?
Walternate but... but... these are better.... we promise*
*oculus and htc
Said the peasant who cant afford a gaming PC and HMD. Fuck off.
More often I lose a hand when it's near the ground.
we need vr gloves!
Mm i dont have enough money 🥴 i gonna play in the wii lmao
BramPlayz noice
What do you use the thumb stick for
To move in game without moving in real life.
Google cardboard wins
so, for the rift with controllers and 4 sensors thats $920. and its a smaller area than vive. i guess laser tech is better than cameras :P
you don't need 4 sensors. I'm perfectly fine with two.
you need 3 to match the Vive's experience but in a shorter box.
Honestly still think Vive is the better investment.
+ batteries for the controllers ;)
The camera watches you and the controller just has pretty lights on it.
yeah you're right.
Revive does it, used it yesterday works very well.
Sorry I read your comment the wrong way. The Oculus tocuh is already compatible with steam VR and most steam VR games.
it's not even difficult to do. unreal engine 4 for example just calls them both "motion controllers' and you map them out the same way. Gunna be honest though, the tracking for the oculus controllers is wonky and not comfortable to develop around. I personally want tracking points on more than just the controllers now. I want bands for arms legs and clips for shoes. I could do so much with that....
