On this weeks WeldTec Wednesday we follow the build process on this beautiful Chevy Express Camper Van. The Customer has already built out the interior to be the ultimate stealth camper. She came in for a WeldTec Designs 5" Suspension Lift Kit to give her the extra ground clearance for when she camps off grid. She didn't stop there she upgraded her wheels to a set of Bronze 305 NV Method Race Wheels that really set this Chevy Express apart from the pack. She was beyond excited to hit the road in her newly lifted Chevy Express. Another happy customer leaving WeldTec Designs.

What do you guys typically do for gearing and the computer when changing the tire sizes like this?
I love the Chevy vans and GM in general but Not really a fan of lifted 2wd anything. Can you guys do a detailed install of one of your 4wd GM vans? I’m more interested in the Solid axle vans than the IFS suspensions that GM did in the 88- later pickups and Suburbans
What offsets do you usually use
If I wanted to go with a 16x9.5 (-24) what size tires could I get away with which lift kit for an express van 2wd.???

What would be the beat leaf spring for my 2018 express van thats use for cargo dailyy ?
Been wanting a lot for my 02 gmc savanna wonder how big differences 02/03 have 🤨
96-02 front suspension is completely different. (This I’m 100% sure of.)
What I’m not 100% sure of is this; but I believe it shares a lot of parts with C1500 2wd trucks from 88-98 (gmt400)..
Do your research though.

Jeremy I know you have the passenger express van. I’m looking to purchase a brand new express for myself, gonna be converted to a surf camper with bed in back and what not. Would you recommend the cargo or passenger for my needs? I can’t decide! Love the look of full windows on passenger but I would save some money with cargo and wouldn’t have to take out all the seats myself. Thoughts? Thanks!
