The only thing I learned from this video is that I WON'T be trying to service my suspension. Not anytime soon, anyway .... that's for sure. Glad to see that you are dialing in the suspension for a 170 lb rider. I thought 125s come from the factory for about a 150 rider. I'm 180, so tuned for 170 should work fine for me when I win the bike.

Fun to watch. Alittle different than doing the seals on my wp open chambers. To those who are scared, it isn't too different if you have decent mechanical abilities. Find a friend who knows what they are doing for your first time. I wont touch shim stacks though
Doc just revalved my forks on Monday. Excited to try them out this weekend

This is really cool to watch but tbh I will just pay my suspension guy do this properly for 160 and change. It does help when he lives just minutes down the road.

You left air when assembling the shock absorber inside the middle valve. The stack of rebound and compression washers is pressed tightly against it. It turns out the effect of a cup immersed in liquid upside down.
I use 4 pieces of wire with curved edges under the stack of washers on top, after diving I pull out these pieces, all the air comes out on top of the middle valve.
But each has its own methods ...

@@mxgryan 1. He's local to me, 2 he has tons of experience both as a PRO Racer at the national level (He's one of the few who can say that he Smoked RC4 bad enough RC thought he won the Moto at Washougal), a test rider for Honda, and he been in the suspension business for years starting out with RG3. 3. He knows all the tracks that I race like the back of his hand. 4. I don't have to ship my suspension off I can take it directly to his shop. 5. He can be there to fine tune the set-up when I am testing and tuning. I have no issues with other suspension companies but if I don't have to pay extra for shipping that's more money in my pocket for the track.
