When Fitbit flashes the green light, it doesn't indicate a problem; it means that the Fitbit tracker is tracking your heartbeat rate. The light can be frustrating for some people, so here are the steps to turn it off.
• Access the Fitbit app on your phone or tablet,
• Click on the account icon,
• Next, click on the Fitbit device image,
• Lastly, select the heart rate option and set it off.
• However, as you stop the green flashes, the Fitbit tracker will also stop tracking your heartbeat rate unless you turn it back on.
Can you turn off the heart rate feature in all Fitbit models?
Turning off the heart rate feature to stop the green flashes only works in 'Fitbit Iconic', 'Inspire' and 'Luxe' models. The green blinks can not be turned off in Verse and Sense models.
