Hello, I'm new to the Garmin world and enjoying the Venu 3 thus far! I've noticed that with the default 'wear on left' the buttons are oriented towards your hand/wrist bone, which can result in accidental presses when weight training with gloves on, etc. I think I might have seen somewhere that other watches in the Garmin line allow for an orientation adjustment- essentially flipping the watchface 180 degrees and placing the buttons on the elbow side (like the default for a right wrist wearer). Normal Venu 2 is a little better because less Metal an lighter. Vivomove Sport is the best Garmin for Sleep Tracking.. But its marginal. Better gonwirh Fitbit or Apple if Sleep Tracking is important. See "the quantified scientist".
How do I get the Wallet app on my Garmin watch? It is not listed under the App section. My card is set up on garmin pay (it is also supported) but I cant find the Wallet app on my watch anywhere.
Any idea why body battery won't sync with activities recorded on say a garmin 540/840? It seems weird that I cannot go outside do a workout even if I take another garmin device. Isn't this supposedly integration all there is to benefit from a brand's ecosystem?
I have a sort of a unique question, if anyone can clarify - So, I have a smartwatch like Venu 3 for example - I pair it to my personal phone (Android) and install their app, and just use the watch normal, let it track whatever. But while at work, I'd like to connect it to my work phone (iOS) to take calls or see notifications. When it's connected to my work phone, will the health tracking start all over again or will it continue as it is?
I’d say try it.. Personally I think you won’t loose stuff because everything is saved on the watch 🤔 But not sure, haven’t tried it 😅 I do think it’s a hassle because you have to disconnect to connect to another phone..
Is there anyway to fast forward on a podcast or an audiobook? It says to hold down the fast forward button, but it just keeps skipping to the end. When on runs I like to listen to books, but I can't go back to my spot.
In my Venu 3, I can"t see in APPS - wallet - phone - music ?? I can"t figure out this issue . I added pay-card and looks like on my phone it should be ok.
I got one!! I love it but I’m constantly having problems of connectivity. If I’m at my bedroom and my phone is in the living room instantly disconnected and I don’t know if that’s normal? HELP PLEASE !! 😭😭😭
I’ve just gotten mine a few days ago and I’m noticing the same issue. Often I see these red exclamation points ❗️ showing my water intake is disconnected, my stress levels, or the weather. Usually I just open the Garmin connect app and it reconnects. Easy fix BUT absolutely ridiculous given the price of these watches. A $400 watch should not have these issues from a long time established fitness company. However the annoyance, at this time, doesn’t make it a deal breaker for me. But it’s very annoying, especially since my Apple Watch just doesn’t have these issues, it just works! I have watched many reviews from the well known fitness device review channels and I haven’t seen anyone mention these annoyances with the watches, looking on Reddit, it’s not an issue that’s isolated to the Venu 3, this seems widespread to varying degrees across all Garmin watches. Really sad.
Funny I was looking for a video on the text and call feature. I currently have the galaxy watch 6 but the battery life at 1D feels horrible to me but a huge pro is quick text and being able to answer calls during work
I have 965 and using it mostly for running, golfing, and skiing this winter. I am thinking about buying venu 3 because of ECG. How do you like ECG function?
Sometimes my heart seems to race. When I was riding my heartrate went to 220. I have upgraded to Garmin Pro strap and haven't seen it. But if it happens during the day I can capture it on the VENU. So far it doesn't last long enough to do that but I have the peace of mind that I can catch it and diagnose it. Also, I do construction projects and don't want to risk my 965 so I wear the VENU. The 965 has many more fitness features but the VENU 3 looks to now have some or all of them. @@monicaandhyunwootv1337

I got the watch , is beautiful but couldn't detect nap , why is that ?
Good detailed test, but nothing about notifications, why not? 😢
Good point, usually someone texts me at some point along the way when shooting - but didn't happen and totally forgot. Sorry!
@@Dcrainmaker actually would be interesting to see how many improvement happened there. For me it is almost the most important part of a smart watch. See how it handles the pictures from Viber, Messenger etc apps :)
Hi, thanks for your review.
What is the best sleep tracker garmin watch right now, i use the venu 2 plus but I'm not sure it so accurate.
Is there a chance that you test the notification for emails like MS Outlook and Teams?
Any idea why body battery won't sync with activities recorded on say a garmin 540/840? It seems weird that I cannot go outside do a workout even if I take another garmin device. Isn't this supposedly integration all there is to benefit from a brand's ecosystem?
I have a sort of a unique question, if anyone can clarify -
So, I have a smartwatch like Venu 3 for example - I pair it to my personal phone (Android) and install their app, and just use the watch normal, let it track whatever. But while at work, I'd like to connect it to my work phone (iOS) to take calls or see notifications. When it's connected to my work phone, will the health tracking start all over again or will it continue as it is?
I’d say try it.. Personally I think you won’t loose stuff because everything is saved on the watch 🤔 But not sure, haven’t tried it 😅
I do think it’s a hassle because you have to disconnect to connect to another phone..
Do you reckon all the SW updates on the Venu 3 be rolled out to the still new watches like the Epic Gen 2 at some point?
Great presentation
will this connect to all trails app?
Thinking about switching from AW…can anyone share what power options are missing?
Can you do voice to text like an apple watch on this?
Is there anyway to fast forward on a podcast or an audiobook? It says to hold down the fast forward button, but it just keeps skipping to the end. When on runs I like to listen to books, but I can't go back to my spot.
On a phone double tap on the video left to go back or right to move forward
Really sad.
Any idea if we will see a Garmin descent mk3?
How do you access the compass?
My Venu 3 is not tracking my naps automatically.😢 is there a setting that I need to do.
What are the chances of Venu 3 sq being relased
Can you cover the new texting keyboard? I haven’t seen any reviews covering that.
Funny I was looking for a video on the text and call feature. I currently have the galaxy watch 6 but the battery life at 1D feels horrible to me but a huge pro is quick text and being able to answer calls during work
I have a 965 and Venu 2 Plus Are there any reasons to upgrade my VENU 2 + to the 3?
@@monicaandhyunwootv1337 It doesn't look like Venu 3 has ECG as of yet.
@@Pohmetolog thank you for letting me know.
