i just did this job, if you undo the two motor mounts underneith and jack up the motor, it makes it a breeze, i had no troubles at all,,,,theres 4 bolts size 15s
Ive done countless 49 water pumps and timing covers I've owned 3 and have a few customers with them this particular job is a bitch tho my best advice tear down clean up REAL good take lunch rest n cine back b get it tge studs on the water pump pull out easily be careful

Nicholas soward Did all the gaskets or just the water pump?
Dont forget the 3/4 hose from the inlet only time you can access it
Is it easier getting to lower/rear bolts of the water pump with the wheel and shroud off? Or, was that just to get to the timing cover?

God I wish I had found this video before I did this water pump. Got it all back together and it was pouring coolant 😑🔫
