I have v3 flagship version and I also had a lot of problems while controlling the cube but after a bit of tension adjustments, lubes and a little bit of practice helped me achieve a personal best of my own. The same goes for you, a little bit of lube will make it a bit better.
If I were you I wouldn't buy the pioneer version because its too fast even for the fastest speedcubers in the world, even max park uses the flagship version.
Hi, thanks for the comment. It wasn't the speed I had an issue with but more the stability. It's interesting to note the Weilong V9 PI Cube (video coming soon-ish) keeps the core magnets, removes the internal edge ones and replaces maglev for springs. So, it keeps a basic internal core magnets but slows down by using the springs. I've seen the same for the Moyu Super RS3M, replace the maglev for springs but keep the ball core. Unfortunately, this isn't an option on the newer Tornado V3 as it doesn't have screws. As always, don't forget to subscribe! Thanks.

Btw, may I ask, how strong is the "strongest" setting of the magnets in Tornado V3?

Hi. I never adjusted the magnets - they're on the default setting of 3/5. They're a little less grabby than the YS3M at this setting. I didn't really enjoy the Tornado V3 from initial impressions, so after the internal adjustment I just left it as it was. The thing about core magnets, adjusting the edge magnets doesn't make much sense because the core magnets do half the work. It would make more sense to be adjusting the edge magnets on the no-core magnet versions as they'd have more effect.

I bought the cube on june 6th got it today it is soooooooooooo good it beat my main (now old main) the gan 11 m pro its just so good i love everything about thanks making a video about it.
Great to hear your times are better with a hardware change, But which cube? The YS3M or the Tornado V3 and which model?

I have the 2 class set of that cube's which is I prefer the flagship version of V3, YS3M is good but if you guys don't like blocky feeling don't go for it well for me my current main is 1st V3 flagship,2nd wrm V9 and last is Gan 13,Ys3m is good but i don't really like the blocky feeling out of it like Rs3m super and it feels really cheap.
Hey, thanks for the comment. You really need to find the right cube for your style. I actually really like the blocky feeling much more than the Tornado V3 or my previous GAN. But that's me. It's all down to personal preference. As always, don't forget to like and subscribe :).
Why is your pb so slow
Because I'm slow. Everyone has to start somewhere. My average coming down with the new MoYu WeiLong V10. I just did an unboxing and review.

Everyone has to start somewhere and not everyone will be sub-10s. But really, for me the YS3M just felt much better out the the box than the Tornado V3. They're qualitatively different experiences.
