Thank you! I’m in Europe and so far the Tornado V3 Pioneer is insanely expensive here, so I was wondering whether to treat myself but after your commentary on it I’ll stick with the Flagship (without MagLev)
My first and only speedcube before the Tornado v3 was an RS3M 2020, and it gave me an amazing feel. The turning felt effortess, the magnets felt strong and it felt overall as a really really good cube. But after getting used to it and it losing speed, it never felt the same anymore. I decided to get a Tornado v3 Pioneer, and it arrived yesterday. And the first reaction I had is that it brought back that feeling I got with the RS3M 2020. Also, I forgot to mention this but apart from the feeling it actually turns pretty fast to the point that you can easily do a U2 with one flick. I heard it's too fast for some people, but turns out it suits me well, cause I was looking for a fast cube and this one is. And in addition to all of this, the extra attraction and stability the corner-core magnets give makes it a cube that I really enjoy.
We actually have the same experience except i just havent bought a tv3 yet, (which i will buy soon). My rs3m also has lost its speed, since i didnt lhbe it for over a year and just felt sluggish. Until recently i felt a tv3 and holy had the same reaction as when i opened the rs3m first up
wow it seems like this comment section is still kinda active so ill give a brief update one of the plastic tubes of the core of my tornado v3 snapped on me, but it wasnt that big of a deal cause i wanted to switch mains anyway so i bought myself an rs3m v5 ball core the reason why i wanted to switch mains in the first place is cause the turning speed of the maglev felt nice at first, but as i kept improving and lowering my times (i got from like 35s to 18) i started putting more force on my turns than before, meaning i didnt rely much on the speed of the cube, so my pioneer decision ended up backfiring instead of helping. so i bought a replacement core for my tv3, flagship this time, which will be my backup cube once i get my v5, which should be in about a week
I’ve had the tornado v3 flagship for about 3 months and it’s carried me from sub 25 to sub 17, ordered a ys3m ball core recently so I’m very excited about testing out my 3rd ever magnetic cube

The V3 was my main and is still my main for blind. I decided to forgo the RS3M and YS3M because I knew they would release a wrm with a ballcore. The v9 is my new main and in love this thing, it really feels like the wrm 2020 which was my favorite iteration of the wrm with the new technology. The only thing I don't love about it is how loud it is but I can live with that. Also the out of box feel was a bit rough.
