Great review Milan! it's so cool to see so many competitive flagship cubes out now. And even better, people can go with the V3 Flagship which is even cheaper and not as fast because it has springs. I absolutely love that puzzle.
I just had to get a new tornado v3 now cause my other one..well..let’s just say i dropped down a concrete staircase like 50 times and used shampoo as lube for some reason.
@@novakronwr hey you can either get the yoo cube deluxe II which is the tornado v3 flagship with settings and lube already in it made by cubehead or you can by the same lubes as the one thay are in it: dignitas, dnm37, cubicle lab silicone and weigth 5
If it's perfect out the box, who cares about the adjustability. I've got a Tornado V3 and nothing I can do to it can bring it close the the perfection of the WRM v9 straight out the box.
If I'm being honest, I actually like the direction MoYu are going with their cubes, I do not think removing magnet adjustment is a bad thing as most cubes (minus the GAN 13 and the 12 to a lesser extent) haven't really nailed the execution and they end up changing on their own and just have more crevices for dirt and lube to build up. I also think that MoYu haven't done anything wrong keeping the old adjustment system as I think it is solid and probably the best out there other than the tornado. The only thing I wish they would do is provide non maglev models with core magnets as they would sell much more than the just maglev variants and would probably be most cubers preferred option.
Yeah, it's silly to complain about the adjustment system being "old". All that matters is if it's easy to use and if it works well. And the answer is yes to both of those. I personally think it's the best adjustment system, partly because it doesn't rely on numbers I can't see or other indicators that I just can't see.

4:07 Hmm. I would like to know people’s thoughts on this. I don’t see this as a disappointment, I actually really like what MoYu is doing with the tensioning. If you buy a MoYu cube once, and then later buy another, then you know how to tension it already. Plus, I don’t see why a screwdriver is so bad. All the other brands just use a glorified version of one. And in this cube, the tools don’t break easily, and are very straight forward. For those who didn’t see a preview for the GAN 13 before it came out and you bought it, how long did it take you to find the adjustment tool? Furthermore, while one of the tensioning tools IS plastic, it isn’t used a lot in easily-breakable situations, meanwhile the tornado has a thin plastic stick that is in a very high-break risk scenario. And GAN, although fixing their ways with GAN 13, has used mostly very confusing plastic tools to tension their cubes. And also, the GAN cubes have all had a different way to tension it, making it confusing for people unused to the brand. I would love to hear everyone’s opinion on this. Hi, nice comparison. So far I've been using the Tornado V3 as my main cube. Although I have to admit that I'm not really a speedcuber, I use the cube more to concentrate, switch off and calm down. Stress relief. 30 seconds is enough for me. I use Roux because it's almost completely intuitive. Still, I try not to be too slow. And that's where my problem with the UV coating on the Moyu comes in. It's much too slippery for me. I know this from the GAN, where the UV lacquer is really sticky. Is it just me? The V9 is slippery :-(. The times are not good when you're running after the cube...
7:14 this is why the gan356 x v2 is better than all these gans lol its silent, makes a nice sound, fun adjustment system, and most importantly a lot cheaper than the other gans
Honestly, I think that a lot of people are forgetting older cubes that are still very good, cubes like the Gan 11 m pro and the wrm maglev with core magnets are all still viable and can compete with the latest cubes since there hasn’t been that much of an increase in performance for a while.
I have used GAN 11 M Pro, Tornado V3 Poineer but recently got the 12 ui freeplay. It actually owns the Tornado IMO. Do a video about it if possible pls.
my current main is the gan 11 m pro. my previous main was the tornado v3. the tornado v3 is much simpler to change the settings, but the out the box experience was very bad to me. sandy, lighting fast, corner cutting felt bad. after changing the settings and adding lube( martian and nebula at speedcubeshop ), it instanstly felt much, much better. the out the box experience for the gan was much better, but changing the settings, specifically taking out the center caps, was much more difficult. overall, both cubes are amazing, but the gan felt a little more satisfying to turn.
I don't think that features should be given more attention as compared to performance.... Though the Tornado has more features, WRM V9 has better performance and that's what matters
Honestly I have zero problems with the moyu dual adjustment system. Screwdriver takes almost no space in my everyday carry, I throw the compression tool in my cube bag, and to be quite honest I just don't change the settings that much on my ys3m. Sure there's potential for uneven center travel but idk just turn (the screwdriver) more accurately. It's not hard to trial and error your way to an evenly adjusted cube and if you're buying the flagships you should know how to do that anyway imo. Realistically the screwdriver system is losing you at most like 10 minutes over the entire lifetime of your cube and I just don't think that's significant enough to dock points for
It's funny what you say about the V9. I've left it exactly as it was straight out of the box. Its speed is just what I've been looking for in a cube, the nicest cube I've ever used. I've got a Tornado V3 and it doesn't matter what settings I use, I just can't get it to come close to the V9.
Ball core UV with green internals. Don't get me wrong the Tornado is great, it's just a different experience. All that said, I got a GuHong Pro maglev in 54mm to try it out and that was even better. I also got the spring version to try out and although there's little in it, I mainly use the spring 54mm now. But all 3 cubes are amazing tbh. The V9 feels more premium, but the Dayan feels really nice to use. The Gans are just too blocky for me.

IMO tool less adjustment is nice but not a big advantage, most cubers will spend a bit of time during break in getting the cube to where they want, then leave it as is, with the occasional adjustment, so it's not that big of a deal to grab a tools/small screwdriver to adjust. Personally I prefer the weight advantage over the convenience of a tool less system

Don't know why people complain about corner twists on v9, I only tightened it by half a turn out of the box, did like 3k solves and didn't get even one corner twist
anyone else love the wrm 2021 maglev? i installed the corner magnets myself and its my best cube. im curious how it stacks up to the wrm v9 and the tornado v3. i see the tornado was used to beat the world record recently, to me this is a promising sign. i also love the blue internals on the v9, but not as much as i love how you can see the purple internals at a partial rotation for the wrm 2021, while the v9 has colored corners instead. i wanna try out a special coating and idk which cube yet! i also see they have a preorder for a moyu super wrm on SCS
yes and no, both cubes are really good and if I would include them there's plenty of cubes I could've included as well (like the Gan 11 of older Weilong cubes), but these three cubes are the current flagship cubes of the most respected companies
I don't have the 13 but I have the 12 and both the tornado and v9. I gotta say it's a tough one. I think performance wise, after quite a bit of time tinkering, for me they're all very similar. But as far as feeling I prefer the v9, plus I do enjoy the smaller size. So wrm v9 is my favorite but I really like them all
I’ve been away from cubing for a while and now I’ve come back there’s no flagship stickered cubes anymore. i wanna be able to pick my stickers what happened :(
This might just be me, but I think because of the simplicity of the moyu adjustment system is the best adjustment system, and the reason it’s been that way for so long is because it’s perfect already.
I have to say you something, if you want to be National record holder on some avg or even top cuber, you need to put time on cubing not on sim racing, i see that fannatec logo on Macbook. What simulator are you on? I play acc and F1 22
I suddenly fell in love with Tornado V3’s dual ajustement system after I broke my Gan 13 KunLun’s dual ajustement system and spoil the whole the whole cube😅
My favorite is Tv3 flagship version I don't really recommend the pioneer version cus it's to fast v9 is also smooth good but out of the box it's really easy to get a corner twist,Gan 13 is also good the premium feeling is just really phenomenal but performance and price wise it's like under the Tv3 I will really pick Tv3 over it.

Don't know why people complain about corner twists on v9, I only tightened it by half a turn out of the box, did like 3k solves and didn't get even one corner twist
Which version of the V9 did you get?
@@nps1024Ball-Core
@@premkoflipperbetween normall ball core and 20 magnetic ball which one u would recommend ?
I just ordered from the cubicle, and used the discount code Cubehead😂😂.
anyone else love the wrm 2021 maglev? i installed the corner magnets myself and its my best cube. im curious how it stacks up to the wrm v9 and the tornado v3. i see the tornado was used to beat the world record recently, to me this is a promising sign. i also love the blue internals on the v9, but not as much as i love how you can see the purple internals at a partial rotation for the wrm 2021, while the v9 has colored corners instead. i wanna try out a special coating and idk which cube yet! i also see they have a preorder for a moyu super wrm on SCS
Yoo, Milan any new merch on the way? Great video btw
I want to buy the Tornado but I don't now how to set up
This is what I've been waiting for!
U should have included the gan 12, and ys3m at least
*flagship* cube battle, gan 12 is no longer gans flagship
yes and no, both cubes are really good and if I would include them there's plenty of cubes I could've included as well (like the Gan 11 of older Weilong cubes), but these three cubes are the current flagship cubes of the most respected companies
I agree cubeface ;)
@@CubeFacey got it
@@Steerable6827 true, but for almost all top cubers, it's the gan cube they're using
Nice Video. Again. :)
i love the tornado v3 it just fits me perfectly
Yoooo
I have tornado v3 pioneer and i agre it is so good
What is your favourite cube out of these 3 cubes
Milan: the wrm v9 is the smoothest cube on the market
Tengyung v1: am I joke to you
I don't have the 13 but I have the 12 and both the tornado and v9. I gotta say it's a tough one. I think performance wise, after quite a bit of time tinkering, for me they're all very similar. But as far as feeling I prefer the v9, plus I do enjoy the smaller size. So wrm v9 is my favorite but I really like them all
Why isnt the tengyun v1 up there
7:33 what +2?
I really like the Gan and Tornado cube. Feels soft not very loose and very good for speed cubing
It's good but i dont like the fact that i had to use a screw driver .
@@PWN18well the screwdriver is already given in the box. But it is actually a very simple system
Your videos are always so entertaining Great job.
I have to say you something, if you want to be National record holder on some avg or even top cuber, you need to put time on cubing not on sim racing, i see that fannatec logo on Macbook. What simulator are you on? I play acc and F1 22
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONGGOD
Yo, who’s going to euros in Barcelona next year
When is the new yoo cube (wrm v9 probably) coming?
GAN 11 M Pro - 20.86 PR Single (February)
Later…
Tornado V3 M Pioneer - *17.07 PR SINGLE* (May)
3:25 his reaction to tha ball core had me dying 😂
Ikr😂
The fact that the v3 is cheapest among its rivals and still wields the crown is amazing.
Tingman and cubeface uploaded at the same day, what more can I ask for.
I was waiting for this!
I wonder what he thinks about the uv coated tornado
Love these more performance and well rated videos!
I suddenly fell in love with Tornado V3’s dual ajustement system after I broke my Gan 13 KunLun’s dual ajustement system and spoil the whole the whole cube😅
0:47 is insane🎉😂
My favorite is Tv3 flagship version I don't really recommend the pioneer version cus it's to fast v9 is also smooth good but out of the box it's really easy to get a corner twist,Gan 13 is also good the premium feeling is just really phenomenal but performance and price wise it's like under the Tv3 I will really pick Tv3 over it.
The warm v9 and gan 13 fx have similar features, yet the warm is better, and overall tornado v3 is the bet.
Wait, did they update the tornado or something? Cause this one was a fixed plastic piece while mine has a fixed screw, and it has a ball core while mine has a mechanism similar to a normal center to core magnet mechanism
Haha because of this comment I realised I have two different types of cores in different tornados.. I have no idea which one is newer
