Hi, yeah, the screw in the middle are older models and can break the core. The new ones have a bolt that doesn't come out.

Contact the customer support of the store. Wattlecube in Australia are who we support. Otherwise, just reach out to the store to make sure you get a new version that doesn't have the screw.

Thanks for the comment, and don't forget to subscribe. I usually use The Cubicle Lubes, so I like FZ Calm and FZ Rush. I wasn't keen on Gravitas, it's really sticky. Silk and Mystic are okay but quite soft. I find humidity and temperature can affect performance as well. Cold weather just gums up the cubes.

I don't have the screw. That was the original model and the core would break if you tightened it too much. It is now a single bolt.

I think the MoYu WeiLong 20 magnet ball core is better. It's cheaper, has better magnet construction and comes with UV.

Hi, thanks for the question. The MoYu WeiLong V10 has 20 magnets in the ball core so it is more grabby when turning. It's also cheaper and has UV. I also think a X Man Tornado V4 is coming soon, but not sure when. Performance is comparable between them. I only have the Maglev versions of both, and I prefer the MoYu WeiLong V10.

That's a great question, thanks for asking. I have both and have done a few videos on each. Currently, I find the RS3M V5, and I can't think of any other word, more comfortable than the WeiLong V10. Right now I swap between both and both feel great, but I think it's just my current lube setup that's the difference. The WeiLong V10 is faster, so I find the RS3M V5 more controllable. But that's today. Might be different next week when I tweak them again.

Yeah, it really depends on your preference. I need to do some research but maglev and springs have different force pushback so they don't feel the same as you adjust tighter.

Thanks for the kind words, I think those cubes were older than almost everyone at the competition. I like to create different edits based on the event and try different things. There's only so much you can do with a single camera angle.

Thanks for the comment. I think the VIN 4x4 is worth the upgrade. It feels more tactile and turns a bit better.

Hey, thanks for the comment. I had a quick listen to Mr A Game, and I don't think he's Australian so there's a bit of a difference there. I'd have to cannibalise one of my maglev cubes to update the Square-1, not sure if I'm keen on that just yet. Anyway, don't forget to subscribe!

Yes, it's pretty strong. The YS3M maglev with 20 magnet ball core is even more grippy with the magnets. You can see my review in ua-cam.com/video/0aCou7REp58/v-deo.html ... also don't forget to subscribe.

Yeah. If you watch older videos I used to do it all the time. It's +2 if you touch the cube. It's a DNF if you turn it after the timer has stopped. You can also see one of the Pyraminx solves, I am touching it as I stop the timer. That should have been a +2 as well. Don't forget to subscribe, new videos coming soon.

The mat ones, after a lot of use have a shiny feel anyway. It does come down to preference. And to be honest, if you're like me, you'll but the V4 when it comes out. Or a MoYu. Or another QiYi anyway in 6 months :) PS: Don't forget to subscribe.

Yeah, larger cubes have parity and also the Square 1. It's basically bits aren't where they should be.

I'd already done a solve and reboxed it. @tingman named it using a random generator.
