Thank you for your tutorial you look cute in your bathing suit. I think cutting it a little shorter would look better but not completely off because I don’t think it would look good
Thank you for commenting. After this video I did cut it rather short (about jaw length) and it's grown back to a shoulder length long bob now. It is fun to play around a bit with different lengths.
To get a perfect finish, you need to apply normal henna (reddish color). Leave that to rest for 3-5 hours. Then rinse. Your greys at that point will be red. Then apply your dark brown henna. Leave it on for how long it says in the product instructions. Then rinse. That's how you get a perfect finish with no trace of greys. 💛
In india application of henna is very common..we mix lot of things into it to get the good darker colour. Things are like Amla, bhringraj ,shikakai powder .if u want reddish tint you can add beetroot juice in it and for oxidation of the Henna and to get the darker colour you should mix it in an iron vessel and keep it overnight and then apply it on hair next day...do not shampoo on d same d after applying Heena coz it will give its color in 48 hours ..after applying henna we do oiling in it coz henna is dry in nature ..den next day we shampoo
Thank you for this very detailed and insightful comment! I find your idea about the beetroot juice and the iron vessel for reddish tint to be especially interesting. My hair does tend to be dry especially at the ends and yes I should be applying oil more frequently. I've used coconut and castor oil mixed together with pretty good results. I am a big fan of India, lots of good inventions originated there, including yoga! 💕
This was amazing to see..I am trying to find the right coverage for my grey that will leave my roots more strawberry rather than the bright orange henna tends to tint grays. I wish I could have seen your results in brighter sun (it looks overcast). Don't cut your hair, I think this length suits you! 💗🙏🌺
Best of luck with your color choice! I agree that strawberry can be a bit difficult to achieve with henna. Last time I henna'ed, it did result in sections that were best described as 'strawberry blonde.' Especially after 2-3 washes. I am getting ready to henna again, as this video was made several weeks ago and the color is fading. It only lasts about 4 to 6 weeks. Thanks for the suggestion on not cutting my hair... you're probably right, lol. You're also right that it was overcast that day. I was definitely having lighting issues in this video. If you have time, please update me with your color results. I'd love to know what you decide on and how it turns out for you! 😍🍓✨🙏🏼💖
S farbou do hneda vyzeráte oveľa mladšie, omladla ste. S henna pokračujte, farbite si ňou vlasy aj naďalej, za čas budú vyzerať ešte pevnejšie. Fajn farba.
The color is amazing, with just natural products, wow. Some UA-camrs recommend blackened banana peels or potatoe peels too.Love You,try to bring Me a piece of that henna lol .
Yes a video pertaining to henna touch up would be ideal. Also if I'm not mistaken I heard that your hair colors get richer over time. if so can you elaborate? And did you say those are air plants in the bathroom?I just subscribed and of a solid 👍🏽was given. Because, after watching 3 videos on coffee/henna.Only after seeing yours do I feel prepared to purchase the Lush henna and coffee and give this a try. So I'm excited to see your other videos. Maybe some yoga dare I dream. Stay blessed ☺️
Hello there! 💕 Yes, the color tends to deepen over the first few days after you first apply the henna. It then stays at that depth of tone for approximately three to four weeks. By the time six weeks rolls around, it will need to be touched up because natural roots will start to grow in, and the initial henna treatment may begin to look dull. Yes, I do have an air plant in the bathroom! The touch-up process is very similar, only you can use less henna mixture and focus on the roots. Thank you so much for commenting, liking and subscribing! Glad to "meet" you! 🥰
Hey there! Just to follow up with you, I made that root touch-up video and posted it this morning! Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/3VxysYdtW4I/v-deo.html 🙏💖✨
Hello! The henna color lasts approximately 6 weeks before the roots start to show. Also around that point, the previously applied henna color may begin to appear a bit dull. I’m currently editing a “root retouch” video. One can get away with just doing a retouch instead of re-applying henna to the entire head of hair. Make sure to follow package instructions and consider doing a small strand test before your first full head color! With henna sometimes it takes a couple of attempts before you get it just right. One more consideration... if you plan to get salon color done in the future, henna can potentially affect future professional color applications. Just something to be aware of. Wishing you wonderful coverage results! 🙏🏽💕
@@TruHolisticPathways My experience with mixing henna with more temporary dyes like coffee, is that as the one fades the gray hair turns pink and stays pink. Any experience with this? Perhaps Im using the wrong Henna?
Hello and thank you for your question! Pink is not a color that I have ever observed my previously henna'ed hair fading to. However, sometimes it does eventually fade to a kind of dull brown with a slightly peachy tinge. Henna can be unpredictable. There are many factors involved. Best of luck on your henna journey!
Nice video but don't use shampoo to wash your hair after henna as the color deepens after few hours ..so just rinse out with water n apply oil overnight n next day shampoo 😀
That sounds lovely! I might give your method a try. Every 2 weeks is quite often, but perhaps worth the effort. Thank you for sharing your henna regimen! 🌺🙏🏽🌱💕
@@TruHolisticPathways I like dark- brown hair so much but after using henna+ indigo I saw in year that my hair was worse than usual, I made the same experiment with henna and in half a year my hair was much better, but it' s only my experience. Good luck!
It is Lush henna, thanks for asking! I have tried other brands but Lush seems to leave my hair with the most shine and seems to have some sort of conditioner in it because it feels softer afterwards too. Not sponsored just what I happen to use.
Oh, thanks! I haven’t tried those brands, but I’m always interested in budget-friendly options. A brick of Lush henna lasts me about a year, I find it pretty affordable, however someone with longer thicker hair might need to purchase more, in which case I suppose it could get pricey. Thank you for sharing! 💕🙏🏽
Understood. Some areas on my head that have more silver or even white, tend to end up orange- especially when I use water instead of coffee to mix the henna.
Don’t make life difficult for yourself We just stand under the shower and take a shower like always All the henna will eventually wash out and then scrub shampoo whatever as usual Bathtub will become clean itself No staining happens
Hi there! I love your name, Be Human! I have tried to use the shower before. The problem is that the shower heads in my house are very low-pressure, and I feel like they don't give my hair a good enough rinse. The bathtub water flow is better (in my house) for rinsing out henna. You're absolutely right, for someone with a great shower that would probably be easier! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! 💖👍🏽
Thank you for watching to the end, and for commenting! I've thought about shaving it many times and I have cut it pretty short in the past-but have never had the guts to shave it. 😄

@@TruHolisticPathways I add some oil to my henna mix and it lessens the dryness a little.
Yes that is a good idea, but I wonder, does oil prevent the color from taking hold?
The colour came out beautiful!! Great video. I love using henna especially Desert Shadow sold in Australia!
Thank you, I don't think we have that brand here, but I do love Australia!
