This is a story of a young fox that was left for dead on the side of the road. It's a story of hope and compassion and the amazing will of an animal to survive. 53years old and it always brings tears to my eyes when humans do humane things. It’s EVERYONES responsibility to fix the “broken” so to speak. Good job guys and gals
People broke it. People should fix it. "Look for the helpers," said Fred "Mister" Rogers. Some jerk hit the animal and scarpered. But a good samaritan found her, and found "the helpers." It was a lesson from Mr. R.'s mother to remain hopeful in bad times, like seeing footage on the TV news of war and natural disasters and violence, and reinforce faith in humanity. When things are dark, it can seem hopeless. "Just look for the helpers. Even in the sidelines or in the background, there will always be helpers."

I save bugs like spiders and even throw flies out of my house and pick up earthworms off the road...
We humans kill billions of life forms each year, from insects, to mammals, birds, trees, etc... we will pay one day for this, the 6th Great Extinction... I try to save what I can...

We, humans, are RIGHT NOW causing the SIXTH Great Extinction of life on Earth, that is a CRIME and we WILL pay for it.
Like children, we must put aside our childish beliefs in fairy tales, only the rules of Science are Truth, NOT religion.
Billions of people have believed, often pretty, often ugly and silly stories about deities for millenia, ALL PAST DEITIES are dead and gone, Aphrodite, Jupiter, Horus, Odin, Venus, Manitou etc etc etc... all gone...
Your god too will one day be replaced... because it is NOT REAL.
Only Scientific principles will remain, whether humans are here or not.

The world needs better drivers.
I used to do dog rescue. It was one of the most satisfying things I did in my life. I had all sorts of dogs, some severely abused, some almost entirely fine - all sorts of personalities too.
It's not always a happy ending though, I had to put down dogs just because they were too dangerous, some were sick when I got them and didn't make it. But I still value the time I did it.
As my two dogs that I adopted, as they aged, I couldn't continue to do rescue just because my dogs were so elderly. When I had to put my final dog down, I just don't think I can continue doing rescue. Eventually the negatives outweighed the positives, and it's just too heartbreaking at times. I value the time I did it, I was a great dog owner exceptional even, but I think nearly everybody burns out on this type of stuff.

The fox is a beautiful animal. People need to be aware of animals when they are in distress. It is a humans DUTY to DO ANYTHING & EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO SAVE THEM.

I don't know how this is organised in the US, but in some countries around the world, if you do not help a person in distress or in danger (the minimum you can do is call 911), you could end up in prison. If when it comes to humans this is a duty under the law, this should apply for animals in distress too.
Good to know there are good folks around, giving others a chance.

freaky Friday actually many people when their family members are on their death bed would chose not to give life support or have their members be forced to suffer through. I rescued a new born sparrow, released it and ever since I have been feeding a multitude of various birds,
turkeys, squirrels, rabbits and even an occasional skunk. It's very satisfying.
Its a warm feeling inside as your say very satisfying
people like you are few and far between. So glad you exist!
Animals like us when injured need clean safe and warm place to recoup plus food and care . Very Nice of you Who Do Care .That all they need small garden little food and warm Loving Person who watch after them .

@Портер В Нижнем Новгороде частенько лисы забредают в центр города и блуждают по откосам правого берега Оки и Волги, и они, минуя стаи бродящих собак и домашних ( но не точно) кошек выбегают на склоны рек. Выглядит здорово, но они смертельно опасны для человека- болезнь "бешенством" называется. А в лесу- это наглые твари=), но милые.
