That is a newborn, I mean minutes, not even hrs, it's fur isn't even dry. I'm sorry, this group does a lot of good work, but I'm very suspicious of this. A cat looking for where to give birth might go in a dark place between seats, but not on a hard open dash where predators might see it.
Yeah, also new mamas are not that friendly, they are wary even after. No way they will enter a cage, at least i never ever experienced that with a stray cat.
