The look in your eyes at the start of day three made it real just how much this race pushed you past the limit. This was an amazing video. Everyone who thinks ebikes are for lazy or disabled should be required to do the race at least once.

This is what I love about emtb. I love exploring trails and mountains and forests, just as much as blasting down a single track or a day at a bike park. I love going off for the day and exploring. These videos are really great motivators🤟
Fantastic, really got the feeling we were right there with you but without the sweat lol. Felt like this was a 30 second clip not 32 minutes as it was so entertaining. I just hope we get our heads out of our a&$&$ quick enough here in North America for me to be able to attend an ebike event like this in my lifetime. Well done thoroughly enjoyed this with my espresso this morning :-)

First nearly everyone of those so-called real mountainbikers was laughing about e-mtbs and now you can do things like this with these type of bikes. Incredible. I don't hear those laughs anymore ;)
Excellent video,i did a lot of mountain biking in chamonix many years ago,with, MBMB,amazing place,they didnt have E bikes then,great place to ride.
I watch this race steve just about every month and every month my world just stops or goes to slow mo until its finished,,, 💪😊just love this place💖😍EPIC💙💙💙Excellent efforts guys💯🇬🇧
So many issues with Ebikes, so if I want to go on a big trail lets say 40 miles, I would have to take it easy as to not run out of battery...So I take another battery and place it in my back pack..however that adds more weight and therefore increases the drainage on my battery, I don't want to have to worry about these sort of things, I don't want to worry about my battery for a week at least, and that's the reason I'll wait to buy one
I rode for 20 miles the other day in Bentonville, Arkansas and my butt bones hurt so bad after I couldn’t ride for the next two days. I hadn’t ridden in year before that though.

I live in the Swiss/French Alps area and have been toying with the idea of getting an eMTB and this video is just the final inspiration that I needed! Not sure I would manage to do anything so grand as this, but it was absolutely stunning. Off to the local bike shop tomorrow!

For me I would never compete in the race. But I would love to spend days riding up and over those mountains.

What a trip! Some of it looks a bit too rugged for me. Would hate to be the guy walking down some of it.. but I’ve done 70km/3000m climbing in about 6 hours. Was brutal. But this would be like doing this back to back 3 days in a row. Not sure I’m up for that anytime soon. Cheers to all of you who completed it!

Steve, for an older athlete you are a badass!!…You inspire me to train harder for my fitness. I’ve never ridden a Ebike but I am certainly curious about them now. I personally ride a normal bike 2022 SC Bronson so you no it’s a lot different from an Ebike lol! Kept on shredd’n Steve!

That's a rich mans game, and I'm not on the bones of me arse! 4 batteries at 500 quid each!!! (one, you already own) even if you already own the bike.. on top of the cost of doing this particular event. That's bloody nuts.

Seems to be a lot of problems with this levo bikes even tho they ask premium price.
On the older motors the belt inside couldn’t handle the torque the motor puts out.
Since there these steep climbs all along the trails I think that’s what killed his motor.
Specialized says they fixed this problem in the new motors with putting in a stronger belt, flattening the torque peaks and now they give you 4 years of warranty on the motor.
