@@wizzyno1566 My friend bought his first ebike (his first BIKE actually lmao) after having a single go of my levo! I love infinity cycles, often ride up from sunderland to have a browse :)
55 yrs old and got one two weeks ago. Revolutionary! It takes the yuch out of hard climbing, my age means I don’t recover quickly. Now I get to the top and I’m ready for whatever is next. It’s like being in my thirties again. You still work but at a rate your body can handle. Six hours in aerobic/threshold and you can think of riding the following day too! Fantastic. I’m getting to be as fit as I can be without feeling wiped out. The off piste adventures are great, these things climb up stuff you wouldn’t believe! It’s crazy, it’s technical up and down now. Humping them over fences & stiles is a good workout too - now I’m skint & can’t afford the gym after buying the bike 😂
totally agree, got mine 3days ago, not ridden much in 10years as house renovation and kids kept me busy, but really missed riding to took the plunge on my 50th birthday to finally justify and its the best thing i have ever bought. two long rides in and i can believe the distance covered and uphill's are just as fun so easily enjoyment is now twice as much. It took a while to release you dont necessarily need to plan you route through the rough stuff as you would previously as they smash rock strewn gulley's and off piste inclines you would think of tackling on my old stead as good as it was. I can feel my weight dropping and personal energy improving, best thing for old skool mountain bikers.
And when your motor ticker will be over 1600km, i can assure that this will be the moment where you ll really start enjoying your emtb. I even managed to get rid of my car for commuting to work (luckily for me i live in almost rural italy, so you have plenty of white roads and fields near the streets, and hence, commuting from home to work is relatively easy and relatively car-free), so i managed to "normalize" a 4x12kmx300mt elevation commute rides per day for a total of 48km as daily training routine. I would never been able to do this without an emtb.
Amazing video! Totally agree with Chris, an E-MTB let's you have fun on the climbs, on top of all the advantages in stability and grip. Good day out, guys! And we will see more of Blake in EMBN, right? 😉
This is making me even more excited to build my first e-bike this weekend. On a tight budget so am just converting a walmart MTB into a 1000w EMTB, but it'll be the best bike I've ever ridden at that point
What an epic video. Excellent job. Entertaining and educational. I was closing watching riding techniques through all these different obstacles. At age 59, I started riding an EMTB earlier this year after not riding a bike for 25 years. Super fun. I run the power in low setting now to focus on fitness. I'm conquering technical obstacles that I thought I could never do when I started just a few months ago. As discussed on the video, I get more tired on the way down the mountain. Lots more to learn and conquer! Really hope everyone is having as much fun with their ebikes.🙂
Fantastic video, how did I miss this when it came out?! Epic days out with a mate are what eMTBs are made for, and they 100% deliver. I'd echo what Chris said at the end too, so many times I've gone back to try to do something better thinking "I can do this" when I'd never even attempt it once on an analog.
I love ebikes I can ride all day and still feel my legs and walk the next day ! There's nothing like biking on a nice hot sunny day 😎 Great video can't wait until the snows gone

Great video! Really shows the some of the unique features that an EMTB has. And thx for showing folks that an EMTB can make tech climbs fun since the bike greatly reduces hike-a-bike. Here in the USA, hopefully, more folks will embrace the EMTB like folks in the European community and there will be more places to ride EMTBs.
Great video guys lovely to see Blake on an ebike especially in my neck of the woods in the quarry only wish I knew u were there guys would have loved to have met u both
Have to say that my ebike has given me a new lease of riding life. Did a big ride very near to Table on that same hot weekend as you guys, taking in big climbs up to Waun Fach ( 2649ft) but also big cracking descents especially off Crug Mawr. Awesome.
I recently sold my KTM 300XC and a hard tail single speed to eventually buy a nice eMTB. I thought they were silly, until I rode one a few weeks ago... They are amazing! This was a very fun video, thanks for putting it together. "Having fun going up-hill" What an awesome new paradigm!
Yeah he backflipped an ebike in a video about two years ago. There was a "game of Ebike" video on EMBN in which Sam Pilgrim backflipped his bike to show Blake that its actually not much harder than flipping a standard MTB. Afterwards Blake did a seperate video for EMBN in which he did it aswell.
Got a whyte e180 v3 on order cant wait to see what i end up riding, been into mtb for years and never liked or got good at climbing so this will open up a lot of places for me
Ha ... it was good to meet you guys at the entrance to the quarry in Trefil. Didn't think I would ever bump into you guys out on the road. My comment about e-bikes is only from a jealous point of view ... if I had the money I would definitely get an e-bike ... keep up the good work.
Love it!!!! Especially seeing Blake riding my new bike! Invis are making a kit for the Torque. On and using my bike as a template. First in the world with an Invisd Torque. On 😁👍
This is cool.. kinda.. if you happen to have a bike park near you.. for the the rest of us... Honestly, the DH enduro riding and jumps are dope... just for me, riding uphill under MASSIVE power changes the whole thing entirely.. which is what I thing the trouble is, as it were.. the real dope is going down underground, with massive power. next level is to time the uphill segment, with proper power.
yes my son, he is 18 and ride with me on ebikes, also I invited always I can to a friend to use one of mine and go for a ride on the bikes, . I ride since 2013 until last year only marathon and cross country now bike parks, jumps, enduro, more and more
It's a good job Blake did the the muscle flex for the guns out. It just would be the same if Si or Ollie from GCN did it. It would more like pea shooter out.
I'd be curious how long before you have to replace the chain on e-mtb? It takes quite a beating in the terrain that you rode, especially the rough steep uphill sections.
At the beginning of this video when it was said , Blake’s got his own ebike , not borrowed , never mentioned what it was how much it cost , what battery , nothing , I much prefer watching the road cyclists UA-cam channel , with Simon , etc more info more humour and funny moments ,and they don’t get boring saying how much they weigh , like that Steve Jones , nearly every video , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
