So happy to see you guys struggling; keeps you both humble and let's the common fishermen know that it is not just them struggling to catch bigger fish.
There's not too many people who make fishing look as good as you guys make it look. Love the videos and keep putting out the good content you do. Tight lines.
Sadly, I've fished less this whole year than I did in any average month the last 5 years because there have been so many people bringing their boats out that have been a yard ornament for the last decade, breaking down on the ramps, etc.
I started following these dudes a few years ago. I went from a Walmart fishing pole, worm and bobber guy to a capable bass fisherman on a tight budget pretty quickly once I found what worked for me, all just by watching the amazing content they put out.
From a huge musky last time I saw Matt catch a fish to 3:44 and an exceptional jab at Tim. (Matt voice) "Awesome" 🤣 Thanks for showing your rationale on navigating weird conditions!
I fished for a few hours each of the last three days and saw and experienced what you saw and experienced. Tough for sure, and it is encouraging to know that more experienced guys also struggle at time. Tough fishing still better than sitting at home watching TV. It is good to enjoy God's creation, sunlight and time with a friend. It's also a good time to learn more about your equipment and lures.
Please don't take this the wrong way. First, I love your videos, it kinf=d of fun to see you guys working for little ones after watching you all call 6lbs starter bass when you were back on Clear lake. :) Welcome to the east boys
Great stuff guys. It’s encouraging to see even highly experienced anglers have to work to figure out new bodies of water. Your video possibilities are endless up there!
Nice to see fall hasn't been tough on just myself. Went out Friday a day after Zeta blew through and had a bunch of success ahead of the full moon with a swim jig and a texas rig. Came back to the same spot two days later and they'd only take the texas rig on a reaction bite. Guessing they gorged during the full moon. Appreciate the videos you guys do, I definitely used your tips to be successful over the weekend.
Went out on sun morning in the rain and had about the same luck a bunch of dinks a few white bass and one decent largemouth. Learned a lot from you guys! Much love from your neighbor in VA
Nothing like watching Tactical Bassin in the morning, drinking my coffee before I drop my daughter off at the bus stop and then I’m on my way to the lake!!!!!👍🏻👌🏻💯
This video was super entertaining watching y'all catch all those little fish lol. That was me Saturday fishing a new lake, I found plenty of dinks but couldn't seem to find the bigger fish during the fall transition. As always, love the videos guys. Most informative bass fishing channel on UA-cam!
Y'all sure have your front deck movements well choreographed. Although, I am still waiting for Matt to knock Tim into the water with one of his hard hook-sets.
It's good to see that your days don't always go to plan, as that happens for myself and many fisherman. I would really like to see a video of how you approach a highly pressured body of water. My local lakes (San Diego, CA) see so much pressure and can drive even good fisherman mad.
@@tacticalbassin TY for the reply, yes it is brutal, at least I can get to my other fishery fairly often- the lower CO river which is always fun to fish.
Y’all know it’s 5:30am right?! Lol, I just happened to be awake! Forgot Monday is an upload day! Great surprise to wake up to after being skunked all weekend!
Guys, wish I would have watched before last weekend. Table Rock was TOUGH!. Tons of bait balls but we couldn’t find the bass. We crashed and burned all 3 days on the Big Bass tournament
I was there 3 weeks ago and it was awful. I spent 4 days practicing for the Champion Ultimate Challenge, caught 2 keepers and maybe 6-7 bass all week, so I skipped the tournament. Never caught 2 fish on the same bait. Deep cranks, silent squarebills in shallow water, loud squarebill over deep water tree tops, big swimbaits up shallow, tiny swimbaits deep channel cedars, ned rig on a bluff wall...
Fishing in Middle TN has been pretty tough in general the last few weeks. I'll be heading to Chickamauga Sunday for a kayaking trip to hopefully turn it around. If you guys only had 1 day on a kayak at that lake, where area would you focus on and what pattern would you use the heaviest?
I need some help for the past month or so the temp has been in the low 60s to high 50s and the a couple days ago we got our first snow fall here in massachusetts and ever since the snow fall it's been in the 40s and 30s and the bass seemed to have just stop biting. What technique would be best to get some bites? I've been slow creeping a Huddleston on the bottom but still haven't gotten anything.
Can you guys pick up the turners Californian Rods and do a on water review? I really interested on your thoughts that will be a good budget rod to go in the budget videos.
My grandfather has never been a fan of the new things they come out with like new electronic reels, any thing like that he has taught me the best things that i will ever learn and i think old lures work better than new ones, today they are probably made in mass production, back then for example the devils horse is made of wood and high quality and durable but today a 6 dollar popper or spook is not as durable. He is one of my favorite people in the world now he is in his 60’s and wants a boat but cant find one he is getting to old to go fishing now.
I fished a new lake for the first time last week, Lake Camanche, and absolutely got destroyed. I fished all day for three small bites and threw everything from shallow to deep all over the lake. Im sure the full moon at that time did not help, but wow, sometimes those fish just don't play. I was thinking "What would Matt and Tim do?
It’s been real tough after our first cold fronts here in east Texas, shakey head with a brush hog and a shad squarebill only thing I’ve gotten fish on at all this past week
Hey Tim, how strong is 12 lb sniper? I've got it on a medium heavy and even small ones feel big sometimes can I land big ones? I mean where do I need to set my drag? This is straight floro no leader
I need help on backlash/birdnesting. You guys are whipping your baitcasters like nothing and no birdnests... I do that once and bird nest like crazy and or it only goes like 2 feet
Right now the water below the dam is way up. Like into the trees. Caught 4 smallies today. Nothing big but there are some good ones in there. Caught them earlier this year.
Did you film this video 2 or 3 days ago or is that just when you posted? I’m at chick now through Saturday just going to try your tips if you’ve been here in the last week. Thanks and great video
Hey Matt/Tim do y’all have any tips for Lake Hamilton and Ouchita in Arkansas. I’m talking a road trip up there and I’ve never fished either of those lakes.
@@wired4fishing690 yes man..so it's been raining for days..yesterday a cold washout here in NY...today sunny, cold but sunny...me too the dog and I would find a stretch of bank and I'd be looking for those points..sucks.
Enjoy your videos very much but I do have one question. Just wondering how many times do either of you get hit in the face when one of you are setting a hook standing next to each other? Sometimes it looks awfully close.
What up!...I don't know where my fish are! I'm guessing down deep... I finally did get a boat but no electronics yet, we had some really cold weather recently and the nights are colder in general even when its 60-70 during the day because of our elevation but I can't seem to find em 😕 Help!
I got a video idea for this winter... we all know what tackle junkies you guys are.. and so are we, i'm gonna go ahead and assume you guys have some JDM stuff not available at tackle warehouse, or just uncommon... JDM tackle talk? I know its hard working with tw as most of the stuff likely comes from the hookup and others but it could be fun if you guys are interested/can
How’s the ppl treating you all. I hope good. I really really hope to meet with the two of you. I watch all the videos You make. I am a bait maker and the best bait I use is a twin tail like mat.
Fish hitting Shad makes me grab a Zoom, The Fluke, in Smokin Shad and skitter that thing around on a size 1 Gamakatsu EWG on 8lb. InvisX with the spinning gear, no weight. Sink it in the ball and pick up the bigger ones underneath picking up the wounded ones.

Same, fell in love with the double fluke c-rigged. Before this year, it was just throw a worm and hope to get a bite
