I think it's most true of Burrow and Allen second. They are renowned QBs. But it's not more offensive than what people do in sports. If Burrow beats Mahomes and* wins a ring it will change because he will have gotten to 2 Superbowls and beat Mahomes twice.
The reason it seems offensive now is because none of the young qbs have accomplished anything yet while Mahomes has had the best start ever. But that can change quickly in 3 years.

But I don't think people are just counting rings and awards in this case(and I suspect in this scenario one of these elite QBs would LIKELY have an MVP trophy). And if in 3 years one of them gets 2 rings AND Mahomes wins none, would that be inconceivable for how sports debates happen ? Think about if it's a QB as great as Burrow. he'll likely have beaten Mahomes 3x in the playoffs in that scenario. Thats why I don't think the 8 years are a lock for best QB like Broussard. Mahomes has accomplished so much more than everybody else it would take multiple seasons of MVPs and championships to be better than Mahomes IMO. Lamar is the only QB that could get very close if he won his 3rd MVP next season and finally gets that ring.

I’m a KC fan, but a relatively realistic one. If Lamar Jackson, who is indeed amazing, would win a third MVP and the SB this season, I would put him on a tier with Mahomes and the debate would be meaningful. The chiefs had 44 total drops in the regular seaons leading the league. Before the chiefs drafted Mahomes reid was known as a choke artist in the playoffs 7 years in the league 6 years starting 2 mvps which one of them having 5000 yards passing and 50 passing touchdowns and another breaking the record for most total yards in a season. 4 superbowl appearances 3 super wins and 3 superbowl mvps and is one playoff run away from being second all-time in playoff wins at 29. At this point you can't even make an argument for someone even being on the same level as Mahomes.

Last year was a bad stat year for Mahomes, but his receivers dropped the ball.
