One thing is for sure and that is there are three generational talents active today that are unapologetically rocking dad bods: Jokic, Luka, and Mahomes. Exciting times!
Luka is not a generational talent. Neither is Jokic. They are simply great PLAYERS, but not generational talent. Luka is an extremely good scorer. Jokic is an extremely good playmaker . A generational talent is Victor Wembanyama. The things he does at 7’4 has never been seen…EVER. I’d say Mahomes is generational as a QB. He’s definitely the most purely talented QB ever. FUN FACT: BEFORE yesterday's SB...Mahomes was already a lock first-ballot HOFer. There is no debate about that. Therefore, this 3rd SB win and SB MVP award are a part of his SECOND HOF trajectory. AND he is only 28 years old. Brady's "2nd HOF career" that many like to cite, did not begin until his mid-thirties. Let THAT sink in. And don't @ me about comparing these 2 QBs. Had Mahomes lost this SB, many of you Brady fans would've pounced and said the loss disqualified him from ever being in the GOAT convo--like 99% of MJ fans claim about Lebron--due to his Finals losses. Therefore, by default, the inverse is true. Mahomes won his 3rd chip, so you MUST move him closer in the GOAT convo. That is being objective and fair. And don't start with your BS goalpost-moving, armchair criteria: "Welll...Mahomes must win 3 more chips in cities whose names have 8 letters or more" "Welll...Mahomes must not throw an INT for 87 straight possessions. 87 cuz that's my granny's age". "Welll...Mahomes needs 4 more All-Pro selections with exactly 53 votes each--20 of which identify as women"

It is very clear who the goat is and it’s mahome’s to lose if he drops off. It’s unfair to Mahomes and actually silly when you think about comparing the longest qb career against a very short sample size. Doesn’t actually make sense. Put em side by side. And currently Mahomes is the goat because he is winning by far his first 6 seasons. Brady was carried by the defense. Mahomes has always been the center of the team. Brady pretty much always had a really good defense but everyone acts like Mahomes is docked for his defense the last few years.
It’s gonna be fun to see Pat continue to play , Tom’s highlight reel is so vast, and by the time Tom was in his later years , he became the smartest qb to ever take a snap, and it will be cool to see Pat get more on that level , as he ages , it will be cool to see pat age , and looking forward to what he does, and Brock is nice also , I think he gonna get one in this decade and prove people wrong.

He's got 2 without a number 1 receiver and you're mad.
Think bigger. The NFL wants the Chiefs to be "AMERICA'S TEAM" the league is going to do everything it can to make sure KC passes the Cowboys in sales and popularity.
Thank you Dan!!! People really saying they expected the chiefs to win the Super Bowl this year, no tf they didn’t, because they had a terrible season. It was granted. Playoffs is a different ball game and you have to be ready for it. The chiefs were men amongst boys, had nothing to do with talent cause every team they faced were better (talent wise)
I’ll never understand why people think that someone with far less talent and physical abilities (Tom Brady) who actually accomplished more, can somehow not be the GOAT; if somebody with far more talent and physical abilities (Patrick Mahomes) is required to do less, and somehow become the goat himself? Why do we keep moving the goalposts? He should have to break every single record Tom Brady owns, and then invent some sort of machine, that will allow Mahomes to be in his mid-40s, and then beat Tom Brady in his mid to late 20s Not once… but twice in championship games! The point is to win the games. And nobody has done that more than Tom Brady. 🤫💯
SAS does not get it. He takes Mahomes for granted. This year was different for the Chiefs. They did not have offense. They had the defense and Mahomes. SAS makes it seem like being down 10 pts in the Super Bowl is nothing.
Yeah what mahomes did this SB was a masterpiece. He threw to dudes outside of kelce (which he himself had problems this year) who he didn't trust to catch the ball. Got over 2 fumbles, a botched snap, a pick and some of the best front four pass rush we seen in a SB and still went down the field in OT and won.
SAS's job is to simply create debate or offer a contrarian opinion to stir up conversation. Pretty sure he says a lot of things he doesn't believe in 100%
But even when he won the 5th one he was the goat but their was because people were saying Aaron Rodgers was better than Brady and those was also a conversation was it or him or Belichick so to me he really didn’t become the undisputed GOAT until he won in Tampa
I don't think so. Montana played in a different league with no cap. Mahomes is on a faster pace with more adversity. One more SB has him passing Montana and an MVP gets him at the Montana 's door. Both supersede him. Brady though is a very longer gap. Especially since Brady beat him in a SB.

And don't start with your BS goalpost-moving, armchair criteria:
"Welll...Mahomes must win 3 more chips in cities whose names have 8 letters or more"
"Welll...Mahomes must not throw an INT for 87 straight possessions. 87 cuz that's my granny's age".
"Welll...Mahomes needs 4 more All-Pro selections with exactly 53 votes each--20 of which identify as women"
This was a fun read as a casual. If he becomes the first to get a 3 peat is he above Brady? Or would he have to still match his 7? Again I’m more of an NBA fan so don’t know what weighs more in terms of legacy for QBs.
@@deviantanomaly for me, he doesnt need 7 rings. Brady fans say he needs 7 because they know that is super hard to do. Just like MJ fans tend to say u need to be 7-0 in Finals to unseat MJ. Lazy arguments, in my opinion.
