i have the rtx 2060 i5 10400f version of this desktop with the 0M6C7G motherboard, i was wondering if there is another M.2 slot so i could put another ssd.
I'm watching the video from Mongolia. I bought a Dell G5 i7 10700f and RTX 3060 ti dekstop 14 days ago.6 million MNT in Mongolian currency. That's $ 2,105.2.. When I bought it, I trusted the dell company. But I soon found out that people were dissatisfied with the computer, which was full of the Internet. The main problem was CPU overheating. So I studied. First I had to get a Cpu cooler. I also had to get a fan to improve the airflow. But I don't know which model of CPU cooler fits the motherboard. Also (power supply) is a concern. In addition to the 3 fans, the capacity will increase when installing the CPU cooler. I don't know how to do it all right. You also need to learn how to connect the plugs properly. And I'm sure that teaching well like this video will solve many people's problems. Thank you for your help

In your judgement what are some early upgrades people should consider? I have heard of some people upgrading the exhaust fan to something quieter and cooler. Others talk about adding a larger SSD or HDD.
Removing the HDD and adding SSD for better air-flow. There is a really decent amount of air-flow on the front intake when the HDD isn't there. Put a 92MM on the intake with a 4-Pin PWM Y Splitter. The rest is just fun after that. I adjust my Alienware Command Center settings to run the CPU fan at higher RPMS/Heat Ratio and with this setup I can play for hours without exceeding 50* Cels... prior to my 85* Cels.. Hope you enjoy your unit!

I would not recommend doing that. First, the original dell power supply does not come with 24pin + 4pin connectors to the motherboard. It is proprietary PSU for this motherboard.

I then used a 4-Pin 2-Way PWM Splitter Cable from my rear fan/motherboard and attached the 92MM as a front-intake. I upgraded my Ram by adding two additional sticks of 2x8GB 3200mhz. But they seem to be throttled down to 2400hz from 2933mhz. Is this expected or is there anything else I can do? My CPU is the i7 10700
Great video, I want to upgrade my ram to 32GB (2 - 16) but I don’t know if the computer will handle it MHz wise. I got the I5 core meaning I can only hold 2936 MHz or something around that were as the ram I want to get say it is 3000 MHz. Just don’t want to get the ram and find out I can’t use it.
That board I believe is capped @ 2933Mhz. You can put any Ram Modules in there with higher Mhz, but it just won't exceed 2933 by the board specs. I have the i5 9940F and learned this when I wanted to upgrade early on. Best option would be to run 4x8GB sticks @ 2933 Mhz to obtain better speeds/smoothest operation. That way you're using all 4 channels. Hope this helps.

thought he forgot to mention the hard drive until the end lol, I needed this info!
You are welcome. Glad the video helped
I upgraded my Ram by adding two additional sticks of 2x8GB 3200mhz. But they seem to be throttled down to 2400hz from 2933mhz. Is this expected or is there anything else I can do? My CPU is the i7 10700
it’s because your motherboard doesn’t allow those high speeds you can put and xmp through bios to reach those speeds if your motherboard allow it’s
Can you tell me which exact sticks of 8 gb ram you bought? I bought 2 sticks of 8gb but it didn’t work or wasn’t compatible…
@@zawarust i bought 2 sticks of 16 gb corsair vengeance rgb. they worked fine for me
@@caubiy thanks man! Appretiate it
Great video, I want to upgrade my ram to 32GB (2 - 16) but I don’t know if the computer will handle it MHz wise.
@Ryan Sweet is right. If you need 32gb, just run 4x8gb RAM. Hope this link helps: amzn.to/3fAtO4S
HELP! so my boss gave me his son's g5 5090 desktop (because he built a better computer) with everything except for the C drive. i have a fully equipped gen 9 i7/1660 ti computer with RAM but no hard drive. can you please help me with figuring out how to replace the C drive? is there a place to download the Dell windows OS?
The C drive might be M.2 NVME. Try check your motherboard
I watched a video and it over heated really quickly. Is that true? I want to play games like cod, csgo or other shooter games
It does get hot. But you can always upgrade a better heatsink, intake and exhaust fan.
Can I put two 3.5 Hard drives into this PC?
You can do TWO 2.5". or ONE 3.5"
Thank you for the video, quite useful! I added a stick of RAM and an NVME SSD for booting and couple games. Do you know the size of the fans? I might replace those. And is the Motherboard able to be taken out? If so, do you know what size it is? I'm thinking of getting a new case and powersupply. I only got this desktop because I got a good graphics card with it during a sale. Thank you!
You can't change to a new case. Has to be dell itself case.
