Actually, Colchester is in both Orwell's 1984 (where it gets nuked, fun fact) and H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. Ah, the 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' house-if only I’d known at the time! Unfortunately, my historical knowledge doesn’t come with live updates. Thanks for the heads-up!
