Welcome back guys! Mondays just got bearable again.
I love these 2 guys and I find that I watch the clock on the wall more than I should. I can always tell when it's late though by looking at my friend Pete's bags under his eyes. Late sessions Pete starts showing sign's of wear, but go figure why Mick always looks like he is ready to go? They are great together! I never miss an episode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it would be great to hear what you guys use in your gigs vs just commercial showcase. You are both very talented musicians so to know what your prefer would be helpful. I realize you are asked to showcase certain guitars and amps but give us a real world of what you truly believe in and makes a difference in your performances.

Great video but not sold on this amp from the tones I heard here. Could be the piezo pickup. Wish some of the main stream acoustic amp manufacturers focused on obtaining the natural sound of the guitar and vocals.
Can we see a shootout of the best acoustic "busking" SETUPS? Not just amps. Like a good setup for the feet too. Obviously amps/PA is important but nobody ever shows the tops acoustic amps being ran through different PA's/pedalbords.

Mick is a brilliant player and gear nerd, but is a bit stiff. Thank god is Pete there to light up the review a little bit, the guy is lit as fuck :D
The reason why their relationship works is that Mick is genteel and reserved, but has a great sense of humour, while Pete is a genuine lunatic, a proper 150% madman, permanently wired... all about balance and give/take... and sometimes Mick really comes out of his shell and proves that he's naturally funny...
those loop jams remind me of Phil Keaggy, that's good thing. I think that amp is gonna be my very first, and most likely..last, acoustic amp.

Awesome in depth review.. I don't see it mic'd, so I'm assuming the audio was recorded via the balanced outs with the effects switch in the 'mix' position?
I love the gear and gizmos presented on these shows, but the inescapable irony is that when listening to Mick and Pete playing it's clearly more practice that I need more than stuff. Well, that and a shirt that would make Barbara Cartland look like a mousy lesbian.

Thing I like most about this review is it isn't done just to sell the product. It's actually a 'warts an all' review. I was thinking of buying one of these but you both outlined a couple of things I thought it would do but doesn't. Would have been really disappointed to buy it without realising that. Having said that tho you didn't undersell it either. Great review guys.
Without a doubt the BEST product review I have ever watched on UA-cam. Incredibly informative, bloody hilarious, which meant that I watched it to the end (rare for me). I even went and bought one. I would have bought it off of you guys but I live on the other side of the World sorry. Cheers!!!

+Bill Evans We know Mick uses an AER Compact 60. Pete we know he uses various different acoustic amps, but he mostly uses a Lehle Acouswitch as his DI. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching.

You guys should do a show where you feature one amp, and have viewers request which pedals they'd like to hear with that amp.
Never quite got who or what acoustic amps are for, except buskers. For home playing youc an hear the acoustic, for recording you can di a pickup or use a mic, for live you can feed into the desk. I guess small pub gigs without a pa - but seems unlikely they wouldn/t even have some kind of pa and desk. Just wondering.
