People recommended some other acoustic amps to me, they are a bit cheaper but I didn't agree they sounded up to anything but practice quality to my ear. Very impressed and would consider this even if only for tone and the reverb quality, the rest is just a bonus. Have to wait a few more months before I could get the extra cash, but not a problem as this would be my amp for life. Just got one more thing to check and that's how does a nylon sound through it. Past experience suggests it would be ideal but would like to hear it first, so may have to visit a store which is a good few hours away. I may find a demo with a nylon yet, here's hoping. Attenuate switch is always a good move as it can double up for electric duties as well as long as you got some decent pedals or other characterful gear to treat it before it hits the amp.. Really loved your playing style, could listen to you play for hours.
I got the 120 watt singer pro.only thing i don't like is the shortness of the looper. This amp sounds good with my tele also.I took the line out to a fender rumble 40 with a guitar speaker, and it really fattens up the vocals and guitar.pretty cool.
Yeah I actually went ahead and purchased the Ditto X2. Sure it’s one extra pedal to lug, but it’s also ONLY one extra pedal. Made a world of difference.
I just bought the smaller one, love the sound, exactly what I was looking for...except....I have the FS-7 and I guess I'm too technically challenged to make it work right. Don't know if I have it hooked up right, and sort of doubt it. Back to the store I guess, which is 50 miles away. But the sound is great on this amp.
Roger Williams hey Roger..just wanted to ask if the smaller one Acs live 60 watts enuf for a small gig? Basically is it loud enuf to be heard by a small group without compromising the sound clarity?
David, I think it is, I have not done a gig with it yet, but it is pretty dang loud, yes. I live in a brick home and my wife and son say they can easily hear me on the street which is 40 yards away. lol I wish I could answer your question, but we all know you can't until you do a gig...bodies soak up sound, and acoustics are different everywhere I ever played. I think my main concern will be hearing myself (I'm about half deaf) if it is very directional...may get some inner ear monitor just for help.
So, I’m looking to purchase one. It’s going to be for pub, small gigs and open mic nights. Will the 120 be loud enough for this if the places do not have the P.A. speaker systems ? The idea is just to basically carry the amp, guitar, pedals and mic components? Any info greatly appreciated.
So the 'live Light' version of the amp has a delay option on the guitar channel but the 'Live' and 'Pro' versions only have chorus option. The 'Pro' version also doesn't have an fx loop. Why would they do this?? it leaves no option to add delay to the signal chain. Or am I missing something here?
I did purchase this but want to use it with my PA system for larger gigs. I like the effects, for example, the reverb functions, acoustic resonance and chorus, but do I send this mixed to the PA and if so, do I use one DI cable ? Thanks in advance people ✌🏻
Too bad there isn't any video clip explaining how to work the Hermony feature with a foot switch. Just bought one and it doesn't want to toggle between Unison / High / Low.
loved your jam at the end! still a bit confused about the whole foot control thing, I've had this amp for about 2 months and its clear as mud, so I'll muddle on, haha
When I record a loop by pressing the button on the guitar amplifier, there is no problem in switching between the loops. But when I start with the footswitch and record the time between loops, I wait about 1 second and then start again, which breaks the rhythm. What would be the reason?
they should respond to questions like this about functionality. how do they expect people to enjoy these products and get the most from it? your question is clear and logical and you asked it a year ago. I would also like to know the answer. These peanuts should spend a little money on instructional videos. I bet the marketing person is related to someone important at the company. They're ultimately shooting themselves in the foot.
Hi, can we really connect second guitar to channel 1 which is labeled as mic? It seems to take only TRS input.... can you help me how I could connect second guitar there without blowing up the amp? Do I have to use a DI box between second guitar and amp?
The 60 watt "live" comes with a very basic harmony and loop (same box A and B) pedal. The 120 watt "pro" amp will set you back around $120 for a pedal. I just bought the live model.
Some help here. How it works this amp with an electroacustic guitar nylon strings? I saw many videos playing this acoustic amps but everybody with electroacustic guitar metal strings. I need some amp like this one but i wish to know if it works at the same level it doesn.t matter the strings or there is something specific for both guitars? thanks you... i am learning from this music guitar world
If you get the Pro version which has the voice harmony function you must plug the guitar to get the voices effects by the chords progressions while you’re playing and singing.
Saludos!!!
Tried to hook this amp to a sound board and there is a terrible feedback on the instrument side even if no guitar is even plugged in very. I contacted the company and they were ZERO help big waste of money !!!
that presentation was very unhelpful. I am feeling really annoyed. I bought this amp and the GA FC pedal. How about some straight forward and clearly labelled you tube videos explaining how to use them? Seriously , Boss is a massive company. Do I have to work it out on my own? I've been searching through garbage for 45 minutes. it should be easy to find. don't buy it if you don't know how to use it. it's a pain.
the effects are very good ... but this amplifier does not sound like a 30 watts and if you connect microphone is really unfeasible nor the feedback control of the account of the microphone and it is impossible to pass the volume of 3 you can see in the videos that the volume control is down there, very disappointed even ... I played 4500 outside !!! believe in this user do not buy this !!!
Im kind of sick of the Boss sound it has been the same for decades / the Yamaha sound design tek of the THR series is way more innovative n lush IMO ...but this amp has more output power n very cool I/O options available on the back
This is a great demo for those who have just bought this amp and need a run-through on each of its capabilities! Just what I needed, thank you..
One of the best explicit video about this amp! Thanks a lot :)

Nylon strings sound superb. I have this amp.

Is there any way to extend the limited 40 second loop?

Thanks Roger!! You've answered the question perfectly... that's what I was looking for!! I will get mine soon.. :)

I have a Genz-Benz Acoustic pro-lite, but I have to use a tc-Helicon to get vocal harmonies. This would simplify that. I want one.....NOW!!!

Too bad there isn't any video clip explaining how to work the Hermony feature with a foot switch. Just bought one and it doesn't want to toggle between Unison / High / Low.
It's not designed that way. It's designed to switch harmony type you want on and off.
loved your jam at the end! still a bit confused about the whole foot control thing, I've had this amp for about 2 months and its clear as mud, so I'll muddle on, haha
So it doesn't do three-part harmony?

Salut jolie demo Que me conseillerais-tu entre le boss Singer Acoustic pro et acus one 5 .6 ou 8 merci
Thank you for video! Is it enough for rehearsing with bass and drum set and can it be not too loud and noisy for home? I need just one amp for both.
Hi, can we really connect second guitar to channel 1 which is labeled as mic? It seems to take only TRS input.... can you help me how I could connect second guitar there without blowing up the amp? Do I have to use a DI box between second guitar and amp?
I have acoustic live 60 very kool amp plus I’m learning more off of you
Is it true the loop plays for a second when you are trying to clear it? That would be annoying to a live audience.
can you connect a drum machine to the acoustic live thanks ??
What about a Foot Controller for the Boss Acoustic singer amp series?
Foot control for Guitar and Mic effects?
The 60 watt "live" comes with a very basic harmony and loop (same box A and B) pedal. The 120 watt "pro" amp will set you back around $120 for a pedal. I just bought the live model.

I read that the Ibanez Troupadour is better for nylon string?
What would be a good amp for singing? Is the boss acoustic good without guitar or is guitar needed
If you get the Pro version which has the voice harmony function you must plug the guitar to get the voices effects by the chords progressions while you’re playing and singing.
What dose pad button do
How long is the looper?
Please the recommended pedals??? Thanks!!!
Is it better the the Fishman loudbox artist series?
Thank\s for the reply the Fishman does look decent have to check them out.Alway's been a Boss fan though.
@Garret I was about to buy this 120w version....so this isn't 120 watts at all?
there a fair bit of booming in the back ground, mr feedback amp i think, and way expensive
Do the pedals come with the Amp

Great demo. What kind of prs model is that?
It is a PRS Angelus with koa back and sides. Lovely!
A little disappointed that it's doesn't have battery power and Bluetooth.
.. Thank you for all words Mr.. but 'any harmony functions' critical lost ...
they can sell the product. they would sell more if they paid attention to current users. short sighted.

I’ve bought this and I find it quite fine and very usable,I play upto 300 people makes a great monitor
It’s good to get alternate opinions but this guy posts the same nonsensical comment in many videos for this amp.

Not a good review for the vocals...good for guitar.

Your singing too low to hear the tone
Completely blew off any vocal demonstrations of the amp.
Too much talking...
Must learn to listen
