Feeder Fishing on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal! 🎣

- It's early April and the predators are spawning so it's time to give them a break. I had a few hours free to fish and headed down to my local canal. I knew we were expecting storm Kathleen to bring in some strong winds but braved it anyway in search of some spring tench or bream. It was a tough couple of hours but worth the effort and has lit a fire in me to really give some time to other species this year as well as the pike and perch! Hope you enjoy the video! 🎣

You’ve made a bit of a school boy error, with the black magic wafters. They are semi buoyant. You should have pinched on a BB about half inch from the hook just in case the weight of the hook doesn’t keep it “wafting” off the bottom to much. It was also pointless loose feeding them, as they would have floated off down the canal.
You got me 🤣 I haven’t used them before and just went all in with them 😅 Good to know that info for next time, thank you 🙏🏼

I think I came on the canal while you were fishing. Conditions were tough that day and I stayed about an hour

@@theflossingfisherman7925 korum all rounder 1.25lb - comes with three different tips 1oz, 2oz and a 3oz. It’s a great rod, I use it on the river a lot 🎣
