Yet another local fishery review. This weeks review brings us to a beautiful woodland fishery by the name of Gingham fisheries.
Located right at the top of Gingham Brow in Horwich. Gingham is an old fishery and a deep one. Reasonably relaxed rules and a cheap but quality days fishing. We decided to approach the fishery with the usual method feeder tactics.

It's nice to see you chose the correct pegs, the peg you were in is the one I always fish, usual tactic on there for me is 2 rods on alarms, one in the middle and one down the margin. When it's fishing well you'll be in trouble with the double hook ups. Next time you go wizz a feeder over to the drainage pipe on the left and hang on hehehe. I'm glad you liked the fishery as per recommended 😁😁

@@WestysAngling yes m8 fished all the sides and the pegs you were in seemed to produce the better results. There's some nice tench in there too and the bream are massive. Plenty of bait with goo or dip brings them in. And in summer late afternoon pellet waggler 8 or 10mm and hang on to your rod hehehe

Glad you had a good day mate my go to local place carp are crazy in there. The depth is 5/6 foot on the right hand side as you walk on and slopes of to 14 foot on the other bank on the left wear you see the pipe going into the water

Hiya, what a nice days fishing, apart from the weather, but then again you northern lads are weather proof, not like us softies down in London. I thought the lake was great, as you said cosy. I've been on there a few times. Usually get about 12-20 carp on a normal day. I prefer to just fish the one rod on the bomb & 10mm pellet. Constantly feeding pellets all day over the spot. I don't fish close in due to the rocks in the margins. I tend to fish to the middle. But yes it's great value for money for 5 quid. That corner you pointed out on the far side is a good spot for them to. Give it a go 👍

Good place ginghams I fish it alot feeder very close in or dog biscuits on bubble out in middle should easy do 10 to 20 carp in a session I have had them up to 17lb but mainly 5 to 8lb an they fight like mad cause its deep
Margins dude cracking place some serious steam train carp in there make sure your have heavy tackle otherwise they will snap you nice vlog as always tight lines dude👍 😉.

You should try firswood fisheries in skem its easily one of the top fisheries in the north west, any peg is perfect and theres a sunken island on the bigger pond, also what umbrella do you use

He had a fair few fish, including a stonking perch … but got broke by every carp

Another great video Westy & a good days fishing. As a disabled Angler wouldn’t be suitable for me but just nice to see you & you Dad catching. A question please, been using Korum large method feeders & am trying some of the MAP Embed Large 32g feeders with the line clip but they dont seem to make a mould for the MAP ones, any suggestions for a suitable method feeder mould that would take this size MAP feeder as the Korum mould is massive compared to the MAP one,thanks
Hi Mike ! You don’t need a mould with banjo style feeders simply thumb the bait in as you see me doing on the videos with my own brand method feeders ! Which are a lot cheaper than the map feeders. @@WestysAngling Thanks for your quick reply, I’m not convinced either about the MAP line clip. Is it your Banjo feeders that you are using with the Korum Camo Bolt beads ? It’s hard finding inserts that actually fit well in the method feeders & some are so small & fiddly to connect up having paraesthesia in my fingers. If you can confirm about the Banjo feeders I’ll order some from you tomorrow with some baits as my helper is taking me fishing this afternoon
My helpers took me fishing yesterday, caught a few nice carp & every one of them was on a Westy Wafter, only had 1 bite on a Cell wafter which came to nothing. Enjoyed it so much & gave me confidence in your Wafters, so thank you Westy, though the Missus wont be happy when I receive the large order I made last night. Typical, I missed todays Hinders Offer
