There may be another reason to pull out Wagners of Bakmuth: the command lines will be more close and dircet what is important for the russian command structure! -Russians have order-orientated command behaviour since Wagners may have task-orientated order-structure. The last one is the most successfull - but requires more competence of each member of the troups. - but is there for more flaxible...It something goes wrong the local commander can decide himself what to do. But the command-orientated has to request new commands...

I believe Ukraine is bluffing with the big offensive. I don't believe they have the ammunition to waste on a futile offensive. They have problems just defending. They might have the soldiers, might have the equipment but they don't have enough ammunition. That is their greatest problem at the moment. Equipment means nothing if you don't have the ammunition. Once Bakmut and Adivka fall, I expect Russia will begin making huge gains and the collapse of Ukraine begins.

    @MoMo-pd5hu Рік тому +95

Thank you Dima! It is nothing new when you see such numbers. It is exactly what the Russians know how to do the best, especially in fortified areas. The Russian artillery and aviation have been doing this since the beginning of this military operation. Even on the Keminya front, where everyone said that Russians cannot fight in the forest, only if you see the videos from the last week you will understand what a disaster it is for the Ukrainians. The same pattern, a few drones and then a rain of shells over the trenches. On the Kupyansk front, the Ukrainians lost 3 Polish KRAB guns in five days, all confirmed by video. I don't recall the other types here, because it has become a routine for the Russians to destroy M777 or Soviet-made guns. The main culprits for these results are LANCET drones, Orlan-30 drones and Krasnopol shells. This combination is unbeatable. Again about this Ukrainian chimera, named "Leopard, Bradley or Challanger". In short, none of these tanks are better than the T 90-M, at least if we look at the technical data sheets. And many Leopard 2 tanks received are at the level of the T72-B3M. Then how many Ukrainians have? One hundred? Under what conditions will they use them? On the entire Ukrainian front, is not even one square meter where the Russians do not have air superiority to which is added the superiority of the artillery. I said before the combination of LANCET, Orlan-30 and Krasnopol shells. If we add ATGM Kornet, the variants with a range of 6-9 km, then it is clear to everyone that any "greatest" Ukrainian counteroffensive will have the same fate as soap bubbles. This without taking into account the experience of the Russian soldiers, the tactics applied as well and the many other types of weaponry. As dangerous as the weapons is another surprise prepared by the Russians : the reward !!! For 172 thousand dollars, for each tank from the west handed over in working condition, I think it will be a race between the Ukrainians to hand over the tank faster. Two days ago I said something about Kherson, something is happening there. This morning the Ukrainians lost another S300 anti-aircraft system. It's a promising start, but the good guys are still working on other targets. Let's have a little patience and we will find out more good news....

Knowing the showman Zelensky, he'll time the offensive to coincide with a US/UK/EU war conference in order to highlight his appeal for more money/weapons. The operational conditions will be secondary, and the number of Ukrainian lives lost will hardly matter to him. By this stage, the military general staff know well enough how ready he is to sacrifice lives for a media victory, and share the guilt for the unnecessary slaughter of their soldiers.

Ukrainian would have been better off selling off those tanks on the black market as millions of euroes worth of tanks will be otherwise burned out. Of what use are 100 tanks on a 1200km frontline, anyway? Tanks may have been the decisive weapon in WWI -- that is why Russians are ridiculing all the Ukrainian hype over tanks as if they would have any power whatsoever to determine the war winner in this day and age. In WWII the decisive weapon was probably aircraft, in the Yugoslav-Croatian war, it was drones in the end, and in this war, it is artillery, that is, the amount of artillery ammo, as but also the threat of hypersonic weapons such as cruise and ballistic missiles may be a game-changer. Since WWII, military technology has naturally advanced, thus the winner is not who has more tanks or better aircraft but who has more manpower, ammunition and hypersonic missiles. What's the use of tanks when you don't have enough ammo for it, anyway?! Air defense has become so strong that air strikes are considerably incapacitated but hypersonic missiles are so developed that they are capable of overcoming adversary's missile-defense systems and reaching their targets undetected. The only problem is, there are not enough of them as they cant be mass-produced (Russia produces an estimated 200 per year). So this is more like a War of Drones, not tanks. Because of the muddy season, they wont be able to use tanks on those muddy roads for another couple weeks and all those weeks afterwards when it will rain. If they don't intend to sell them (remember, it is most corrupt country in Europe), they should save those tanks for defending Kyiv avenues.
In other words, it is not worth you wasting your time to talk about this topic of tanks on your channel that you constantly promote on Dima's channel

This reminds me of a YT conference I saw some years ago held at one of the reputed historic/military US think tanks, can't remember if it was Cato, Marshall ... The issue was precisely that in the US it was a also a common practice of firing underperforming generals, which does not meant they couldn't be recovered later on. The speaker reminded that the same day D-Day was taking place, those responsible for the bad intelligence regarding the Omaha Beach were fired ... FDR and Marshall efforts in renovating the US Army for WWII by retiring those generals with "old mindset" what they called "rotten wood" and promote more unorthodox and innovative thinkers like Bradley, Patton, Eisenhower ... ...
This habit, common also in the private business, ceased after the Korean War. The list is quite long starting with Westmoreland, with the exception of several top performers. Their only advantage is that the US military's superior firepower masks and corrects mistakes.

He organized everything and still does, otherwise, we would see a big fat failure again, like last year, when they attacked from 6 fronts and got crushed and then tried to sell it as "anything is according to plan". To avoid prosecution, the gangster oligarchs simply outfitted and trained their street crews as paramilitary nationalists, like Azov, and offered these units in the service Ukraine, as "police" and "soldiers." That's why there's so many paramilitary nationalists in Ukr. Donbas civilians, all through Vice News vids, aren't fooled, and call them gangsters.

This is a very good video. So far at least ( I am five minutes in). Very good. Because it stresses and is all about the actual combatants.
And the main thing about 'the combatants' is that the unknowing sheep in the West let their governments rob them to fund Kiev in this war because they believe the only combatants are Russia and Ukraine.
And they think (without actually doing any thinking) they they are supporting the poor little Ukrainian nation against a big bully Russia.
Which is not the truth at all and in fact it is really entirely the other way around.
So this is a much better video than those we usually see but it still won't hurt if I print my usual little piece which attempts to spell out the truth to those people who do not know. So here it is:
Don't let the way he talks make you think this is 'Russia v Ukraine' because it is NOT.
When he says 'Russian' forces he really means 'Ukrainian And Russian' forces.
    DONBAS Ukrainians and Russians.
They fight together, side by side.
The Russians helping the Donbas Ukrainians repel the invading Kiev Ukrainians.
The Kiev Ukrainians (those are the ones the Americans call 'the Ukrainians' and the ones who are the invaders, the aggressors, the extremists and the Nazis, the Stefan Bandera (look him up) worshippers, have been occupying Donbas Ukrainian land since 2014.
When he says 'Ukrainian' he just about always means only the Kiev Ukrainians. This is in line with the lying USA and Kiev narrative which wants you to think there are only two players: Ukraine and Russia. Everyone talks like this. It is a propaganda coup.
    No. There are three players:
'North' Ukraine we might call it which is Kiev Ukraine and extremist Ukraine and 'nationalist' Ukraine which is sworn to building a 'pure' Ukrainian State after the style of the Nazis building a 'pure' Aryan German state. The decided to do that by oppressing, re-educating, victimising the Southern, Donbas Ukrainians who traditionally have much Russian connection.
'South' Ukraine we might call it which are the Donbas Ukrainians the North decided to 'ethnically cleanse' and exterminate for the crime of having Russian connections.
    And Russia.
Three players. At the centre. And a host of malignant evil manipulators, leeches, provocateurs and profiteers on the side extending from USA to Kiev and encompassing the whole Western world.
Now the Russians are helping the Donbas Ukrainians because someone should and we won't, we ignored them for eight years and longer and because of the Russian connection and because the whole thing is an attack on Russia anyway after the style of putting missiles in Cuba was an 'attack' on the USA and we know what the Americans thought of that: they were willing to have a global nuclear war rather than tolerate it.
So okay? 'Russian' when he says it means 'Donbas Ukrainians and Russian help'
'Ukrainian' when he says it means Kiev Ukrainians ( and USA help and every pusillanimous stinking little lapdog of theirs doing their bidding. )
And the Donbas Ukrainians just don't figure in his narrative generally. But they should. Because that's what started it all.
And the fact that the fighting is ALL ON Donbas land that Kiev/USA has invaded generally doesn't figure either.
The fact that there's not one Russian boot on Ukrainian land where it was not invited and welcomed generally doesn't get a mention either.
Just saying. Because without forewarning listening/watching could give you the impression this is simply 'Ukraine' fighting off 'Russian' aggression.
Which is what the evil empire wants you to think. And which is entirely what it is NOT.
If you want to help Ukraine and Ukrainians help bring it to a STOP. Keep Ukrainians - on BOTH sides - ALIVE.
Kiev and Washington want dead bodies. Let them fight each other. The world will be well rid of them.

Great Hawkeye vision and analysis of the fronts as Always- General Dima!
I have few topics to add on this, in my novice opinion and ask for your inputs:
    1. Ukraine Owners- zElensky has sold off more than 6million hectares (2+ size of Crimea) of land to mostly American and NATO corporations and families since 2012. As such, when Russia has taken away about 35% of those lands, zElensky has no option but to throw everything to save his life, and indebtedness, unless he disappears.
    2. The ISW is as fake, as only sometimes when its forced to speak the truth- few times, so isn't reliable everytime.
    3. In Ugledar, the same Ukraine land owners have supplied over 6000 artillery rounds with RAAMS - A shell each comprising of 9×half kilo mines that have been scattered around by the Ukro artillery squads. That's 56,000 mines everywhere !
    4. After your info Dima, I would favor the 155 DPR to be on the top with Wagner(my favorites w. Akhmat) on the top!
Thank you so much for your time everyone.

By all appearances, the Russians are taking the "Great Ukrainian Offensive" seriously, despite Zelensky's whining about the inadequacy of weaponry to mount an offensive.
In the interim, the suggestion is that the Russians are currently keen on destroying the Ukrainian C&C headquarters, in the Ukrainian rear areas. More of the same is likely to be seen, in the near future.
Enough time has gone by that the Bakmut defenders should be showing signs of depletion of their general logistics; but that obviously remains to be seen.
Even if Zelensky actually launches a Bakmut 'rescue' operation, the attacking Ukrainian forces would be marching straight into a very serious Russian meat grinder, at best.
In the meantime, the replacement of the Wagner forces in the Bakmut area indicates the confidence of the regular Russian forces to close the deal in Bakmut; with a rush to do the same in Adiivka.
With the new Russian general, it sounds like there is going to be a serious effort to quickly bring the Ugledar scenario to a close, as well. That may amount to a radically increased artillery barrage.
In this mix, the Russians have been successful at increasing their use of aviation assets on the frontlines. It will be interesting to see how that plays out in the near future.
Add the Russian successes at hunting down Ukrainian artillery pieces, of different kinds, including tanks.
The Ukrainians are clearly in a state of desperation; and the Russians obviously appreciate that as a threat - and an exploitable weakness.
Thus, the Russians are probably going to step up their attacks on any Ukrainian troop/equipment concentrations, before the Ukrainian 'muddy season' is over - especially in the Zaporesia region.
Lately, the Russians seem to have been conservative in their missile attacks, suggesting that they are both conserving their missile inventory and a change in strategy.
At the present, the Ukrainians seem to be more intent on harassment and distraction tactics, than serious counterattacks; although their defenses are obviously worthy of all due respect.
Whatever the case, we should soon see some major changes on the battlefields.

This is just a matter of time. War is won when the enemy army is destroyed, the territory will then be retaken. War is also maths : Russia's military industrial complex is able to do what NATO can't. And ukronazis loss ratios being way higher than russian one, 2024 seems like a fine prediction for the end of this conflict and the return of Kiev under Russian control. Romania Hungary and Poland would then retake their shares of "ukraine".

Arrogantly and vainly, and above all, stupidly, he thinks that his subordinate soldiers are there exclusively to treat his complexes and feed his vanity!
Don't get me wrong, all the generals in most armies on this planet are the same except, say, North Korea!
I am a lieutenant colonel in one of the European armies, I have been doing this job for 35 years and I can freely say that my superior general would be twice as bad as what the commander of the 155th brigade showed. My "divine" commander lost a greater percentage of soldiers in peace than some generals lost in war a hundred years ago... the people simply turned and walked away from the fool!

Very easy to locate in google maps).
When they asked for re-supply and assistance, they were told to withdraw since nothing such was planned, as they were expected to fail.
I was told that the 155th commander had a quite "physical" discussion after the withdrawal, with the overall commanding officer (Muradof)
That's another proof to the "Peter’s Principle" according to which, in any hierarchical organization, all jobs are in fine held by incompetent persons.

This fits in well with the report that, further north, 400 Ukroid troops have been sent to their eternal reward. The pullout means that the civilians of Donetzk (Доне́цк) will have less anxiety about being murdered by indiscriminate shelling from the Avdéevka area. And with 400 fewer troops, Zelsky and Biden will be less able to boast about how victorious they are. Biden might decide to send another surveillance drone over Crimea so that after the Russians down it, he can claim that they are not playing by the rules. Oi Vey!
