Felt so much more relaxed after this! I woke up feeling anxious because I woke up late and I felt like I didn’t have time for myself and then I made time and did this and I just feel amazing! I’m always watching all your videos and I love them! They bring me peace! I’m so grateful for you!
During the shavasana, as you guided us through relaxing tension in our body and we passed over the hips, I instantly had a release of tears and an acknowledgment of all the fears that were stuck in my body. I can sit here now with myself and be a loving witness to the fear instead of dismissing it or ignoring it. Thank you Nico.
i spent all morning spiraling in my anxious thoughts and was determined to pull myself out of it. thank you for allowing me to feel less tense and anxious as i was before!
I have generalized anxiety as well as social anxiety, and while today was a good day overall I felt I needed a practice like this for me to have a good night's sleep without constant thoughts keeping me up. I really like how this practice took my mind off of those thoughts by focusing on breath, on balance, and on stretching my body. I'm sure I'll come back to this video many times in the future. (I have a Science of Yoga book and I really love looking up the scientific benefits of yoga and understanding what it’s doing to my body beyond the amazing descriptions you give when you can.) I really enjoy your channel! Luckily, I came across it at a time that I really need relaxation. I found out (within myself without a medical diagnosis - so I could be wrong lol but at the same time I get all the reassurance from God so I know I’m right..) that I have ADHD. It is something I’ve been dealing with my whole life unknowingly and you are a shining light because you have just given me a tool to NATURALLY relax and decompress my body. I want you to know (if anyone hasn’t already told you this ofc) that you have a GIFT. I’ve been on yoga apps and had sessions but the only thing that has kept me this serious and consistent with yoga has been coming across your channel. I know small youtubers don’t get enough fame and glory but I know that I will refer everyone that I meet (not only the ones that need relaxation from anxiety) to your channel because you have really helped me find peace.
