Kanami said she wrote this song over two years ago and filed it away. Some of the other members hadn't developed the skills to play it back then. They are always progressing and improving. Rock on Band Maid, rock on.
This song takes about 5 listens to start getting comfortable with it, then you start understanding how well crafted it is. The headlong dash aspect kind of obscures that at first.

Imho, it's fantastic; it's different from Onset (their other instrumental), but rocks out with creativity and style. I think you guys would love it. It's on Spotify.
Their upcoming shows being in Japan means I can't go to any of them, but I am excited for them to get back to doing live shows and being able to entertain a live crowd again. You can tell they've been having a hard time being holed up away from the adoring fans for all this time. They do their best with the online concerts but you can tell it's just not the same.

The fact that it's written as an Anime theme song it needs a frantic pace. I think the solo seemed to be buried due to Kanami being on shred mode from the opening measure. Normally there's a build up to it, there really nowhere to build up to here. Don't get me wrong, I adore this song. That being said, it's not as dynamic as many of their other songs. Of course it isn't designed to be, which makes it "Different".
