My 2013 MacBook Pro has a 17+7 pin arrangement, so these adapters don’t always work. Nice video. ✌️😎 from Wales 🏴.

Cool I just put a 512 ssd in my Toshiba laptop. Replaced spin drive. Was a bit more work than that. Soooooo much better!

I have one of these macbook nvme laying arround and i can´t figure it out how to use it. Can´t seem to find a carry disk adapter to convert it into an external ssd

Bro you had me dead after that it was hilarious! Funny thing is about the taser I just watched your video where you got it from Amazon and you tested it in your old apartment.
After you tested it and you said “You probably can’t hear it very well on camera but this thing is really loud, people are probably wondering what’s going on down the hall”. Then you were half tempted to tase yourself because you haven’t had it done to you since you were in training and then you were like “na I think I’ll pass. I don’t want to disrupt anything with my body”.
i forgot i had done that till i started editing the video a couple weeks later.. i was like OH! yea guess id id that!!
LOL so i was hanging out with a few friends and one of them dais "taze my arm!" so i did.. then i decided to try it on MY arm... actually couldn't feel much.. was kinda like a mild electric fence.. or felt more like a weird spasm hah! i got this one directly from Taser international :^) its a legit one!!

Hi! I installed the crucial P2 1TB in my MacBook Air mid 2013 with some adapters BUT never worked well: the laptop freezed, powered off without a reason. I installed 480GB OWC N2 disk and… works great without issues. P2 had 1200 GBit/s write and 1450 GBit/s read BUT as I have told - did not work well enough. OWC N2 is about 750 GBit/s write and 1450 GBit/s read. Works great.
nice! the only issue ive had since the swap, is not being able to use bootcamp anymore it ALWAYS fails after install - i guess the drive and adapters make a difference with things!
Weirdly these 2013-2014 models have been set/routed ssd to pci-e 2.0 instead of 3.0 like in 2015 which run at full 8G/s instead of 5G/s with 2.0, that results in 2300+ on gen.3 nvme drives. On fw 430..

have you tried using the internet recovery? you'll have to reinstall the OS after swapping in a new SSD.. there's a key combination on the keyboard when powering on to access it. just search google - the keys are different on all the models of computers
@@TotallyNormal- tried that once and it did not work If it's in the macbook it is not seen. It does not appear in disk utility. I put it in a usb enclosure and it boots just fine and is visible in disk utility. I think it might be the adapter so I have a different brand coming tomorrow to try.
yea.. the adapter used and also the brand of SSD makes a difference.. i had to try a few combinations to get something that worked. none of the adapters seem to have a brand name, but they're cheap, so i'd just buy a few and test them out
@@TotallyNormal- second adapter is a fail too. Beginning to think mac just doesn’t recognize Kingston drives internally
