I just want to say thank you to all of you for your wonderful comments, aside from the. Gentleman who said that I use autotune both live and on my recordings. I tried to explain to this person that I do not believe in Auto-Tune as I believe it is a total rip-off to the fans when I'm singing in the studio if I had a flat or sharp note I'll sing it again. Live if I had a flat or sharp note it's flat or Sharp you can listen to a lot of recordings of me singing live and there's plenty of notes here and that are not perfectly on key. Ever since I went back to wedges instead of in-ear monitors my pitch has suffered so I'm going back to any reminders in the next month so my picture we better there for the notes will be better and this overall sound will be better. I would never cheat the audience and do something with Auto-Tune or any other Gadget that corrects your pitch. I warm my voice up everyday and I've taken lessons for over 30 years I also teach so I guess it's almost a backhanded compliment if somebody thinks I sound well enough to where they think I'm using Auto-Tune no matter how ridiculous that notion is. But thank all the rest of you for realizing that I don't need the cheat to sound good. If it ever comes to that day I'll hang it up! But hopefully that's a long ways away God willing. Till then I'll be rocking you! Thank you for always being there for me you are the best people in the world as far as I'm concerned. Love to you all, Jack Russell

Saw these guys in high school and after (80’s & 90’s).....no we didn’t have auto tune back then. You had to have great pipes then! Mark Kendall is a totally underrated lead, his blues rock heavy guitar licks fucking kicked ass! EVH got all the press (totally love VH, all versions) but his style was completely different. As a ballad band GW is in great company at the top of the genre for the early 90’s. The lyrics are awesome and Jack Russell’s voice was absolutely one of the strongest out there. Sounds like he still has a pretty good one. Us old guys tend to lose the high’s and power! It’s too bad about the “formulaic” industry of the times that pigeon holed performers into specific categories of music and required them to look and sound a certain way. The internet wasn’t here yet so they were at the record companies mercy if they wanted an album released. I never was into the big hair (we all were longhairs then but Rock & Metal took it to extremes). Ditto for the skin tight leather, latex, and all the other crazy costumes. Take away the freak show and some of these bands made incredible music, some of the best ever! Anyway these were arena and stadium bands primarily but of course heavily influenced and “controlled” image wise by producers, record companies and the MTV phenomenon.
I'm actually trying to fight back tears. I bet his wife was a crying mess during this song. I was really skeptical about listening to this since so many 80s vocalists have lost their voice, but Jack still has it.

Really one of the nicest voices ever to listen to. Soulful, genuine, and sometimes even filled with pain that you can relate to. Really some of the best songs from the 80s era to listen to on great stereo equipment. Glad he's still doing his thing.

so lucky i was in my high school and college years in the 80s and got to live that, the last of the great decades. Thank you Jack and band for making your music , GW was always one of my favoritee.
Shawn C. Well if you haven't heard, let me preface that with saying I've never kept my life a secret I've always been open with my life personal and private. The hope is if I speak about these things possible that I can help someone think before they make the same mistakes that I have. My man addiction was alcohol it all started with that then it became prescription drugs painkillers after I had back surgery and also had surgery on my pelvis and my left leg these are all due to falling down drunk. I have degenerative disc disease and osteopenia which is a form of osteoporosis. Due to this my bones are very brittle, lucky me LOL. Seriously though I'm not complaining there are people have a lot worse off than I do in the world so I take what cars Life deals me and I do the best I can. And after that it was back to alcohol again until almost killed me I was in a coma for 5 days almost 3 years ago, September 20th I came out of 5 day, and the doctor told me if I drink again I would die. So I've been sober since that day on. My messages to anyone that will listen take care of yourself this is the only body we're given and when you're young you feel like you're indestructible but as I'm learning we're definitely not. Anyway I hope this clears up some questions you may have. My loves all of you and thank you for your wonderful comments. I have a long list of projects and albums coming out and also a book about my life before the end of the year. It's called dancing on the edge. Anyway enough self-promotion haha. I hope you all have wonderful time all the time, and take care of each other. Love always, Jack Russell

Favorite vocalist from the 80's alongside Jani Lane... two of the rare ones that could sing live, as good or even better than the records.. truly rare.. especially as the years go on.. kudos Jack !!!!!
Jack IS Great White and that voice is so soulful, powerful, and as beautiful as it has ever been. im so glad i was able to see Great White back in the day when Jack was fronting them. it was over in Allegan, Michigan at a festival called Fox Fest. Other bands were there as well, but the reason the performance of Great White still resonates with me today was due to the fact that it was after the night club fire and of course they had to replace Ty, but every song was just longer and Jack put so much into all of it and it was emotional

2017! I was at this concert! They rocked the house!!!!!
My good friend Raul showed me this song 6 years ago I still play this when it's time to close the kitchen down 🤘

3:45...that's Jack Russell. What an awesome dude!
Jack is amazing and he still sounds great just as good as he did when I saw him back in the 80s.
One of the best voices in not just rock but music.
Hi from Mexico-great song! There is true love. We added it to our playlist; virtual party
man his voice is still awesome !!!
Really one of the nicest voices ever to listen to. Soulful, genuine, and sometimes even filled with pain that you can relate to. Really some of the best songs from the 80s era to listen to on great stereo equipment. Glad he's still doing his thing.
I love you man, you defined my youth and I can never thank you enough for the memories, 18 in my 75 Camaro, blasting All Over Now! Thank you brother!
One of my favorite songs of all time I remember being in middle school listening to this. It’s 2023 and now I’m able to play this on guitar. Thank you great white. You guys rock

Jack we can't always have a perfect night, and yeah sometimes we crack but we don't shatter, for the 98 % that you didn't go sharp or flat who cares ,All I have to say to loud mouth critics is Where are your gold records and sold out shows, Your music has inspired untold thousands of musicians, and that song is one of the greatest Rock ballads of all time, My wife and I dance to it quite a lot, it and Rock Me, thanks for the great music and inspiration, and for being part the soundtrack to my teenage and young adult life ,Keep Rockin dude .
Sounds just the same as he did thirty years ago when I seen him. I've always said Great White is the best band I've ever seen live .
I remember I was suppose Togo to the Station .Thank God my wife at the time fought with me!
Body Mechanics wasn't your time!
He never got over the fire. You can just see the pain in his face 24 seven thank God his voice is still amazing so he has that to keep moving forward.
so lucky i was in my high school and college years in the 80s and got to live that, the last of the great decades. Thank you Jack and band for making your music , GW was always one of my favoritee.
This man is amazing. Love his voice!!!
Nice to see him back from a bad addiction.
what was his addiction?...i have not kept up
I think prescription meds, but i'm not 100% sure.
Jack Russell seen you a few weeks ago in Branson for the acoustic show. You NAILED IT on "Save All Your Love". Even Robby patted you on the back after. Lol Seen you twice this year. Will see you again if you come back to Branson. God bless!

Favorite vocalist from the 80's alongside Jani Lane... two of the rare ones that could sing live, as good or even better than the records.. truly rare.. especially as the years go on.. kudos Jack !!!!!
never forget the Station Night Club.......
Yep,after his bandmate was killed uou n that fire,he went into a very bad depression
@@johnbelcher889 GOOD....
@@deputyduffy It wasn’t his fault, you dipshit.
Got damn !! He sounds amazing still
Jack IS Great White and that voice is so soulful, powerful, and as beautiful as it has ever been. im so glad i was able to see Great White back in the day when Jack was fronting them. it was over in Allegan, Michigan at a festival called Fox Fest. Other bands were there as well, but the reason the performance of Great White still resonates with me today was due to the fact that it was after the night club fire and of course they had to replace Ty, but every song was just longer and Jack put so much into all of it and it was emotional
Perfect representation of 80s music Thanks Brothers
Thank you heather
