No, this is the band great white needs to be in the rock ‘n’ roll. Hall of Fame. God bless all the great white fans out there. We will never forget great white.
Jack Russell 1960-2024 and I never forgotten about him at all and I grew up with Great White in the 1980's when it was good time to rock and roll and I'm still heartbroken over his passing away from something terrible 😢 💔 😢
I just got the news and I am heart broken. Thank you Jack for all the years. In the early 80's I was driving to the beach listening to Street Killer. Now this weekend I will drive again and play it again. Rest easy, your music will go on forever!
Jack is holding on to the final strings of his chords...God bless him and the voice that witnessed many aspects of my life back in the day. I will always have the memories. Thank you Mr. Russell
RIP my friend!!! You are truly one of the best voices ever!!! You lived sex, drugs, and rock n roll and survived and lived to tell the tale. You inspired so many, including me! THANK YOU JACK! I was honored to meet you once in Indianapolis and you were the kindest! Your music will live on forever!!!!
The stories this dude must have. He definitely lived the life of 10 men and he looks it. Not an insult just a fact. The guy is in the same shape as Mick Mars. Crazy how all these guys made it thru the 80s and are still around to talk about it. God bless Jack Russell and all 80s Metal Legends 🤘🤘
This comment hits hard now that hes no longer. Dude lived his life to create memories and music and sing onstage....and he did it well till the end. Big props. Thanks Jack for rhe Inspiration to young me!
just rediscovered this band after finding out Jack Russells passed away. What a great performer he was and the band sounds amazing here. This is the real deal indeed. RIP Jack.
He is already missed! I've seen him a couple of times live. He had an awesome voice. My favorite song...ANGEL SONG...that is a hidden gem. He is jamming above.
Great singer, great guy to his fans. I met him three separate times and he was always super courteous. He’d take the time to talk to you and made it seem like you meant something to him, which I think all of us fans really did. I miss him terribly.
First time seeing Great White was in 1984 - and many times since. I hung out a bit with Jack and the band at one gig and they were very cool/nice. Damn, what a voice he had. And he didn't slouch on the live gigs - he gave it his all. The ultimate rock and roll singer.
In 2006, he began touring with the official Great White band when they reformed with their classic lineup, but left the band in 2009 due to a fall in his bathroom where he cracked two vertebrae and herniated a disc. He had multiple back surgeries and was using a plethora of pain medication. Having fallen into alcoholism, the sudden death of his good friend Jani Lane of Warrant, propelled him to get help and become sober. Fully recovered, although still struggling sometimes with back pain,he started touring again as Jack Russell's Great White in December 2011 to avoid confusion with the still-touring official Great White band which had continued onward in 2009 with a different singer following Russell's departure.
Damn give this man some props to be dealing with horrible health issues and still get on stage and belt it out like this is just incredible..RIP Jack and thanks for the music 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thankyou Jack for all the great music you brought to us that will live for eternity. Your memory will only get greater now as time passes by. Forever love you. Fly high
HE was so very nice!! Met him in Russell, KS, in 2003, when they played there. He said he loved playing under his name!! The Russell sign!! His band autographed my 1966 Melody Maker, and I got a GREAT photo with him, and the rest of the band!
How Deeply Sad!! R.I.P. Big Shark🦈 of Rock🤘 Jack What a Great White of Rock 🎶🎵...Your records your songs are and will always be with me...Rest in Peace Jack and "Rock me Forever" in the sky🦈🤘
Man it's good to see Jack still doing it. All the years, where have they gone? I wouldn't trade the memories for anything. Many beers, concerts and muscle cars to Great White. Thank you for the years!!
Time, ailments, etc catches up to us all….Glad to see him still on the pathway One of the better blues rock voices there has been Production is less to be desired One of the better biker bands in their heyday
What a trooper!! Voice sounded great - Physically you can tell he's struggling surreal to watch a lot of the 80s guys turn into old men while somehow the Stones carry on in their 80s. Banged a lot of Rock N Roll girls to this and save all your love in the 80s. Thanks, RIP Jack
@@rexsterling7346 awe man. I cld tell by the comment and? Saw ya posted it 4 min ago at the time.. so..yeah. 😔 Hopefully..he finds peace 🕊️ thanks for confirming
Jack was more awesome than most people know. About 40 years ago,Jack and Mark did an "unplugged" Vocal and acoustic guitar deal on an LA radio station. Awesome.
Great leads by both players, lots of soul, lots of feel ... no fluff .... no boring shred. Signed a shredder, lol. ALSO, Grooving drummer, solid bass player ... the band is comparable to Great White but sadly Jack is just getting by, I sure miss his prime. One of the greatest ever.
Poor man was suffering here OMG but still pulls it off! A truly brave performance Jack!! RIP brother :)
Sad😢but Jack still went OUT there and didn't let his health get to him,He loved performing,he will be missed😢💔
R.I.P. Jack, thank you for the great music and the memories
One of best voices in the history of Rock & Roll. RIP Master 🙏🏻🎶☀️

His version of Babe Im Gonna Leave You from Zeppelin was amazing 🤟🎤
Thanks for sharing that. A great way to hear him at his prime. They were at the top of the game in the 80's.
So was Since I’ve Been Loving You.
Yes better than Plant ever did….
My favorite version.
I just got the news and I am heart broken. Thank you Jack for all the years. In the early 80's I was driving to the beach listening to Street Killer. Now this weekend I will drive again and play it again. Rest easy, your music will go on forever!
Same here. Streetkiller was my favorite. Beach tune for sure. Sipping cold beer (illegally of course). Lol.

When that happened Jani filled in for Jack in Great White and fucking killed it.
I’m getting old😩 Where HAVE the years gone???? Jack is still giving it hell. Gotta give him that much. Love Great White. 👍🎸🥁🇺🇸❤️

God bless you Jack!
In this video he sounds pretty good for his condition😢. Long live Jack, he was a loving kind of legend. RIP
Jack Russell is a genius. Love his music.
