Same old Jets
I’ll never forget when rodgers went down, I had friends and family checking in and asking if it was okay even people I hadn’t talked to in years reached out to me. It was like there was a death in the family. Looking back I can laugh about it but man was it heartbreaking

The Jets season is going to come down to coaching and leadership from Saleh and the offensive coaching staff. I like Saleh as a person and as a defensive coordinator but he's not shown that he has what it takes to be a HC and that's continued into this off-season. I would feel much better about this season if the Jets cleaned house on the offensive side of the ball. I'm sure having Rodgers back will help but will they know what to do to make Taylor successful if something happens to Rodgers? I guess we'll see.
Hearing him talk makes last year even more depressing
The Bryce Huff loss I didn't like at all, even though he didn't play a ton of snaps, he was productive when he did get snaps. But getting kinlaw and Reddick made me forget all about it.
He didn’t want to play in this scheme. He wants to accumulate stats.
I think signing Kinlaw was a very under the radar move just like when we signed Solomon Thomas; First round talents!
@johng.4711 Nonsense. The Jets didn't want to pay him his worth because of their system "rotation".
Which is why Reddick won't play, nor does any legitimate superstar defensive player (Clowney, Campbell) want to come to NYJ.
When your stats dictate your worth, unless the Jets pay big (which they wont) the NYJ scheme rotation will only work for first contract players and 1 year fliers.
No matter what it all comes down to if saleh is gonna step up and be a head coach and a leader
I understand where cobb is coming from but plenty of QBs started rookie year and had success if you’re in the top 10 I feel like they should definitely be able to start

As a Jets fan, I'll say this about Cobbs Zach Wilson: Take Zach, who had his shot, and he wiffed on it. I mean, how much time does a guy need? But also, I think the Jets did not develop him much like Sam Darnold they let him down so oth things can be true

Rodgers only had a top 5 defense once in his career with the packers and that was the year he and the packers won the superbowl.
Defense is good I think they just gave up at the end because of the offensive struggled.

Jets defense needs to make that next step and start scoring touchdowns and getting turnovers consistently; for Cobb to say that he means it cus he’s seen a lot of defenses in his career.
The Jets will force more turnovers this year with the help of the offense. Last year teams would play conservative because they were not scared of the Jets offense putting up points. More leads for the Jets means more mistakes will be made by opposing offenses

Soo...it makes sense RC would say that about our defense. gB had some of the worse defenses with Aaron at the helm. Also, our defense this year will be worse with the loss of jfm and huff.

No, we had players like Corey Davis quit on us and Allen Lazard sucking. Was he good for us? No, but neither were any other recievers not named Garrett Wilson...

Hackett will be the reason this team does not succeed. Will not be able to utilize all of that talent.
I kind of want to bring Cobb back this season... But as some kind of low level assistant coach.
