REPORT: New York Jets Are A Suitor For Bryce Young If He Is Traded | NY Jets Latest
#newyorkjets #jets #newyorkjetsnews
I am from Tampa via Brooklyn, NY and I have always been a NY Jets and FSS fan. Trust me when I say once Jordan Travis gets healthy he will be our future QB. He is a tremendously excited, dynamic and electrifying player. Give him time to rehab and come back stronger and he will be our QB of the future. Adrian Martinez was very impressive in preseason. We can move forward with these young two QBs learning from Aaron Rodgers.
No thank you. I rather develop Jordan Travis.
Travis needs another year BEFORE he can even put on pads.
agreed
That makes no sense at all you can have multiple qbs that you can develop on one roster, the Broncos literally have three
@@NB233___ patriots have 3 as well Joe Milton drake and the starting quarterback
Oh because that’s something we’ve been historically great at?
I mean are we sure Young is better than Jordan Travis at this point? But how hilarious would it be that the Jets of all teams are the ones who pull the trigger and trade for him and then eventually fix him?
Jordan cant walk. Young can. That is the difference
jordan travis wont be playing until 2025, young has experience., i would offer travis and a 2nd round pick for 2025!!
Jets don’t fix young QBs; they e always ruined them.
There’s nothing that stands out about Bryce young talent wise.
@@yoholmes273 He’s injured. And neither would see the field likely just for training camp until 2025
@@mjib1977 problem is Young has experience but so did Zach Wilson lol. Young has been straight garbage. Worse even then the likes of Zach and Jamarcus Russell thus far. Travis is rehabbing from his ankle but he has been around Rodgers this season soaking up all the info. He will be back to practicing next offseason and on. I just don't see giving up assets for a bust of a qb when the Jets themselves have not proven they can even develop one as of yet.
There a reason why he was the 1st player taken and was highly regarded. If we can get him for a late rounder why not? Wouldn’t give up more than a 4th. For once we might be the team to take old crumbs and make them bread.
Same logic applies to ZW and how did that work out? He’s a bust deal with it
Anyone with eyes could see Stroud was better. Tepper is possibly the worst owner in sports, absolutely clueless.
@@rickyspanish645 There were plenty who questioned Stroud coming out don’t pretend like he was some flawless guarantee and Young was some scrub!
@@Jetsjohnny no one's perfect but if you actually watched Stroud play he was the clear #1
@@rickyspanish645 That’s your opinion; this is an inherently subjective subject (who’s better). So while you may feel very strongly about your opinion, it is still just that! Most experts had Young #1 and their only question was his Durability not ABILITY! Stop being a pompous pretentious asshat!
We could also have him earn a starting spot by going against Jordan Travis to get the best out of him. Obviously this is later down the line, but something to take note of.
young isn't going anywhere , don't want a 5'9" 180 lb. qb with no confidence anyway , unless his name is kyler murray , let's work on developing travis , pat's tackling rodgers out of bounds was bullshxt with no penalty called , have to appreciate jets players not beating the crap out of the patriot player ,and not taking a bad penalty there , we do have to work on the 5 bad penalties we did take.
NYJ are notorious for great young qb development
This wins.
Peace bro and good energy to you JETS JETS JETS . It was awsome seeing LT3 get half sack THE U REPRESENTS . WILL IS GOING NUTS
I’m down let him learn from Rodgers for a couple years
But Jordan travis then?
@@Delmiros12 He has ways to go with his recovery. He had a very serious injury…literally broke his leg in half.
there is nothing to learn he is just to small
Is he gonna learn how to grow 5 inches?
We don’t need him but he did play completion at the highest level in college and was a Heisman. I don’t believe he’s bad I believe all QBs have to go where they fit. Who develops you is a major component to success, for example Geno Smith, who thought he’d ever be a starter in this league but he found a home and is doing well as can be expected. Young with Travis is a possible good deal if we get him for little , but I wouldn’t give up much but a late rd pick just like we did with Zach . I just wanna point out Carolina is a mess all around and putting full blame on a young QB isn’t warranted
Good take. I agree.
Why would anyone want a shorter version of Zach Wilson lol
He has a much higher football IQ than Zach, doesn’t turn the ball over and doesn’t play hero ball. He has had a very bad start, though.
He's worse than Zach Wilson
@@common12 Young doesn't turn the football over? Yeah he does. Maybe not in college but in the pros he does.
@@common12he’s thrown 3 INTs in the first 2 games so wtf are you talking about?
Young hasn’t had any weapons. Zach had the top two weapons in the league and has done nothing with it. I have no idea if Young is good, but he should have a better environment
I wouldn't mind having both Bryce and Jordan on the roster
Tepper might just spill a drink on him before he exits. That Guy tepper is like diddy kong.
This would be Zach Wilson all over again
If this plays out like I think it will Bryce young will be the future Tyrod Taylor but honestly panthers should trade him to a team that has a veteran already so he can sit for a 1-2 worse case scenario
timing isn't right, we aren't carrying three QBS on active roster for a project
Travis is on the IR
I can’t get pass the size issue.
Rather see what Travis develops into
As usual another great video. Filled with truth and jets joy.
@@SuperLeroy66 thanks a ton Leroy!!
@@JetsCentral NP
Depends what it would take but I’d do it if the panthers wanted to trade him at some point. Higher upside and more pedigree than Travis and gets to sit behind ARod.
All of you in the comments are some Bryce Young haters 😭 look at what happened once Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold left the panthers, dude was a first ovr pick for a reason, I could see him really reforming his career when he’s 26-28 and someone finally gives him a shot
Sam Darnold had two good games. Relax. Come back here after 8 games.
@@wraynephew6838 it’s not about “two good games” it’s the fact that Darnolds showing the talent of a top 3 draft pick, wheras, he was “trash” and “had no talent” in New York and Carolina. All of these guys have a chance to succeed in a good offensive scheme and team, which is why it makes no sense for everyone to mark off Bryce Young this early. And on a team like the Jets have now, I could see Bryce having success.
@santadbg5759 as the first guy already said, darnold has shown a little bit in a couple games. He had like 4 good games to end his rookie year with the jets. He isn't suddenly good, my man
I agree with Darnold assessment. Let's see what he and Zach can do. This regime does not develop QBs. The will not develop Jordan Travis
Both Baker and Darnold have something Bryce doesn't: an NFL-caliber arm.
I lean toward it not being the right fit but very worthwhile idea to examine! Thx.
How cool will it be if a quarterback came here and revived their career because normally it’s the other way around I would be pretty excited if he came here. I like Travis too so
Ian nice take on this Brother!
🔥🔥💯
Bring in Bryce man has talent!
We good with Jordan Travis … he has the same skill set and his leadership/ poise is truly needed at the qb position … we have our starter, backup, and developmental qb … we are good
Absolutely! Send over a 3rd. Good competition for Travis. And seeing what Baker has done since leaving Carolina, gives me hope there's plenty of potential in Young.
Not sure that Bryce Young is better than Jordan Travis once he gets healthy.
Interesting, I am very high on Travis, but there is nothing like competition and depth. It all depends on what we have to give.
love our options on offense....Also happy coaching staff began to bring Lb's DB's to put pressure on QB ...Push off by Rodgers vs Salah...
The coach was like a little girl "your going to save my job"
No
“He looks smaller than every smaller quarterback that we’ve seen”😂😂😂😂😂
We get Bryce we can get a a franchise talent at QB we need to trade for him
He needs a ladder to see over the O Line. It was a reach of a pick
Well Rodgers can't do this forever. We need a future answer.
Rodgers can play until 50 and help us win 5 Super Bowls!!!
Ok...maybe not. Maybe we could acquire Bryce, develop both him and Travis, then flip one of them to fill other needs.
We already have Jordan Travis
Big win last night IAN !!!!!!!!!
Young sitting behind Rodgers for 1-2 years would be perfect for Young and the Jets once Rodgers retires
The NFL game is faster. Not all college QB’s can adjust to that.
We have Aaron and I don’t care what happens next. I enjoy rooting for the Jet players that are on the field now. Go Jets!
We don’t need that leave Bryce Young where he’s at. We’re good with Rogers right now. Rogers next year will draft a quarterback next year or possibly the guys that we have on the team right now to learn from behind him we don’t need none of that nonsense right now leave that shit words that.
I'm just going to enjoy the MVP HOF QB we have now.
I'll take my chances with Travis.
Definately not, you need a strong armed tough QB like Levis in NY.
Being "strong-armed" doesn't cut the mustard...you've got to develop great awareness and decision making, like Pennington. Not saying Levis won't become that...I'm just done with hearing about "strong-armed quarterbacks."
Tom Brady, the Mannings, Montana, Drew Brees, Aaron...they're known for their decision making.
@adamstuhlman2206 I am talking about playing in NY, Young does not have a north east arm. You can't have a QB who can't handle winter weather. You need a Levis, Hooker, Allar, Maye type. You are talking about HOF QB's also, Young is not an option for NY , he will get exposed.
Hell no!
I love that we have Jordan Travis but I want him to take all the time he possibly needs to be 110%. Why not trade for Bryce Young? Aaron and Tyrod are up there in age . Maybe we can have Young as a starter and Travis as a long term backup/starter
If we're trading with Carolina, lets be honest, it should be for Jadeveon Clowney.
I feel like he’s just gonna be another Zach Wilson. I mean Zach coming out of college was this confidant mobile accurate QB and look where that got us. So I have to say no, let’s not do this again.
No thanks
I’d be all for getting Bryce at the right price.
This guy getting benched is being overblown. Wasn’t Aikman benched? I think Terry Bradshaw got benched many times. It doesn’t mean Young is finished with the Panthers
At least they were smart enough to move on unlike what we did for 3 years
Fine, I'll take a 2nd round pick from the Panthers for Bryce Young.
Nice try. Ask for 2 number 1s because anyone dumb enough to give up a 3 will be dumb enough to give up a paid of ones. You realize every team in the league has film on this guy don't you.
NO... we have Jordan Travis.. next question please
I like Bryce Young quite a lot. Even before he was drafted. The dude can play and if he sits a yr or 2 behind ARod imagine what he could do with us.
I think the Panthers should trade Young but I don’t want him. I did not then nor do I now think he’s an NFL quarterback. We already have our own Bryce Young: Jordan Travis.
His size is most concerning to me. I just don’t understand how you can play efficiently at 5’10 trying to see over 6’3+ lineman.
We don’t need another Zach Wilson situation
Carolina can keep Young as far as I concerned.
I love what we already got in Jordan Travis who was picked for this but if they want to, go ahead but I like Travis and I think we got a steal in the draft like we did with Brealon Allen
They give up Zach Wilson to snag up Bryce Young? Negative. Zach Wilson is a much better QB than what's out there.
Would you take Darnold back when Rodgers retires and The Vikings start JJ McCarthy ?
If any team could screw up a QB, it is the Jets!!! 🏈🤔💭😀✌️
I mean if they would take a 4th for him then I'm all for it. Joe might not be the best GM but he did manage to help us win the Adams and Sam trade so I'm sure he won't give up to much if we did want him
Jets don't need Zach Wilson 2.0.
I know having Bryce Young sit behind Rodgers would maybe help Young, but I would rather develop Jordan Travis.
Worst ownership in the NFL = Carolina Panthers
for once, we can feast on rookie QBs
Hell he’s Zach Wilson . I’ll roll with Travis .
Bryce Young? No thank you. I'm all in for Jordan Travis. I hope he's already going over game film with AR. Panthers screwed up putting BY on the field too soon (sounds familiar?). Getting beat up does not equate to "learning". That being said, I think Jordan Travis was (and still is) the right call for us.
Robert Saleh looks sad, he really wanted that hug!!! GG!
Saw him play last year against the juggernaut Jags, and I wasn't impressed. I'd pass.
Jordan Travis will pick where Rodgers leaves and success will double
Zach Wilson part 2 ? Nah I’m good
Absolutely not. I can’t believe a fan base who went through Zach Wilson wants to sign up for a guy that was worse than him.
considering we ruin every qb that enters the building, i don’t think it’d be the best landing spot
Wow before we even get a chance to see Travis?
Just imagine Zack Wilson named the Bronco starting QB and we lose to him.
Go for it. Why not?
Still no word on Moses?
nope :/
Not expected to be season ending is the early word
He should be okay maybe miss a game or so but it’s Denver, OLU can hold it down, if he’s out let him rest the 11 days and then get ready for London
This would be good- jets would be getting a first-rounder so they don’t have draft one in April. Travis has a ways to go and is targeted at a high-ended backup.
Travis almost took FSU to the playoffs
We don’t need Zack Wilson part 2
Did you forget Doug Flutie
Rodgers retiring after one full season played ... I don't even want to think about that scenario. Anything less than another two years would be a disaster.
No
I think Jordan Travis is good don't know much about Young.
We dont want Zack Wilson 2.0
Pick him up if they cut him. Have him develop under Aaron for two years. Come 2026 let him and Travis fight for the starting job
Jordan Travis is next up that’s it that’s all!!!!!!
Did jordan travis die?
Same question here what happend? 🤔🤔
He has ways to go with his recovery. He had a very serious injury…literally broke his leg in half.
I SWEAR MAN JETS FANS DO THE FUCKIN MOST
Isn't he recovering from a major injury?
@@common12 he broke his ankle, not his leg.
So, pick up an undersized QB with a confidence problem? Bold plan.
We don't need a half-pint quarterback
Rather give sam darnold a 10 year 500 million contract
I’m sorry but 5’10 for a QB is just not appealing. How’s he supposed to stand in the pocket and deliver darts over guys who have half a foot on him? I understand Russell Wilson is under 6’0 and he had a fairly successful career, but idc. Not interested one bit.
The Jets don’t need another Zach! No thanks
It doesn’t make any sense if they take him why did they draft Jordan Travis why did they got Tella either one of them? It’s going to take us to a Super Bowl. It doesn’t make any sense.
He should Potentially go to the Miami fish
I dunno that I'd spend any draft capital on him. I'd have no issue having him run the scout team and maybe he can develop while Travis is rehabbing. But is that worth a draft pick? I dunno.
Nah. Jordan Travis is our possible future franchise QB. Taylor is Rodger’s back up. No more QBs! We need more pass rushers!
Id rather have sammy d back after rodgers tbh.
He looked defeated after the first game, but if we can get him and let him sit behind Rogers that would be the best thing for a year or 2 but at the same time I want to see Jordan Travis
3 Reasons I would say no:
1. We don't have a coach that has successfully helped develop a QB. Nathaniel Hackett isn't that. We don't even have a QB coach right now. And he definitely needs development.
2. He has no overwhelming tools. His mobility is nothing unique, his arm talent isn't anything unique either. He's accurate (or at least he was) but there's nothing about his arm or legs that can bail him out when things get bad. He's not Kyler Murray or Russell Wilson, those guys are/were mobile and had stronger arms. Drew Brees was a unicorn. Bryce isn't any 3 of those guys.
3. He has talent for sure but at Bama he was surrounded by a ton of talent that most other teams he faced could not match up with. Check the 2022 Bama Roster, he played with no less than 12 current NFL players and there are about 5 or 6 more that will be in the NFL from that roster. So was he making teammates better or was he around the best situation possible to succeed?
Trade Reddick for him.
Great situation for the Young man to learn from Aaron.
Rogers might “Love” it, if they just talk to him about it first.
