REQUEST: Someday, could you also please react to one more live performance of: “Somebody To Love” Live at MILTON KEYNES BOWL in 1982 …The Milton Keynes rendition is actually the version that Queen included in their compilation of BEST live performances!
Freedy always said that he is not Queen in interviews. He is the lead singer of the Queen band. That there are 4 guys equal. Queen is 4 guys who wrote nr 1 songs, they all sing, play multi instruments, and write songs. Queen is in 2 Hall of Fame as a writer and as a band.
I actually really appreciate the preliminary research you do on who you are reacting to. You don't come in ignorant as some do, then you proceed to give us relevant and interesting facts. Thanks so much.
Yes good point. I hate when reactors ask a question and invite people to reply with the answer when they could easily Google the answer themselves. In fact it drives me mad when they do that. I’m getting agitated just thinking about it.
Miss Freddie and the guys ❤ But i’m so glad with all the vids there are and footage and UA-cam reactions. This keeps their legacy alive. More Queen please and keep up the good work. Much bless!
This is one of my favorite song of Queen. Freddie's vocal is amazing. May I suggest to please react to SOMEBODY TO LOVE version in Milton Keynes Bowl 1982 - I'm sure you will love it because it more energetic, more moves.. Thank you for your great reaction. Take care 🙂
Brian May said that Queen were a very well-oiled machine. They rehearsed and they delivered to the best of their abilities and they were very, very good. No dancing girls, no fireworks. Just them.
Queen can really gut you!! Yes Sir! Freddie’s Adkins are priceless- Roger is so incredibly talented- you know when I’m just barely in their twenties they lived on and off together- they are very tight-
Actually, it was totally, IN CONTROL! Those guys rehearsed to within an inch of their lives. They employed glances, hand gestures, nods, facial expressions to project what would happen next. They each knew every nuance, every subtle gesture. Every live performance you see is ALWAYS perfection. Queen was always in sync. And, that drummer, Roger Taylor, could vocally hit notes that Freddie called his dog whistle. Implying that some notes were so high they could only be heard by dogs. All while shredding his kit.
Cant go wrong with Queen! The Live Aid Concert is a must watch with Queen. A lot of people say it’s the best 22 minutes of live music. Freddie Mercury had the audience in the palm of his hands. Amazing.
Another one that got away too soon.l I remember when I heard he had died... So unbelievably sad. I loved Queen and Freddy was no doubt one of the best singers ever. Sad how his life was cut short in the end like that.... :( LJ
Everyone in Queen knew their roles and did their roles perfectly!!! I am vey Blessed to witness Queen in the Beginning an now!!! But every time I see Freddie I cry because I and others knew he was performing wih AIDS and it's many complications and there was and still is "No Cure." So, I am always Happy and sad at the same time. Great reaction!!!
Having seen this live version there is also one of this song . Milton Keynes Bowl 1982 which is really great too.But of course it's Queen always great.
QUEEN! I was there...1981...believe me, the place was going crazy!! Never tire of re-living this fantastic concert! The entire band was on on point. The backup vocals by Roger - hitting those high notes - and Brian, too - are pure harmony! With rare exceptions, QUEEN is meant to be heard LIVE. The band always adds something different and very special to their concerts...their energy is amazing. Thanks for your great reaction! Hope you get a chance to see "Who Wants to Live Forever" LIVE in Budapest, 1986. I think you would enjoy it.
Please always try to go with the live videos- I’m loving how you care enough to check out Queen- and Freddie- he is your gift and responsibility to keep his music alive- Sal- it just comes naturally! I’ve loved Freddie for 50 years-
I knew you would be BLOWN AWAY by this one 🔥 Roger Taylor is an impressive drummer but his vocals are also amazing!! 🎸🎼🎤🔥 I also knew you would run it back toward the end to hear Freddie’s vocals again ♥️🎤 Great reaction!!
The emotions that cross your face as you progress thru the song are priceless. Half way you picked up a bottle to take a drink and put it down again (I imagine you subconsciously realized it would distract you from what you were experiencing.) Those feelings are what we feel each time we listen too. This performance never gets old no matter how many times I listen/watch. Mind blowing performance by Queen. 🤯
This is my favourite live performance by Queen. Just so much energy and passion. Freddie’s power and rock star swagger when he gets up from the piano. 😘👌🏻
I was lucky enough to see them live in 76 for the Night at the Opera tour. We were in the orchestra pit close enough to touch them. Brian May spoke to us during the show and asked us what song we wanted to hear. I chose Keep Yourself Alive. Freddie gave me long stem rose during the encore and people were wildly trying to rip it out of my hands. He called me darling. My best friend dared me to touch his bare foot and of course I did. Roger Taylor gave her his drumsticks. One of the best concerts of my life besides of course Led Zeppelin. ✌️♥️🎶
It's Queen, it's GOING to be AWESOME!! They're all just amazing! I don't always tear up on songs, but today I did with this one for some reason! I always smile watching or listening to their music, which can't help but do to any of their songs. Great reaction!
We have seen and heard Queen on it's complete majesty: a brilliant guitarrist, a brilliant bassist, a brilliant drummer and the best possible frontmam/ singer. The four, together, sound like an Orchestra.
You may already know this, but just in case... Sir Brian Harold May CBE (born 19 July 1947) is an English musician, songwriter, singer, astrophysicist and animal rights activist. He achieved worldwide fame as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the rock band Queen, which he co-founded with singer Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor. The legendary guitarist recently put his doctorate in astrophysics to use to help NASA return its first-ever asteroid sample to Earth. The sample was taken from the asteroid Bennu. When he's not rocking out on stage as a founding member of Queen, Brian May enjoys a healthy scientific interest in outer space.
A couple little things about this performance: Something went wrong with Brian's guitar. When Freddie swivels on the piano bench toward Brian, you hear only 1 note. Then, just before the camera cuts away, you see Brian unplug. Roger starts drumming & Freddie starts toward the front of the stage but he's turned & watching Brian go backstage to the guitar technician. Freddie works the audience & Brian is back very quickly. You see Freddie turn to see him coming back. They're such pros, it's nearly seamless. 2nd thing is that Freddie is said to have been put off that the audience wasn't as responsive as Queen audiences usually were. He seemed to have to work a lot more than usual to get them into the chant. Apparently they had been told by security to stay seated during the concert so that's what all those polite Canadians were doing!
You were just blessed by the touch of the GOAT 😊 Takes time to realize we are simply mere mortals after watching Queen in action Great reaction ♥️💥❤️🔥🔥 You should also see Somebody To Love Live at Milton Keynes 1982 Awesome !!
Queen was the real deal. 🙂
My favorite rendition of this song 🥰🥰🥰
THE DRUMMER IS FANTASTIC !!
Freddie Mercury was a Rock god
No one then or now has ever commanded a stage and an audience like Freddie. No. One.

“Somebody To Love”
Live at MILTON KEYNES BOWL in 1982

I was listening to Queen in 1976, I was 13 that year
Love love love Queen reactions❤Much love from Canada❤🇨🇦
If you’re could time travel, this is where I’d time travel to. ❤🎉

Watch live aid to see just how amazing he was with the audience
Just....What a BAND!!!!!!!!
Magnificent masters of musical performances . . . that's QUEEN!
Freddie Mercury..the perfect performer!!!

Freddie left his heart and soul on the stage for his audience, period.
Perfection...
Best frontmen evan❤
Miss Freddie and the guys ❤ But i’m so glad with all the vids there are and footage and UA-cam reactions. This keeps their legacy alive. More Queen please and keep up the good work. Much bless!
The ad lib is my favourite. Enjoyed seeing how much you loved this. PLAY QUEEN LOUD. PQL.
Freddie is just in a class all to himself which no one will ever match.
And that is a dope a** drum set!
gotta be one of the best performances of all time...perfect perfect perfict WOW
Yes Freddie had an amazing voice...... gotta say that Roger Taylor (drums) did such an awesome job too on the backing vocals💪❤️ He still does 🙂
Totally agree he is AMAZING love Roger ❤❤
Roger has a fantastic rock voice.
Roger Taylor 🔥
Roger is often carrying the highest notes. He would have been leading any group...but one Freddy was in. Every one of them are stars.
Nothing but talent on that stage, all of them, raw pulsating talent.
Probably the greatest frontman ever and I doubt he will ever be surpassed. The ad-libbing is so good because of one thing - Talent.
Freddie. My first and best love.
And yes...even how good they are....they are better live !
He was very professional! That's not beer, but tea with honey for his voice
Take care 🙂

It’s an experience every time .
Gone too soon! This whole concert in Montreal is awesome!
Actually, it was totally, IN CONTROL! Those guys rehearsed to within an inch of their lives. They employed glances, hand gestures, nods, facial expressions to project what would happen next. Cant go wrong with Queen! The Live Aid Concert is a must watch with Queen. A lot of people say it’s the best 22 minutes of live music. Freddie Mercury had the audience in the palm of his hands. Amazing.
It was so good that it was reported that David Bowie asked “ how the f am I supposed to follow that?”
No auto tune ..no computers ..no lip sinc..All original talent...
Another one that got away too soon.l I remember when I heard he had died... So unbelievably sad. I loved Queen and Freddy was no doubt one of the best singers ever. Sad how his life was cut short in the end like that.... :( LJ
Heaven Must have a Hell of a band.
Dove down the Queen rabbit hole 4 1/2 years ago and still going! Unbelievable talent!
The best frontman & performer ever❤Freddie Mercury, my number one band Queen ❤
Yes! Love Queen, love that song and chose Montréal, my hometown!
My favourite thing about this is that it's not a special performance; it's just what they did.
The energy is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 here
I thought the studio version of this song was alright but this version is amazing! This is the version that is in my music rotation.
Wonderful. Personal favorite is Bowie and Mercury "Under Pressure."
Freddie was asked why he never had his teeth. He said he felt his voice may be affected. That's a true performer ❤ Lost him way too soon.
Mr. Mercury was right on point regarding a singer's teeth and how making changes in them can adversely affect vocal ability.
We had wonderful music 🎶 back in the day. Queen 💓 is wonderful and beautiful and awesome ..❤
Live with Roger Taylor's backing vocals is awesome..
Thank you for posting this..😊❤
Love
Pretty sure one of the only mideastern rockers in the world!! I just love that- his parents were so cute. Very proud of him;)
Everyone in Queen knew their roles and did their roles perfectly!!! I am vey Blessed to witness Queen in the Beginning an now!!! But every time I see Freddie I cry because I and others knew he was performing wih AIDS and it's many complications and there was and still is "No Cure." Remember No electronic voice enhancement, No backing singers, Just Queen the band!
Freddie was legendary... there will never be another like him....
Having seen this live version there is also one of this song .
Milton Keynes Bowl 1982 which is really great too.But of course it's Queen always great.
Make a rection for "Killer Queen and Im in love with my car", also from the Montreal Concert, then you will see a "backing vocal"! 😎
Yes! Like others have said, you’ve got to react to their live aid concert. It’s half hour long but so worth it!
Talking about ad lib, when Freddie gets up from the piano the second time, you can see Brain May going back to change a broken guitar string🎶💫🎸
QUEEN! I was there...1981...believe me, the place was going crazy!! Never tire of re-living this fantastic concert! The entire band was on on point. That's awesome! ❤
Roger Taylor, Don Henley, Phil Collins. Killer Singing Drummers!
And that’s how it’s done! Legends!!
"Dragon attack" from the same show is a must reaction ... So good !
You have just watched a Masterclass on how to be a rock n roll band! Queen live is always exceptional. There are numerous examples of Queen live. ❤️
One of the greatest live performances ever. Comparing to the studio version this is a whole new song.
This is the only version I will listen to. No comparison!
Please always try to go with the live videos- I’m loving how you care enough to check out Queen- and Freddie- he is your gift and responsibility to keep his music alive- Sal- it just comes naturally! I’ve loved Freddie for 50 years-
Queens performance of this song at Milton Keynes 1982, is also so so great!!! Please react to that one too.
Rock in peace Freddie ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🇮🇹
So bad ass man 🇬🇧
In live, without overdub, without autotune, play-back... Just 4 amazing musicians. Pure sound.
You have to react to Queen at Live Aid-The BEST performance by anyone EVER!!
I'm sure I don't even have to tell you that it is a MUST that you react to Queen's entire set at Live Aid!
I was lucky enough to see them live in Denver in the 80s. Magic! RIP Freddie❤
Roger Taylor on drums and backing vocals. He slays it.❤❤❤❤
The emotions that cross your face as you progress thru the song are priceless. How lucky you and your friend were. Such fabulous memories of a long ago magical time.
Soo lucky
There is no one person that can compare or even come close to Freddie. He was pure magic. Rest in paradise ❤❤❤
The Greatest Band of all time 👑
It's Queen, it's GOING to be AWESOME!! They're all just amazing! I don't always tear up on songs, but today I did with this one for some reason! I always smile watching or listening to their music, which can't help but do to any of their songs. Great reaction!
Can you imagine seeing this show then, in the same year, seeing Journey in Houston? What an epic year for concerts!! 🔥🔥
Thanks for recognising Roger’s and the whole bands talent! ❤️❤️
Timeless. So thankful it's captured for us all to see.
The band had perfect synchronicity! GODS, they are, and sadly were. LONG LIVE FREDDIE IN OUR HEARTS!😊
Roger Taylor was always the vocal 'secret weapon', in Queen. He sang the high parts.
Queen was perfection live.
Greatest live performance of all time!!!
We have seen and heard Queen on it's complete majesty: a brilliant guitarrist, a brilliant bassist, a brilliant drummer and the best possible frontmam/ singer. The four, together, sound like an Orchestra.
One of the best things about UA-cam is, I can go back and watch people, discover Queen singing this performance for the first time. 🎉
You may already know this, but just in case...

Everything from the Montreal concert is incredible! Save Me, Dragon Attack, Bohemian Rhapsody.....
I've been following queen since 1975 the song then was killer Queen
And that is how it's done...
Queen is a band. They have their own sound and their own chemistry. A complete package.
We had the best music from the 70's and 80's and enjoyed all these greats immensely!
I love this so much! Rest in Peace Freddie.
Glad you found this live version. It's f'n amazing.
Freddie the best Front Man EVER! His energy was pure raw talent. G O A T. Absolutely love Queen.
