I'm so very excited to launch today's video, my big fashion trends style edit for Autumn Winter 2024! Sharing all the fashion trends you need to know, how to style those looks in your own real life and where to shop those looks across for less:) But which is your favourite fashion trend? There's lots of really wearable ones this season which you'll be pleased to hear so I hazard a guess they'll be a few we will all be adding a sprinkle of within our outfit ideas:) I'm looking forward to hearing from you all, big hugs, Jess:)
I wish all fashion videos were like this - really informative, to the point and great recommendations which have something for everyone. All within 12 minutes! Appreciate the hard work that would've gone in this.
I love that you do these short summaries of fashion trends for each season; even better, you interpret them for real-world wear. 💜 I can imagine a series of follow-up videos focusing on several of the more wearable ones: ladylike, bohemian, wraps, burgundy, olive, belts, satin, skirt suits. I love satin, but like you, i've noticed that designers are using satin as an excuse to use polyester instead of silk. I saw a beautiful satin dress for fall on the Nordstrom website that cost a small fortune (thousands) and assumed it would be made from silk; i was shocked to learn it was 100% polyester. Ugh!

I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from *hotdups* for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.

I like the streamline elegance that you get from monotone outfits. Perhaps it's the simplicity that can make so much of an impact especially with autumnal colours like deep red/burgundy!
Yes me too:) I think it makes an impact and isn’t too fussy for the eye being all in one colour but then if you can manage to integrate different textures it gives the outfit more depth and interest👌🏻 I’m on the hunt for more burgundy pieces to create more tonal looks:))

Love your videos. I love fashion although I still follow my own style and taste. I'd love to change my job and work helping people to dress and feel well with themselves but don't know where to start from..
I am and always have been a turtle neck girl, so I love these options! I'm also loving the denim, crisp white shirt and blazer combo. I am going to a wedding in the UK next month and I am wanting to wear a navy and red tweed lady jacket that I own by Veronica beard. Problem is I did not by the matching dress when I bought the jacket as I mostly wear it with jeans . What sort of dress would you recommend I look for to look current? Rieca

I would probably pick out the navy tone and go with a dress or skirt and cami top in that. It sounds like the jacket is a really special piece so I'd advise letting it be the star of the show and keeping the rest of your outfit tonal and minimal. Hope that helps lovely x

It’s harder to find, and more expensive, but I buy only genuine silk satin (allergic to plastics). Quince is a great, more affordably option for this, but they currently don’t ship outside the US (and maybe Canada?). Quince is like “our Arket” here.
I keep hearing how lovely Quince is, I had a look at their collection recently actually and it's beautiful:) Keeping my fingers crossed they start shipping to the UK and Europe soon! x

Hello Jelena, aah these are an absolute favourite pair! In fact I love the shape so much I bought them in black too! They’re from the Frankie shop, I’ve added a link in the description box if you need it:) Although they advise sizing down once I don’t in these and it seems to give them an even nicer drape and fit. Great vlog again Jess, but way too fast, struggled to keep up and view everything. Your vlogs are not one of the ones I normally skip through as lots of detail to consider,belts, bags, lengths, shapes and the colour mixes of an outfit. Yes I got the general style ideas but unable to digest everything when presented so fast. ❤️

I am going to a wedding in the UK next month and I am wanting to wear a navy and red tweed lady jacket that I own by Veronica beard. Problem is I did not by the matching dress when I bought the jacket as I mostly wear it with jeans .
What sort of dress would you recommend I look for to look current?

I would probably pick out the navy tone and go with a dress or skirt and cami top in that. It sounds like the jacket is a really special piece so I'd advise letting it be the star of the show and keeping the rest of your outfit tonal and minimal. Hope that helps lovely x

It’s harder to find, and more expensive, but I buy only genuine silk satin (allergic to plastics). Quince is a great, more affordably option for this, but they currently don’t ship outside the US (and maybe Canada?). Quince is like “our Arket” here.
I keep hearing how lovely Quince is, I had a look at their collection recently actually and it's beautiful:) Keeping my fingers crossed they start shipping to the UK and Europe soon! x

Hello Jelena, aah these are an absolute favourite pair! In fact I love the shape so much I bought them in black too! They’re from the Frankie shop, I’ve added a link in the description box if you need it:) Although they advise sizing down once I don’t in these and it seems to give them an even nicer drape and fit. Great vlog again Jess, but way too fast, struggled to keep up and view everything. Your vlogs are not one of the ones I normally skip through as lots of detail to consider,belts, bags, lengths, shapes and the colour mixes of an outfit. Yes I got the general style ideas but unable to digest everything when presented so fast. ❤️
